Does it still work fine after nearly a year? Likewise, have any of the other models failed on you after some time? Just curious about the durability of these controllers.
Does the D8 controller rumble or vibration work in CodM and other mobile games? If so pls how do you make it work? I tried Xbox mode and Mfi mode I just got mine and your videos actually geared me to get one and I just received it today.

I don't use that app often enough to know much about drift, I know that some devices don't handle on screen mapping well though so it could be your device in particular especially if it has a mediatek chip.
I would like a video where it shows you how to connect all these controllers in different modes, xbox, android, switch, xinput or whatever all the modes are
Oh okay cool I never looked into it but that's interesting, I found out with this one you can stop the light from cycling and keep it on the color. Or just turn them off plus the vibrate control is the same as the D6/7 which is nice as I find the vibrating a bit op.
I thought the same 🤣. Its a mixed feelings cause I really like the D6 becase it's smaller than the D8. I love the rgb lights, the analogs triggers and the placement of the shoulder bottoms of the D8 is perfect.
I'm not sure if I should go for the d8 or d6, there's a decent price difference here in my country between the two. What do you think? Is the d6 good enough, what am I even paying extra for with the d8? Thanks for responding.
The D6 is actually a really nice solid controller the only downside are the NONE hull effect triggers they're dome style clicks. Depending the price difference if that's your back draw I'd just pick the D6 as it was my go to for a while it's 20x better than the D3 by a long shot.
@@DNAMobileGaming Thanks for responding! The price fuctuates from 11-15 dollars (equivalent) for the d6 here, when I made the comment it was 10 US dollars but now it's closer to 15. If the price decreases again to the point it's half the price of the d8 I'll go for it but if the price difference is $5 then there's no reason to not get the higher end model lol. I hope they're not flimsy and would last at least a year.
Thanks 🙏🏾 I ordered it,I can’t wait to test it out,I want to compare with my Backbone plus when I get IPhone 16 later this year it should work automatically
Well the M1/M2 buttons on the D3 and the D9 only acted as secondary buttons for main buttons example if you wanted to set your A button to M1 you could and you R2 to M2 you could. There wasn't a huge benefit to the M1/M2 for these controllers to me unlike my Odin 2 the macro buttons (M1/M2) actually act as extra buttons.

You may need to map diagonals separately in some cases. I think it's just a thing with certain controllers or software/controller combos. I had the same issue with a an Xbox controller while emulating SNES on Windows.

Just know about the BSP D8 on AliExpress just now while scrolling😂. How does it compare to the Gamesir X2 Pro? I'm torn whether I wanted to keep the Gamesir X2 Pro or buy the BSP D8, since it got multiple mode for joystick connection.
Honestly I prefer Bluetooth controllers over USB C types. I know gamers might say there's latency issues but even playing COD Mobile on this I've not had any issues winning games. I'm not even the best either but I've had a lot of success with it. Also the fact that you don't have to download an app to configure other games unless it's Genshin Impact or PUBG etc, is amazing! @bensonfabonan I always forget about phones with that square style camera. Even the Redmagic is centered but not raised a ton. The thickness of the controller however should work well even if you wanted to do some sort of modification to it.

Mind you not sure if iPhones will fully work with later updates as it says up to 13 on the box but I don't own or plan to buy an iPhone any time soon.
Hi, i just bought the BSP D8 controller to use it with my iphone. The bluetooth paired, however it seems like not compatible with apps store game such as resident evil village and RE4. Do you any idea why is this? I used my ds4 controller it works fine with the game I mentioned
@@DNAMobileGaming no worries man. I figured it out. Initially Ive paired playstation ds4 controller with my iphone. When i connected the BSP D8, it did not show "Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller" instead show BSP D8. Once i removed the original DS4, only the I can use the BSP D8. Have playing RE Village, RE4 and GTA Vice City without any problem.
BSP has been around for a while I've never heard of that company though could be the same honestly they're all just Chinese sellers buying stuff and branding it.
Hello friend, I am Erdinç from Turkey. I brought 2 Bsp d8s from China for the first time. I am connecting them to K20pro via Bluetooth as Android, but it does not play any games, it seems connected, but what is the problem, can you help me?
Can u help me i bought one (totally different to what u have), this one does not work like a ps4 controller just android however i cannot map this on a emulator. So does this work on a emulator as if it were a ps4 controller where u just oress the buttons to map them and u dont use any overlay screen like the octopus? Is there any input delay i read some reviews it has some delay
The BSP D8 has multiple modes Xbox/Pro controller mode are the 2 main modes for Android meaning yes emulation would work for both. The V3 shooting plus mode works for games like PUBG that don't have native controller support.
Cloud gaming is all based on your WiFi, Internet Speed, and Phone/Tablet the bluetooth module built into the device isn't going to affect this if you're referring to input latency etc if all of the above scenarios are good.
@@DNAMobileGaming after using it for almost a week, its really a good upgrade to the d3, by the way if you hold power + A + Y, it will swap AB and XY which can come handy when using it on a nintendo switch or on yuzu(i tried it on xbox mode)
I definitely prefer it over the D6/7 model they're both really good though as I did a review of the D7 & I'd buy another D8 over a D7. Hope that helps!
Well the ribbon cable most likely only stretches so far which inside the back brace. I've taken a few of these controllers apart and they're all fairly similar in that regard.
Turn off force max clocks for Adreno only. This helps with a lot of heavily demanding games but it causes heat which it says in the warning. Depending on your device too you don't need that on generally I wish I didn't mention that part.
Well, well, well, I finally got my POSD8 today and not only is it the most difficult to get to work controller I have ever used with my iPhone, it also arrived in worn/used condition and not only that, they put it on my neighbors doorstep and then had the nerve to say "sign" as somebody signed for it. My neighbors didn't even know it was at their house?!?! Either way, I got the bastard!!! Yay!!! it pairs to the phone, easy enough!!!! Yay!!!! But doesn't work on anything?
@@DNAMobileGaming Gotnot working finally thanks to mentioning how to put in Xbox One Mode!! I kept trying the ways it said in the instructions before finally just being like "Screw it" and looking online and your was the first Vid! Much appreciated mate !
@DNAMobileGaming I did that and it still won't work. Any other tips? I've tried everything I could find except to unistall the game. Also mine is the bsp 6. Appreciate the help!
I have the D6/7 model as well you just need to press the WIFI symbol to connect to your phone, restart COD Mobile then it should recognize. First thing I tested was COD on both of these!
Depending on your phone which most phones/devices support 2 or more Bluetooth devices these days. I can use my headphones via Bluetooth and this controller at the same time!
It is a monumental fail when someone reviews one of these controls and doesnt at least do the dpad test with either contra or street fighter. those are the benchmarks for good dpads and many retro gamers base their purchases on a solid dpad. sadly most reviewers miss this. They only test first person shooters which are actually the easiest games to play without a controller and just a touch screen alone. massive fail.
I'm really not sure what you mean? There are different modes for the controller Xbox/Pro Controller/HID mode but for mapping your buttons that's based on the game or emulator. Unless you're talking about button swapping ABXY buttons?
The D6/7 is the same on the dpad side I did a review about it as well. The Analog triggers is what makes the D8 amazing plus it's thicker. I honestly can say I like both for their own reasons but the D8 I use more when I reach for the Bluetooth controller.
If the game has native vibration it just works as far as I can tell so far but with some emulators you can change the vibration motor (Dolphin for example) to use the controller instead of your phone!
Oh yes it can be used as a wired controller as well on the computer not sure about the phone because it would need an Xbox driver I'll have to give it a check later today!
It's definitely worth it for the price and ergonomics I won't be buying another controller for a while. Also my D7 models are great too but the D8 is the icing on the cake!

I only paid $16 but it didn't advertise it as being used ?! it looks like a kid had a habit of scratching with his fingernail between the buttons as he was waiting?
But I've not been able to figure out how to get it. Let me play Gamma, Delta or PPSSPP yet.
u think i can put a iphone 14 pro max in there? like comfortable with the camera bump or will it f it up? heard its bad when u have camera bumps
also, u think kontrol freeks on the thumbsticks would work? like idk nintendo switch kontrol freeks or the xbox version ones
Well I was able to almost fit my S22 Ultra in the controller with the thick case on it so I wouldn't see why the Square camera bump would cause any issue. Mind you not sure if iPhones will fully work with later updates as it says up to 13 on the box but I don't own or plan to buy an iPhone any time soon.
Are we going to get a bsp d8 vs gamesir g8 video?
Ha I was going to buy that G8 controller but I decided against it because I found out it's just another USB C controller sadly!
Hi, i just bought the BSP D8 controller to use it with my iphone. The bluetooth paired, however it seems like not compatible with apps store game such as resident evil village and RE4. Do you any idea why is this? I used my ds4 controller it works fine with the game I mentioned
Not sure sorry it says specifically that it's able to be used for certain iOS versions but I don't own an IPhone.
@nizamlotfi5865 oh nice sorry this response was so late I try to check all questions daily but comments get pushed a lot surprisingly 🤯
bsp d8 controller will work Xbox and Xbox game pass too
I have a tablet is a duod duogo is 10 inches
Can’t seem to get it to map buttons for Roblox sadly. Most of the buttons are ok but there’s a few I would like to change and not sure how to.
What mode is yours in?
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Came to the comments
To get me some shoe
D3 show mouse cursor, i can't use😢
Trying to decide on one of these or a dedicated android console...
I would get a dedicated console the Odin 2 Pro/Max models will not disappoint your needs!
Odin 2 has IPS screen.
I rather buy second hand android phone with oled screen and buy android controller.
Did they rebranded to majestech? Cause they look exactly the same
BSP has been around for a while I've never heard of that company though could be the same honestly they're all just Chinese sellers buying stuff and branding it.
@@DNAMobileGaming yeah probably. But the box is exactly the same the only thing that changes is this brand logo on the actual remote
Hello friend, I am Erdinç from Turkey. I brought 2 Bsp d8s from China for the first time. I am connecting them to K20pro via Bluetooth as Android, but it does not play any games, it seems connected, but what is the problem, can you help me?
Did you set the correct mode for the controller for Android?
Can u help me i bought one (totally different to what u have), this one does not work like a ps4 controller just android however i cannot map this on a emulator.
So does this work on a emulator as if it were a ps4 controller where u just oress the buttons to map them and u dont use any overlay screen like the octopus?
Is there any input delay i read some reviews it has some delay
The BSP D8 has multiple modes Xbox/Pro controller mode are the 2 main modes for Android meaning yes emulation would work for both. The V3 shooting plus mode works for games like PUBG that don't have native controller support.
Seems like a good little unit.
It's amazing I was playing with it this morning over my Odin 2 mostly testing then got distracted and kept playing with it lol.
I expected to see a bit xbox xcloud test.
Any issues with xcloud?
Cloud gaming is all based on your WiFi, Internet Speed, and Phone/Tablet the bluetooth module built into the device isn't going to affect this if you're referring to input latency etc if all of the above scenarios are good.
Holding out for the d9
Where did you get a case for your BSP d7 controller
I don't have a case for the BSP D7, also this is the latest model which is the BSP D8 😁
Goodluck everyone
What about the START and SELECT buttons???
What about the start and select buttons?
@@DNAMobileGaming you highlighted the absence of them. How do we deal with It???
@angelocp there's a start and select button did I say there wasn't?
@@DNAMobileGaming is It possible that I got it wrong?? I think you did
No, i did not get It wrong. Starting on 8:14 of the vídeo you leave unclear If they have the buttons. Check It out
Is it worth it? Or should I just buy the d6 instead
I mentioned something about the D6/7 in this video as I did a review about that controller as well.
im getting it very soon was on sale for single digit sold at 23 euros look very good
Nice about the same conversion in Canada, I'm actually shocked. The pictures didn't do there justice and there wasn't a lot of feedback about these!
@@DNAMobileGaming after using it for almost a week, its really a good upgrade to the d3, by the way if you hold power + A + Y, it will swap AB and XY which can come handy when using it on a nintendo switch or on yuzu(i tried it on xbox mode)
Oh nice, I haven't tried that I literally just took a video setup to play COD Mobile it'll be released as a short tonight 😄
May i know the model of the samsung phone? It almost perfectly fit on the device
It was an S22 Ultra with a case it wouldn't fit but my case was one with the Debit Card holder.
@@DNAMobileGaming thanks man, just making sure my phone perfectly fits before buying D8, btw nice review.
@williamiiigarcia8176 no problem with a normal Spigen case it should fit nicely. My now Redmagic 8S Pro fit in it great 😃
Do you like it better than the D7???
I definitely prefer it over the D6/7 model they're both really good though as I did a review of the D7 & I'd buy another D8 over a D7. Hope that helps!
It look large
Will it fit samsung s24
What version of mario do you play? And what emulator? 13 minute
Hey that was Mario Wii U Deluxe with Yuzu
@@DNAMobileGaming thank you. Its like 14G size 😎
would it work on a laptop/pc via bluetooth? Or does it need a dongle to work?
I was able to use it with USB and Bluetooth on my Windows PC
how was it now? is it still working properly?
Yes it still works I was using it to play MW3 on my PC on the weekend actually because my Xbox One controller died lol.
@@DNAMobileGaming cool! planning to buy it for may tablet for steamlink , will order now :)
Do you think this controller is easy to mod to support a 264mm tablet?
Well the ribbon cable most likely only stretches so far which inside the back brace. I've taken a few of these controllers apart and they're all fairly similar in that regard.
XBOX mode can use with Genshin Impact?
No you need the V3ShootingPlus Application for this as Genshin doesn't have native controller support.
It still looks kinda like a 3rd party PS2/GC controller
When you are playing games on yuzu. Does your phone heat up like crazy or not?
Turn off force max clocks for Adreno only. This helps with a lot of heavily demanding games but it causes heat which it says in the warning. Depending on your device too you don't need that on generally I wish I didn't mention that part.
This looks sick
Omgoodness I thought the nova symbol was switch symbol. Does it do switch?
Hey yes it works for the Nintendo Switch
What’s the cost of it and where to buy
I mentioned that in the video 😃
What is the difference between dsp d7 and dsp d8?
I actually liked the video in the description if you want to see the D7 I reviewed a few weeks earlier 👾
How to fix Bluetooth delay or input lag?
I've never experienced this with any games on my Redmagic 8S Pro or my S20 FE so not really sure.
@@DNAMobileGaming alright. I think maybe it's on the mobile device or emulator latency etc. Thanks
How big is it compared to the D3?
Watch my video it's quite big.
I got mine for 32 cad on aliexpress
Sweet must have gone down in price now.
Dang you need an Android then and a new mailman
@@DNAMobileGaming Gotnot working finally thanks to mentioning how to put in Xbox One Mode!! I kept trying the ways it said in the instructions before finally just being like "Screw it" and looking online and your was the first Vid!
Much appreciated mate !
I bought this to play cod mobile and it doesnt seem compatible. Im on a galaxy s23..
It sure is compatible you need to change your controller to the Xbox Controller for COD Mobile to pick it up as an Xbox Controller.
Can I use bluetooth speakers at the same time with this?
Depending on your phone which most phones/devices support 2 or more Bluetooth devices these days. I can use my headphones via Bluetooth and this controller at the same time!
What's the emulator you're using?
I think it was Yuzu at the time.
How to change rgb light
You can only turn them off
It is a monumental fail when someone reviews one of these controls and doesnt at least do the dpad test with either contra or street fighter. those are the benchmarks for good dpads and many retro gamers base their purchases on a solid dpad. sadly most reviewers miss this. They only test first person shooters which are actually the easiest games to play without a controller and just a touch screen alone. massive fail.
bro.. please help me.. I'm using a BSP D8 controller. How do I map or reset mapping? please help bro. Game battle prime
The mapping would be set via your game?
@@DNAMobileGaming mapping can be set if not using a controller. but if use a controller it can't be set or reset, sir
I use a Samsung M23 and a BSP D8 controller
I'm really not sure what you mean? There are different modes for the controller Xbox/Pro Controller/HID mode but for mapping your buttons that's based on the game or emulator. Unless you're talking about button swapping ABXY buttons?
@@DNAMobileGaming Yes, about the button that can't be reset. You have to follow what the controller has set, sir
Can i pay efootball 2023 on Android?
Does mediatek processor phone can use this?
Yes why wouldn't it?
Which mario game was that
Super Mario RPG 😁
Do you know will it be usable with ios 17?
I have an iPhone 14 on 17.5.1 and it works great!
@@LizardBae How did you connect D8 to iphone? I tried Power + B and I made a pair. But it doesn’t work in gsmes.
The dpad is clicky or smoothy?
It's mashy not tactile or smoothy in your terms lol
@@DNAMobileGaming the bsp-d6 is better?
The D6/7 is the same on the dpad side I did a review about it as well. The Analog triggers is what makes the D8 amazing plus it's thicker. I honestly can say I like both for their own reasons but the D8 I use more when I reach for the Bluetooth controller.
Did u try connecting it to an iPhone?
Hey no I mentioned this in the review what iOS versions work for it as I don't own an iPhone.
Does it work on xiaomi phone? Mediatek
Not sure why I wouldn't?
Different for sure
Does this work on minecraft?
It's works perfectly for Minecraft
@@DNAMobileGaming thanks for helping me
Works on PS Remote Play?
Why wouldn't it?
Some controllers are not supported by Remote play :/
@@Andre46Gameplays oh okay I used it for Game Pass and Moonlight so that's why I questioned it that way.
How does the vibration work?
If the game has native vibration it just works as far as I can tell so far but with some emulators you can change the vibration motor (Dolphin for example) to use the controller instead of your phone!
@@DNAMobileGaming afaik android doesn't support vibration via bluetooth.
It sure does I just did a video confirming this today actually because someone else asked this lol. th-cam.com/users/shortspR6v159MlRk?feature=share

Can 12.6-inch tablet fit :D
I don't think so my 10 inch tablet was almost maxed out
@@DNAMobileGaming tnx
Does it connect through USB-C to USB-C?
No this device is Bluetooth unless you mean charging then yes it's a USB C charger. I just use my Samsung charger which works great!
Oh yes it can be used as a wired controller as well on the computer not sure about the phone because it would need an Xbox driver I'll have to give it a check later today!
@igr7011so did it work with usb c on Android/Pc?
Yes on the PC haven't tried on Android yet though.
I'm going have D8 telescope gamepad
I like it
My brother his buy too
PPSSPP AND MONSTER HUNTER BABY❤
So I guess it’s totally worth it?
It's definitely worth it for the price and ergonomics I won't be buying another controller for a while. Also my D7 models are great too but the D8 is the icing on the cake!
