I love the Macca but I discovered 2 things about it (one of them just today). It doesn't like a lot of trail braking. And it's got a good amount of diff preload so it really wants to turn under throttle.
Nice to see we have both done GT4 at Road America this week Dave. Of course I was slugging it out in a bottom split race in the Falken Tyre Sports Car Challlenge but I still enjoyed it. Keep it up. 👍

Hey Mark sorry for the delay in replying but I've been away for a few days with the Mrs. The tracks that are used quite often are Road America, Spa and Wakins Glen, so you will get good value buying those three.

How did you not get track cut when you went off track in the first laps? I’ve barely clipped across a corner apex and get the give back the time message and even though it says 1 sec. The result on track can be 4 to 5

I am mainly interested in GT series cars. I notice you have 2 pedals one for each rig. Can I ask, what would you recommend for a GT car. I heard the Heusinkveld Ultimate+ is a great pedals set. I'm relearning racecraft etc but hope to be fast enough to run with the P4 - p5 guys. Stay safe my friend we live in troubling times

I'm really sad on how the license system works on iRacing, pushing me aside from series like this. I enjoy the cars, enjoy the Falken multiclass, but it's very hard to race against D licenses that have nothing to lose even with 20 incidents on a race like this, against people that also want to race on IMSA and need their A license and can't have more than 1 or 2 incident points on the same race. I still think that each series or car type should have their own license. People would diversify a lot more. What do you think Dave?
On the start of the last lap, the spotter said you used half your fuel. Was the weight of the excess fuel making it more difficult to drive compared to others?

Yes the Ultimates are great but I'd recommend the Simgrade VX Pro pedals which are much cheaper 👍

It’s a third party app called race labs that displays that info, it’s free but some additional features require paid version

I'm new at sim racing. It's so hard lol. I have the worst peddles in history maybe that's why. I do not know what settings to do. Confusing
