"How to change region on Steam?" With Valve tightening its location restrictions, users are left wondering how to access their selection of worldwide games. Today I'll show you how to change Steam region with a VPN, so you can fix that problem, and even access prices otherwise out of reach.
Similar to popular streaming platforms, Steam also offers games that are only available in certain regions. As you can see, the prices and game options change with each country, and the only way to unlock it is to change the location with a Steam VPN.
Before I show you how to change Steam region, know that even with a VPN there are a few caveats to keep in mind.
Firstly, Steam only allows you to change your region or currency once every three months. This also means that you’ll only be allowed to use a payment option from the country you’ve switched to. So before committing to a new location, it’s best to top up your Steam wallet, and of course, make sure that you have enough money in there to last the entire three months.
The next important factor when switching Steam locations is, you’ll need an address and a zip code of the country you’re switching to. My advice is to use a random address generator, which can easily be found online. Or if you happen to know someone abroad, using their address would also work.
Remember, Steam’s Terms of Service does allow the use of a VPN in order to protect your privacy and identity, however, they strictly prohibit using one just to access cheaper prices. Doing this puts you at risk of having your account suspended, so it’s best to not take advantage of their system.
One final factor to keep in mind, switching your Steam location could potentially affect any multiplayer games. It’s best to check with your friends beforehand to make sure you’ll still be able to participate, even after a location change.

It all depends on the countries involved. if the price difference is greater then 10%, you cannot gift it. In most cases, there are no region restrictions on products purchased directly from the Steam store. However, products purchased as gifts may have region restrictions.

I've heard instead of adding a billing address for that country, you can redeem a steam gift card for that country and skip on adding a billing address entirely, how true is that?

I really just want to find a VPN that will enable me to play American server FF14 and to play any server of any kind of FF Ever Crisis while in South Korea. if you got banned that mean your whole steam account got banned and you cant login to that account again but 90% you won't get banned
you will get banned only on social, so you keep all the games you have, and even play them with friends who already was in your friendlist. i got myself a ban. but was doing other stuff such as having multi accounts for other game to sell ingame wallet there. so in sort answer all of the accounts got banned cuz was connected via mastercard and gift card etc... yet i playing games :P

Because of likes of you, Steam removes local pricing in Turkey and Argentina. There are a lot to say to you, but it seems like you lack of basic ethical values to understand why this is bad for ones in Turkey and Argentina.
