I live in the Bronx so I could technically go to some of these places but I'm legit too broke to afford most of these places so I enjoy vicariously through you two. 😅
Yay! I’m 1/4 Georgian and I loooove their cuisine! Great videos and very delicious food! Also for everyone who’s wondering: take a very small bite out of khinkali. If they are made correctly there will be a looot of broth. So you have to be extra careful!)
Thank you for your videos. When I visit New York City, it’s always difficult to find good places. I will definitely keep some of your suggestions on my list for my next visit.
Is it…is it really? Cause I like cheese as much as the next person….but that wasn’t melted cheese on top of something else….but really just a ton of melted cheese…the raw egg..also no thank you
Actually it's the first time I see the egg raw in adjarian khachapuri. Usually they put it back in the oven for a couple of minutes so egg is still soft, but not 100% raw. @@maryd3779
Oh my god, that looks freaking incredible. New cuisine to add to my list of foreign cuisines that I've never tried because I'm an ignorant American, lol. Was just recently introduced to Indian cuisine from the internet. Life changing.
Ooh. I've never seen that method for shaping Khachapuri. Usually, I see people roll it round and just rolling the edges inward and pinch the ends. But this method makes so much sense in getting the perfectly shaped middle and it seems like it would prevent the bottom from getting too soggy.
Thank you for your great work/videos... Georgian cuisine is as diverse as Georgian culture, Georgian folklore, Georgian music from different regions (Samegrelo, Guria, Kakheti, Adjara, Svaneti, Kartli, Imereti, etc.) of Georgia, a country in the Black Sea region of Europe in the Caucasus... if I was facing execution, this would be my last meal. And lots of it!!! Like I'm going to worry about a heart attack😂😂😂 BTW, I've been to Georgia, they have some super awesome lamb recipes
I've been to Georgia a couple of times, my favorite dish is kupati. My favorite khinkhali is potato. I never heard anyone describe khachapuri as light, it's delicious but heavy. I never finished one myself.
You guys really love cheese in the US :D I would recommend to consume less and higher quality cheese. In Italy or France they breed cows specifically to get the best milk for cheese. In the US unfortunately all the milk that is not good enough for drinking becomes cheese..
That's a lot of cheese!!! Everything Looks amazing.
Super
More cheese doesn't make the food better
I don't think so @@Houlque
