as a funny thought, you could have clown ears be like snake ears where they're all internal and while they don't hear sound traveling through air as well, they hear vibrations very keenly.
And that could be why an opera was such a big deal for them too, lmao. It's air sound they hear really well because of all the echo.

I love your work. I always vibed so much with your animations and music. Now I understand why. I'm also a big WEEN fan and a Tom Waits fan (which I saw you reference in that skeleton video.) and as a teen I really wanted to get into animation but never ended up doing it. It's ok though, I have other things going on now and that dream will live on vicariously through your excellent videos.
On another note I'm glad Bigtop is getting one final season. Sounds like the perfect length for this short and comfy show. Can't wait to see how this all comes together and where you go from there! Congrats on 1mil!
