I was born and raised in Tahlequah, OK where Mr. Ed's grave is. In fact, I lived about a 1/2 mile down the highway from the property and grew up with the family who lived there at the time that the headstone was erected. There used to be a large music festival there that Z104.5 in Tulsa sponsored called "Ed Fest". It lasted for several years and ended in the late 90s. On another note, my family lived in Tulsa in the 60s and 70s and were neighbors with Leon Russell. My brother helped Leon packed and load items when he was moving to make it big.

Whenever I hear Leon Russell’s name mentioned I automatically see JJ Cale and Leon Russell performing a great set at The Paradise Studios,
Plus his great stage presence with Joe Cocker ‘ Mad Dogs And Englishmen ‘.

Good to see you two making it to Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa. There are a lot of celebrities in there. You saw some of them. There are inventors, pro baseball, football, basketball players, famous preachers and televangelists and more. It's a great one to visit. I'm hoping you finally made it to Tommy Allsup's grave which is not too far from where you were.

The Leon Russell gravesite has got to be one of most beautiful gravestones I've ever seen for a music entertainer. Thank you so much for showing that. I've only recently become quite a fan of his.
Dimebag & Vinnies gravesite is beautifully done. George Jones's is just grand & fit for the country king he was. And the way they redid Jimi Hendrix's grave is just spectacular. Eazy-E's new stone is amazing, I could go on & on. But Leon's.... Just wow.. And because of you Jordan, we are able to see them all. Thank you so so much for your awsome, informative & respectful videos.
You are the Best Jordan. The Best

Thanks Jordan for showing us the graves of all these great legends even Mr Ed flashbacks, part of my childhood memories for sure. Leon Russell was also a treat to see. He wrote the song “Masquerade” for George Benson, a famous jazz guitarist and Billy Preston’s “Go Round in circles” (the fifth Beatle).
My father liked Roy Clark’s “Yesterday when I was Young”. Great memories indeed. ❤️🙏🏻🌹🥀🍁

I was so happy to see that you were visiting Leon's grave today! He's one of my all time favorite musicians, and sadly unappreciated by many for his huge influence and contributions to music. He was who Elton John looked up to and wanted to be like! If you've never seen the video of Elton's speech inducting Leon Russell into the Hall Of Fame, it's well worth the watch. Y'all enjoy the rest of your trip and stay safe! ✌️

What an amazing Vlog. There was so much content and all of it great. In all your videos you manage to create the illusion that we (the viewer) are walking next to you as you explore the territory. With this Road trip, it's as though we are actually inside the car, and experiencing the journey across a landscape that is picturesque, quirky, beautiful and surprising (we loved the Blue Whale). Many thanks for sharing this road trip. Safe travels.

I was under the impression Mr Ed retired to a celebrity animal sanctuary in Galt Calif. This is where Ms Kitty (Gunsmoke) spent her last days. She was a huge supporter of animals. After she came down with Aides she lost everything so the sanctuary in Galt let her stay there for free. My mom worked in a restaurant in town and she would buy Amanda Blake's breakfast when ever she came in.

I love all these interesting places you find! That burger looked delicious! Roy Clark used to play at a corner bar across the street from where I lived called 4 Seasons back during the Hee Haw days. Other big names were Buck Owens and Johnny Cash. It was a small bar but they loved playing there.

I interviewed Arthur Lubin who directed and produced almost all of the Mr. Ed episodes. Ed's real name was Bamboo Harvester. I tried to get Arthur to tell me how they made Ed "talk." "Well," a parrot talks, doesn't it?" said Arthur. Ed's voice was provided by former "B" cowboy star Rocky Allan Lane.
