    Most HR managers are terrible at recruitment: it's a completely different skills-set to all other aspects of HR which is heavily admin focused and not sales. Beware of TA's as they will often work against you: claim they have received cv/ already on their db or delay your candidate in order to prioritize their own candidates since they are paid to reduce dependency on external agencies with some exceptions of very large corporates using RPO services.

    Thank you Kadz. Question - do you find better results from 1) Linked In messaging, or 2) direct email?

    Really appreciate the content, thanks so much for sharing. I'm a software developer with 15 years experience, very current and understand the technology well. I understand the corporate world and am currently researching the prospect of being a technical role recruitment consultant. It's looking like a promising option and quite exciting. Do you offer mentorship/consultancy? Shows that providing useful content and providing it for free really works. Top job. Looking forward to speaking with you. Cheers.

    In your experience what has been most fruitful for you in terms of winning new business- contacting the hiring manager or HR/Talent. Always unsure which approach is best.

    • @kadzmoney
      @kadzmoney  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Without a doubt. HR, talent aquisitions, operations directors or managers, ceos/MDs and then direct hiring managers in that order roughly speaking.

    Hi Kadz. I think your content is fantastic. My question is as follows. How did you prepare for GDPR within a recruitment business.

    I'm still binge watching lol. I too was raised in the business on "cold call, cold call, cold call". Call blocks, call planning, etc. I'm in the US. Does your "2-8 rule" hold over here as well from what you've seen out of your students?

      99% of the time it would be HR/ internal recruitment at manager level.

    Hello bro I love all Ur videos & suggestions but I would like to ask you a question like why are you disclosing all your business tactics to other recruiters & at the same time making competitors I just don't get this.....can u please explain.....I hope this is not a rude question just curious to know about it

    • @kadzmoney
      @kadzmoney  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Very good questions. There are tons of businesses that need help. I can't support them all. I'd rather us guys do it then the big companies.
      Nothing wrong with helping people.
      I don't regard anybody as competition

      Because he is not making that much money from recruitment obviously. Tell me one business owner on TH-cam teaching people their methods of how they put food on the table for their family😂. You won’t find any. Furthermore I’m interested to know Kadz best recruitment company number to see his revenue on companies house.

    Would it be smart at the beginning to search for the oldest job post of companies to maybe have a better rate of success in getting clients?

    • @kadzmoney
      @kadzmoney  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very good question! I did try to work it out... but its like hard to quantify. Some 'new' jobs might actually be reposts so its hard to tell.

      I use linkedin but I get many unanswered messages and links to connect. I 99% of the time personalize the connection requests.

    Can I ask a question about automating. You said that when automating emails, there's a greater risk that it'll go through to their spam folder. What kind of automation are you referring to? Only, I wrote some code in VBA to send multiple emails from Outlook to contractors, but how would it know that the process was automated? I'm basically getting VBA to do the same as what I'd do manually, but much faster! I think I've only been aware of it going to their spam folder twice, but perhaps it happened more frequently, and neither of us knew. I'd be interested to understand more. Many thanks.

    How much education should you do before you actually start the business? Is much education required to make ends meet in recruiting?

    Hi Kadz, I have a question. How do you convince a client to do business with you without actually having candidates ready to offer? What’s the best way to get a client and then try to source the candidate once they’ve signed your agreement? TIA
