Wish you could have shown your fixes as i just bought the android 13 for cheap off ebay.

Hello. Honestly my major fix was a new power harness from the seller. It was a faulty harness causing the random shutoffs.

Sorry for your experience, but the fact that you brought the unit via eBay should have nothing to do with your issues.... Assuming you wired everything correctly, the biggest issue I see is a lack of RAM... the 2 gigs of RAM is working extremely hard to support the system - hence the excessive heat it's putting out. In my opinion, a minimum of 4 gigs would had made a huge difference. 🤓

Oh I know. That's what I said in the video. As a computer science major the Minimum 4gb should've been what they put.
But We actually solved the problem. The issue was the power cable had loose wiring. Which I actually suspected as well since I constantly had to play with the wiring Every time it shut off .
They sent a new harness in and it's running perfect now!☺️

They actually do sell a 4g/64g one for not a crazy amount more.
There is also a 6g/128g one that I've seen listed.
Without a doubt, I'm positive you are already aware that these already use about 2gb of ram for basic functionality, which isn't including navigation or anything that could add to a worse lag.
      I just purchased a 4gb/64gb nav/radio. They also sell a 6g/128g one.
I don't mess with anything other than GPS and playing music on TH-cam, not playing video or anything like that.
Should I worry about experiencing any sort of lag or anything? I'd honestly prefer none at all, but a half of a second lag won't kill me, lol.
      Thanks

@@davidrivera. I did notice the other models that were available later on. That was my mistake for not searching deeper. Truthfully with the 2G ran model I own, I don't experience any lag. It's pretty snappy. Maybe a little hiccup with the android auto but other than that, it's very responsive.

Hey guys, mines fully installed but I can’t setup the steering wheel controls, and when I play music in my CarPlay in CPlink it just pauses and my speakers don’t work when I’m in CarPlay, but radio works when I’m off it? Help would be really appreciated

Honestly the radio in the video isn't a bad radio. After getting a new power harness it runs perfectly. So if you search around on eBay you'll find similar ones. If I had to recommend specs,
-4gbs RAM minimum, not 2 like the one I have. I'm having no issues with 2gb . But the more the better. I saw 6gb RAM as well on eBay.
-as much memory as possible. Mine is 32gb. But once again, the more the better. But I doubt you'll be installing crazy amount of apps and stuff on a radio 🤣.
      Hope this helps.
