To me, latency is one of the most important specs one can know about a product like this… and you’re the only one who is really illuminating this subject. Much appreciated, sir
Thank you Leo for your latency tests, it puts the spotlight on one of the most important aspect of a modeler, besides sound quality of course. I wonder if you can change from one patch to another without having the sound cut off with this unit.
You are welcome and I'm happy that you appreciate the video. Actually I have not yet tested if the unit is gapless or not...maybe in the coming weeks. Thank you!
Ottimo video, come sempre, carissimo Leo. Vorrei esporre una mia considerazione. Ho iniziato a suonare la chitarra e cantare nei locali, nel 1970. Come ben sai all'epoca, l'impianto voci era dedicato solo al canto.
I haven't noticed any real world latency issues with mine in live playing (at home) as opposed to recording. Maybe these tiny increments are what contributes to the difference between playing straight into an amp. I haven't used the amp or cab models yet because I'm using as a stomp chain into my amp. Thanks for raising this issue.
@@LeoGibsonGtr That comparisson would be great considering that latest firmware update on NUX MG30 (v5.02) added some key features. I appreciate the effort and time you put on this videos. I am constantly trying new modelers and multieffects and your channel is 99% of what I consider to make a decission before buying.
hi, i just got it im plugging into the lap and in the DAW it does appear as connected but it says the hardware its set up to midi or something and the app doesnt read it it says device not connected can you help me? please! and there is a function in the global settings says in out A.Gt or E Gt which one? what is that?
Hi, A Gt is for acoustic guitar, E.Gt is for electric guitar. As regards the connections problem...I don't know, I'm sorry. I have a Mac and I was able to connect it without problem. Maybe if you use a windows pc, you need the drivers....but it is better if you ask directly to sonicake. THanks!

I get You there leo and it's pretty hard to take a choice by just hearing the pedal boards throght a screen altough all My circle of partners Say me something diferentt that soniccake sucks or that pod go sucks My trust music vendor told me that just head for a mooer or a joyo cuz they re like the leaders right now about mult fx for me and what i want it's pretty difficult to choose cuz i play guitar on a church but i like metal to so just tryna search for something that last me for a while and sound good

I do agree with you, it's an important aspect!
Thank you for sharing and I'm happy that you appreciate the video!
You are the best for the latency test. Perfecto!
Thank you so much!!!
I never buy something digital before listenning what you have to say about the product !
Thank you so much for such an amazing compliment!!!
@@LeoGibsonGtr what you are doing put pressure on units makers to offer us better products.
Keep on ! 😁
Thanks!!!
Excellent video, thank you
As I would be using the effects loop, the latency is too high for my use.
Matribox II Pro is no longer an option.

Hello Leo!! Would love to see this unit compared to the GP200 with the new 1.6.3 firmware update!! Thanks for the video as always!
You are welcome and thank you for your suggestion!
I need a second life to make all these comparisons.... :)

If I'll give you option to choose between mg30 and this. Which you'll pick.
Hi, it would be an hard choice....I need to do a direct comparison to answer properly...maybe in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your suggestion!

Hmm I really wish they could improve the latency a little bit... Over 5ms is a bit iffy for me.
Thank you for sharing!

Troppa latenza per me!!!
Can it be corrected with an update?
Yes, an update can improve / reduce the latency.
