Everson Gillmouth was her pen pal/ boyfriend that she killed. He was my grandpa's uncle (his mother and Everson were siblings). She did not bury him in the backyard. She had her handyman build her a large wooden box for "junk and stuff." She put Everson's body in that box and dumped it on a riverbank. He was not identified for 3 years. She wrote his family letters the whole time saying he was too ill to keep in contact himself.

@@Erin_Coke so... Are you implying that this storyline is misleading or false?
And, if you know factually, that it is misleading or false. I would strongly urge you, to push TH-cam into removing it from their platform.
It's the same sort of thing with OJ simpson, related to, or tied into this story. I don't think he had anything to do with burials, in the backyard of any house. I don't care if you like or don't like OJ Simpson. This story is straight up and down slander.
And the person who posted this, needs to be sued in court. And then it needs to be removed.

The thing with quite a few casual visitors reminds me of a Neil Young story. Lots of folks visit Neil's teenage home in Winnipeg. The homeowners are cool and accommodating about showing people around. Bob Dylan visited anonomously. Homeowners figured him out and asked his companion about him. Dylan broke his incognito, had a nice convo with with the homeowners and fanboyed out over Neil's room. 'Neil wrote his first songs here!'

Very instresting story.Thank you Jordan for showing the actual house. Its a beautiful Victorian lol. I saw an A&E documentary on the boarding house murderer. Seemed like she was so good at lying and manipulating that she got her unknowingly gardener to do most of the labor. He dug all the holes and after she buried the body the gardener would come back and pour concrete and build a shed or outdoor building on the grave. If you've ever seen the 60s movie, "What ever Happened to Aunt Alice" with Geraldine Page, it's strange the similarities of the story.

I am from Sacramento, California and lived about a mile from Dorothea's house. My grandma lived 3 houses down on the same block, F Street. My grandma was the landlord of the apartments. Also, my grandma was selling her homemade tamales every week. Dorothea would buy 10 dozen tamales every week. I actually went inside the Victorian house with my grandma to deliver the tamales. I remember the kitchen was huge with white cabinets. Me, I was 10 years old, and my mother had to help my grandma make the tamales My grandma wondered how she had so much money all the time. Dorothea was very friendly person, one would never think she was so evil. Dorothea was a great actress, no one would ever suspect she was killing people. It was unbelievable. As a child, Dorothea had this gleem in her eyes like she was looking at your soul. It was kind of spooky. As I got older, I came to understand that people looked at one in this certain way when they were sizing you up. My grandma and mom went with her to a club. She got kicked out of the club for having written bad checks. She asked my mom if she wanted to move into the house and my mom said "No." My mom and father were divorced. Then Dorothea was trying to ask my dad out, he was 15 years younger than her. He told me he got a bad feeling about her. Dorothea wasn't a pretty woman, but was charming and had a good personality. After all the media coverage, for the next 6 months 1000's of people came to see the scene everyday. I had to visit my grandma in the evening because there was so many people on the block. I was 18 years old when this happened. We as a family interacted with a serial murderer.

🤣😂😂That mannequin on the porch! That reminds me of way back in the mid 80s, we had a mannequin and we put a wig on it dressed it up fix it up and set it up the enclosed porch at the table. So when people would go by the screened porch they would see and it looked like somebody was sitting there with the little radio going you don’t have an a cup of coffee or tea!😂😂😂 we got a real kick out of the people that would come by and stop and try to talk to the mannequin but the mannequin wouldn’t respond! Sometimes we would be in the background and be watching and say little things and they would think it was the mannequin! We had some hilarious times, gluing corners to sidewalks etc.! This just takes me back for a moment!😂😂
Now I guess I better go watch the rest of the video!

Wow, such a devious she-devil! Those poor people. At least she got hers in the end. On a lighter note, beautiful scenery! Mountains and streams are beautiful 😍. There's beauty everywhere in this world.

I don't see anyone mentioning that recently this house was on Murder House Flip. I see the swing set installed & the recent outside upgrades.

The judges daughter is a comedian that is the newest Jackass movie, Rachel Wolfson, and in her stand up comedy act she has a joke that her mom was the woman who sentenced OJ simpson..

She looked so much older than she was, even when she wasn't taking her teeth out and pretending. That's one thing I notice about evil people, they almost always look 20 years older than what they are. The evil must just suck the life out of them somehow. Hard living .... Beautiful scenery starting after the Dorothea case. We don't have that around where I live. Nothing pretty to look at.

If you like tunnels like that there is one near us in Jim Thorpe PA, also I think his story would fit with the show for what he did for native actors in his time compared to his more known accomplishments.

You are right Jim Thorpe PA would be a good place to visit. And share his story! We were there 17 years ago and I thought it was very charming.

Welll. Just. Wow. This woman took her crimes, and developed them into a private burial business. She was thinking way too far and wide outside the box. She kept on going and never looked back. Complete nightmare of a sci-fi living nutball. This place is a strange murderous burial ground that she created. Crazy Jordan! Interesting.
