      TIK I went ahead and got it haha. Haven’t built a PC in 15 years now. SFF has made me interested about it again. Just hope companies continue to support and improve, and continue making even smaller designs. Love the thought of highly modular - yet tiny computers. And this channel is great for covering / focusing so much on it. So tired of all the P.C. tech channels focusing on building outrageously huge and inconvenient computers with terrible “gamer” design with RGB lighting. Wish there were more minimal and design focused P.C. channels.

      I just travelled from US to Japan and I carried my Ghost in a duffle bag no problem, it's more about the size than the weight

      many air companies won't let you take over 10kg on board. Do they actually measure the weight of your duffle bag?

      @@allansh828 I've never once had my carry-on baggage weighed at an airport

      @supportwaifu 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@allansh828 In my experience they don't enforce the weight so much as the size, if it can fit underneath the seat then it's good. A my fully built Ghost isn't over that, it's like more like 7-8kg. (Edit: In an Air cooled configuration so no top hats)

    I think you should compare these small cases to something that most people would have rather than to other cases.

  • @ripsimps

    I might be out of line for saying this but I would buy this case just for the frame and run a open air case but if on the go would definitely throw the core into the shell

    Does it come with active regeneration of it's shields?

    • @THORZONE
      @THORZONE 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, these prototype shields are not worthy to regenerate. We're currently eyeing much tougher tapes (they are also black, much more appealing). Another option is to use plastic inserts on the edges of the core and skip tape all together (in talks with factories to figure out the costs on these).

    The damage on that riser cable, the clearance between the radiator fan and the cables, and the limitations on the 240mm radiator make me very skeptical. I'm wondering if you could get away with more using EKWB's slim radiators and Noctua's 15mm line of fans.

    @THOR ZONE if you reply to this it'll be greatly appreciated as I'm considering buying either this, or the ghost s1. This might clear up any other peoples concerns.
    1. The inner frame flexibility, is it a deisgn flaw, or meant to be like that? If it is meant to be that, and since it is a steep premium price, can you perhaps improve the flex?
    2. The rail idea is a good idea. I personally don't want to struggle to take my inner case in and out. The Ghost s1 is good because of its flexibility, and accessibility. Are you going to change anything in this regard?
    3. I am aware that materials do cost a bit, and you have a lot of expenses to cover hence the kickstarter, but can I please hear the justification in making it more expensive than the ghost s1? I'm sure I don't need to explain basic competition to you, putting the Mjolnir closer to ghost s1 will really benefit you. Please may I hear your side to this?
    4. Not really a question, more a thanks for bringing more options to the table. However, if anyone else has questions feel free to comment in the replies section to make it easier for them to see.

    Any chance you'll do an updated review now that it's out of prototype phase, or has nothing really changed with since the last time you checked this case out?

    Could use an external water cooling solution, should have enough space for 4 water pipes. Two in, two out.
    Though then, that kind of misses the point of getting such a case.

    Won't cramming a fan between an AIO and PSU wires cause issues with airflow on its own? How will that fan push or pull any air like that?

    Liquid cooling seems odd. Why not simply use a low profile CPU cooler set to exhaust? This would blow the hot air right out through the vent holes on the side.
