      Idk if it's just me but for 65M dollars this house looks so "empty". I mean i would love to live in there, but almost every single house they show i feel like for half the price you could have a better house, like cut the bathroom numbers by half , and you still have 9 bathrooms, wich is more than enough, cut by half the numbers of the living rooms and stuff like that... Because at some point the house is not pratical when you need to walk 2 miles to get to a certain place, kkkkk.
      The pool is so ridiculus big, why not make it small but with some "waterfalls" or some "weird perks" like the pools that guy on discovery channel does the Pool Master?
      I know that at some point you are so rich that more=better, but still, from one room to master room is 61 steps , my house (counting backyard) is not that big, and we are 5 people living in it xD
      Still an amazing house, and i would love to live there, but im allaways here watching every video in the hopes to find the perfect house. I guess the closest one so far is Howie Mandel's house. Not too big , not too small, no "waste" of space. its just like what i would like to have in a house.

      @Zethy 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @Harvey Grant No one deserves this. Not unless everyone can. The person who buys it may be lovely. But I personally don't believe that while people starve such indulgence is being ignorant of their suffering.

    • @Zethy
      @Zethy 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @Harvey Grant Sadley it is a rich people problem. Not entirely but predominantly. The way society is built has been a growing appeasement of these people as their influence grows. Their growing influence is shown by the drastic rise of the gini coefficient. Class systems are quite rigid and that won't change. Trying to help this through governmental policy such as bills etc is the way to change it. But "and especially in America" politics is money and the top 1% of rich being in control of 80% of americas wealth and over 50% of its stocks. They effectively own it. Lobbied bills done in the US have around a 33% chance of passing irregardless of opinion rather than being proportional as desired. Lobbied bills involving corporations have a closer level of proportionality. So when you look to your local government I want your onterage of billionaires behind you to push the bill through. Not likely as they want to keep their wealth. In the current climate without morals observing the fact that owning such wealth is morally wrong. The effort and work put in is marginal in most cases due to a lot of the top 1%'s wealth remaining in families. No one deserves it irregardless of how hard or not hard they worked. They should be allowed to be wealthy. But billionaires have a scale of wealth that is in comprehend able which is fine I guess. I'm not bothered by that. But morally choosing to use that wealth to indulge like that is morally wrong.

    • @Zethy
      @Zethy 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @Harvey Grant I can't change your mind evidently. Or with evidence I present. So I'll implor you to look into global wealth distribution trends, lobbying and the rise of the gini coefficient. I'll then ask grasping at your humanity to defend the insane amount of wealth collected by these individuals. Targeting how the democratic system for America is run an oligarchy of the rich and corporations. I say now that nothing I have said has been false. And my main argument being from a moral basis rather than you quoting the first line I wrote and abruptly trying to have make me lose face. I have nothing against the rich. But I have a problem when humans start buying super yachts and mega mansions while extreme poverty exists.

    21:00 is a presentation room. The electrical outlets in the floor are to provide power to laptops, etc that would be situated on tables above those spots. A speaker would give a presentation in front of the screen. The closet is for guest jackets and the bar is for catered food/self-serve snacks and refreshments to sit on the counter.

      @Harvey Grant gyms don't have carpets because carpets will absorb the moisture of sweat and start to stink. Also, carpets will get snagged by gym equipment and ruined quickly.

    • @viksra
      @viksra 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      @Harvey Grant gyms don't have bars and closets for jackets, nor do they have carpets unless you want the place to stink and be very hot. I'm in New York. You ask what else it could be, but I already answered that in my original post. A house like this, that is meant for entertaining and inviting guests, would use that room for presentations or as a "war room" for the Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant. Gyms are usually not on the second floor of homes as to not create booming noises that would reverberate to the ceiling of floors below, and also due to the weight that would be in a gym room. If you are correct in it being a gym, I would be very surprised that it is. Of course, the room is really whatever the owner decides to make of it.

    • @peptoquizmal
      @peptoquizmal 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a gym. Check out the house next door. 10701 Bellagio Rd. It's almost the same design and the other house has gym equipment in it. On carpet.

    • @MrTamir8
      @MrTamir8 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nah dude it’s a poorly designed GYM... the bar is not for alcohol, it’s for Water/protein drinks/energy drinks/coffee. The bathroom is there for obvious reason, and the closet is for sport equipment... The carpet is just a poor design choice, but not an uncommon one... Another reason for having a closet there is because technically this is a bedroom suite, so if one decides they don’t want a gym, they can turn it back into a bedroom...

    Other people have toured the same house in the last year, and it still sits for sale. Homes like these have a really hard time selling for 2 reasons. Number 1 is the price. It doesn't necessarily mean there isn't anyone in the world that can't afford to buy it, it just means there are other large homes out there for half the price. And number 2 is the size of the home. Even for wealthy people who like to entertain a lot, most of them find homes of this size to be a little bit Overkill and a lot of useless unused spaces. On top of that your yearly taxes can be close to a million dollars. Which is why homes just like this in LA and the surrounding cities sit on the market for years and years.

    I’ve seen so many expensive homes that don’t have functional kitchens. You would think any home that costs over 10M would have restaurant quality chefs kitchens. This kitchen has no gas stove or overhead ventilation. Even if that doesn’t jive with the designers vision, a home like this should have a restaurant kitchen hidden in the back. Michael, Why do expensive homes often not have great kitchens?
