I love the idea that Steve ate that burger and it was the most transformative moment of his life. He ate it and knew that a food truck serving burgers was his calling.
Not to undercut that moment, but I think getting ejected from the most important performance in Clown History might be slightly more formative. And I do mean slightly, like the burger was a big deal still.

So that certainly explains the way Tim is about Steve and his shenanigans throughout the series: perpetually weirded out but still supportive. From his perspective, the latter is just some strange homeless guy (possibly with some kinda dementia or amnesia, as he looked very confused about a lot of things) who got attached to him and became rather fixated enough on the burgers to start working together.

Have you seen Fleming's channel? I don't think the whole "how extra" convo would even be necessary. He would've just seen a mic lying around, heck, a tp roll, and not asked, he'd EXTRA himself so hard his monologues can't even fit in the final cut, and we can only see glimpses of it by the after credit. TLDR: Someone who says "albatross across your clavicle" ain't need no direction to be extra.
I love how alot of the dialogue is improv- the jokes just land so perfectly and dont feel off- theres just an utter perfect sense of absurdity in the deliveries I want to eat this show.
The original is actually a different subject entirely, and as stated previously it's only distorted in mono (a lot of people noticing the issue were using the feature on their phone that flattens all the audio into one channel, for example to use a single earbud)
Never realized how big of a guy Conrad was until seeing that artwork at 17:57, he is just so massive. Also I do hope to see more of him in the future he is my favorite character so far in BigTop Burger.
My absolute favourite thing ever is when seemingly silly and innocuous shows get more lore as they go on. Steve's whole plot in the final episode was so good!!! Loved this season!
All of the Cesare outtakes are pure gold. "I'm gonna pull the e-brake" and "ZANG, Doctor, what is that, possum meat?" are going to be in my head for a WHILE.
Someone may think that Cesare being “the albatross across your clavicle” is simply some random mixture of words, but it is in fact a direct reference to Samuel Taylor Cooleridge’s The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The mariner in the poem is punished for shooting an albatross by his crew mates by being forced to wear it across his neck. Your clavicles are at the base of your neck, and a bird with such a long wingspan would surely rest over your clavicles were you draped in it. Cesare is out to catch Steve and punish him for something, and thus when he catches him, by draping him with heavy weights no less, he becomes the “albatross” across Steve’s “clavicle”. Yes I spent way too much time writing this

Yknow when this series first began, I thought Tim was the most normal of them all. Now I think he's actually the strangest. It's a subtle madness, but mad nonetheless.

Figured I'd comment on the most recent video. This has to be some of the best content I've ever found on youtube. The concept is just so creative and everything in your style is just the right combo of cozy and mysterious.
Same, hopefully only a year or two until the next full season video. Honestly don't care how long it takes these peeps are making quality stuff right here. Excellent voice acting, Thrilling soundtrack, unique yet somewhat familiar animation style. & most importantly, an engaging storyline and dynamic character development. This is what happens when someone with passion and drive has full creative control over their project. Can't wait to see what this show will be like in 10 years time.
the whiplash that this series has from going to "teehee silly" to "oh shit it's actually serious???" in 0.5 seconds is one of my favorite things on Earth tbh
Can't really explain what's up with this series and why it resonates so hard, but it's definitely not 'one single thing'. There's an infinite amount of soul embedded into it, it's hilarious, relatable, weird in a VERY good way, jokes hit hard, silly things hit just right, the pace, the tunes, the music... Can't wait for more already.
FOR REAL!! I think there will be a season 3 judging by the 2nd piece of art at the credits, like foreshadowing or something. I think Munkustrap is gonna come to earth to find Steve. Maybe after a falling out of the planet, or maybe just because lol.
I know we don't see Tim's entire perspective, but I like to believe that he saw Steve crawl out of the ground and cough up rocks, but still just thought he was a strange and funny little guy.

Regularly rewatching the series, I can’t help but think about what a tragic character Steve is. Especially if you apply the chronology of Steve’s life to human ones (clowns live for 1 billion years, it was in the Q&A). I mean at 7-8 years old (probably) he received his life's mission, purpose and all that. Then he prepared for the most important event of his life throughout his youth until the age of 25, but failed miserably due to a small mistake and was banished. He flew through space for 300 million years only to crash into the Earth and end up underground for many more millions of years. And when he came out, he was already over 50, he spent half his life preparing for the most important event ever, and the other half alone thinking about how he failed. Of course he will behave strangely, steal stoves, fight with deer and eat guitars, poor fellow😭😭😭
The Feliz Navidad gets me so much. The scene feels like culmination of two rivals who used to be good friends and know each other inside and out. So much gravitas.

im going to cry. seriously Worthi, this series has done so much for me and many other people. If your goal was to make art that uses current media in a fresh way, or inspire people to do the same, or just have fun making original content, I'll just say you've done all three and so much more. Props to you, and all the wonderful voice cast. You've all made something truly special.
Mr. Foodtruck basically doing burger alchemy is probably my favorite side gag in this series. Burger + Acid = Soda, which can then become burger again somehow. just so damn funny.

Also good on you redoing the panel, removing featureman AND animating bloopers. Watching this was so worth it
The whole sequence after "back on Broadway yet again" is wonderful, I've watched that segment over and over again, and l think it might be the best way possible to suddenly reveal deep and absurd lore. The stylized firmament behind circusworld, the simple tune slowly stuttering into being before being joined by a choir and then suddenly being replaced with the bass reverbrating all make it so magical. Thank you so much for making it so that l and others could experience it.
I don’t know which interpretation is funnier: that Andy Serkis is a supernatural being, or that he’s a normal human equally as threatening as a supernatural being
God those outtakes have sealed it for me - Chris Fleming IS Cesare. Even the stuff that’s off script is so clearly in character that if I hadn’t seen it before I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference. Props to Worthi for writing Cesare just for Chris and props to Chris for fucking killing it.
This is legitimately my favorite series. I like it more than any "official" TV shows. All of the characters are so well-written, and the animation is insanely satisfying. Also, I'm crying laughing by the end of every episode.

Easily my favorite little series here on this platform, the animation style's charm, the quality voice acting and the whimsical atmosphere of these burger adventures is just a joy for the eyes ^.^ Eagerly awaiting Season Three and the 1 million sub milestone for ya!
The lines are always so lovely, that one part with Cesare and Dr got me so good "Dr, collect some samples, we need more bad food idea's" "Im well ahead of you sir" "WOOOAH!" So simple, yet so funny, never change, especially for that season 3!

@@moonstone4832 i'd ask how anyone in upper management knows about clown planet and its people, but the painting at 18:00 implies that the clown people will visit the burger crews and likely have been to earth before or have been part of the larger intergalactic/supernatural community for some time and have been considered to be dangerous. their devotion to the arts and the level of detail they put into their work on clown planet gives me the impression that they are very calculated in their crafts, so maybe they knew that they banished Steve to Earth as opposed to the Earth just being where he so happened to have landed. idk though, i'm just speculating with what we've been shown

Have you seen Fleming's channel? I don't think the whole "how extra" convo would even be necessary. He would've just seen a mic lying around, heck, a tp roll, and not asked, he'd EXTRA himself so hard his monologues can't even fit in the final cut, and we can only see glimpses of it by the after credit.
TLDR: Someone who says "albatross across your clavicle" ain't need no direction to be extra.

The original is actually a different subject entirely, and as stated previously it's only distorted in mono (a lot of people noticing the issue were using the feature on their phone that flattens all the audio into one channel, for example to use a single earbud)
Never realized how big of a guy Conrad was until seeing that artwork at 17:57, he is just so massive. Also I do hope to see more of him in the future he is my favorite character so far in BigTop Burger.

My absolute favourite thing ever is when seemingly silly and innocuous shows get more lore as they go on. Steve's whole plot in the final episode was so good!!! Loved this season!
the best part is that his backstory has been hinted the whole time in the season 1 theme Up. This was very intentional.

All of the Cesare outtakes are pure gold. "I'm gonna pull the e-brake" and "ZANG, Doctor, what is that, possum meat?" are going to be in my head for a WHILE.
Someone may think that Cesare being “the albatross across your clavicle” is simply some random mixture of words, but it is in fact a direct reference to Samuel Taylor Cooleridge’s The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
The mariner in the poem is punished for shooting an albatross by his crew mates by being forced to wear it across his neck. Your clavicles are at the base of your neck, and a bird with such a long wingspan would surely rest over your clavicles were you draped in it. Cesare is out to catch Steve and punish him for something, and thus when he catches him, by draping him with heavy weights no less, he becomes the “albatross” across Steve’s “clavicle”.

“Albatross around your neck” is also an idiom in English that…I thought was commonly known, but I guess it’s old-fashioned.
don't forget that the reason for being punished is that the albatross would have led the ship to land, so killing it meant they all would die lost at sea.

Can't really explain what's up with this series and why it resonates so hard, but it's definitely not 'one single thing'.
There's an infinite amount of soul embedded into it, it's hilarious, relatable, weird in a VERY good way, jokes hit hard, silly things hit just right, the pace, the tunes, the music...
Can't wait for more already.

He also put out a casting call for voice actors a while after UP came out, so it’s safe to say that season 3 is in the works.

One of my favorite things about this show is the music. Watching it in this format made me realize how much the music doesnt just support the general vibe of the show but also the storytelling. Also drove me to look it up and IAN MAKES THE MUSIC!?

Regularly rewatching the series, I can’t help but think about what a tragic character Steve is. Especially if you apply the chronology of Steve’s life to human ones (clowns live for 1 billion years, it was in the Q&A). I mean at 7-8 years old (probably) he received his life's mission, purpose and all that. Then he prepared for the most important event of his life throughout his youth until the age of 25, but failed miserably due to a small mistake and was banished. He flew through space for 300 million years only to crash into the Earth and end up underground for many more millions of years. And when he came out, he was already over 50, he spent half his life preparing for the most important event ever, and the other half alone thinking about how he failed. Of course he will behave strangely, steal stoves, fight with deer and eat guitars, poor fellow😭😭😭
Worthikids is the best animator on this platform. I love every single little thing he makes.
I think umami is up there with him. Both amazing in their own right.

im going to cry. seriously Worthi, this series has done so much for me and many other people. If your goal was to make art that uses current media in a fresh way, or inspire people to do the same, or just have fun making original content, I'll just say you've done all three and so much more. Props to you, and all the wonderful voice cast. You've all made something truly special.
Mr. Foodtruck basically doing burger alchemy is probably my favorite side gag in this series. Burger + Acid = Soda, which can then become burger again somehow. just so damn funny.

The whole sequence after "back on Broadway yet again" is wonderful, I've watched that segment over and over again, and l think it might be the best way possible to suddenly reveal deep and absurd lore. The stylized firmament behind circusworld, the simple tune slowly stuttering into being before being joined by a choir and then suddenly being replaced with the bass reverbrating all make it so magical. Thank you so much for making it so that l and others could experience it.

God those outtakes have sealed it for me - Chris Fleming IS Cesare. Even the stuff that’s off script is so clearly in character that if I hadn’t seen it before I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference. Props to Worthi for writing Cesare just for Chris and props to Chris for fucking killing it.
This is legitimately my favorite series. I like it more than any "official" TV shows. All of the characters are so well-written, and the animation is insanely satisfying. Also, I'm crying laughing by the end of every episode.
