- I have longed to bring Wen on a bikepacking trip where we would camp in the wild. It was Wen's new bike first time out on a long-haul trip and we were excited to see how 'she' performed on the hills of Dartmoor. We managed to make the most of the 3x9 gear range for the absurd amount of hill climb and descent during this trip. Two years ago, I bike-packed along the south coast of UK where I discovered a picturesque site to wild-camp in Dartmoor. This time round, I relived the trip with Wen and it was wonderful to see her joy in our slow travel experience.
We took a train down to Exeter St Davids from Bristol. We then cycled toward Dartmoor to camp for the night, followed by chilling by the Bellever Forest the following morning. We then further explored southward towards Ivybridge. On the third day, we cycled toward Plymouth where took the train back to Bristol. It was refreshing 3 days 2 nights getaway in June to reset from our daily lives and we had a blast from this trip!
Welcome to those of you just joined my channel. Thank you for watching and I shall see you in the next one. Sweet!
Wen's bike was a Temple's bike. Feel free to checkout Temple Cycles's collection of bikes with timeless colours.

Love it!
You picked such a nice route/location for the trip, with the music fitting the sunny mood so well! Makes me want to come back the UK. Good to seee the bike from the build video in action, too. Reassures me that orderung the bullmoose bars for my own was a good choice.
Wow, wonderful footage of my home county Devon.
Being an Exeter lad, i don't get up to Dartmoor enough.
Well done.
Oh, that climb up through the woods is a steep one too Mortenhampstead!
Come back again.
😊😊😊😊
Nice video, you two made me alive again! Thank you!, ❤✌🏾
Nice bike
well done Ted and Wen! really enjoy your video!
Beautiful filming! I've been to some of Devon's south coast but never explored Dartmoor, it looks really lovely, and very hilly!
Keep making videos! They're mesmerizing ..
Lovely!
Beautiful & inspiring video!
beautiful film
Hello, I'm from Indonesia and I followed you 2 months ago. Thank you for making a very inspiring video for me to restarting my cycling activities and of course going on a bikepacking adventure. Starting with several videos and I watched 4 episodes of your bike tour. Enjoying the 'freedom' of cycling, rejoicing when the road goes downhill and cursing a little when the road goes uphill LOL. Hopefully one day I can cycle there, Dartmoor. Keep inspiring. Looking forward to your cycling journey video guys! Stay health!
Thank you for your kind words, kawan gue. 🙌 Everytime I watched back the clip of me bombing downhill, it did feel me with joy too! Felt so freeeeee! Hope all is well at your end, never stop pedalling! 💪
KAWAN GUEEE!!! 😁 agree! never stop pedalling!! Terimakasih TJ@@tadwenture
It's shot very nicely!) The bikes have a cool look - very stylish😎😎Cool trip, felt like the main character))))))😅😅

Beautiful place..👌👌♥️ keep safe always🚴🚴🇵🇭
soooo goood la!
Really good production quality for the amount of subs you guys have. Good stuff
The Devon roads make me nervous because they’re so thin and cars travel so fast down them!
I know right! lot's of hills as well, we never know what's coming around the hedges.🫣
8:47 - I'm not in favor of tattoos, but I wanted one of these too)
Lovely footage, what camera and lens are you using and how are you getting the video while riding so smooth?
Looks like it was a great first experience :D That's such a great area to camp when the sun is out.
Great video, love your filming and editing style.
Is that peanut butter in that jar?
Thanks man, the good stuff in the jar was a homemade cookie dough! 🤗Much needed fuel during our trip. I got the recipe inspiration from one of the article in bikepacking.com. I also documented a short section of making this in our cycle trip to Bath video last year.
