    I have that same bike for almost 2 months and it has been incredible.
    Super comfy, feels incredibly planted to the ground and easy to handle.
    What I wish it had:
    -The infamous fuel gauge indicator so I don’t have to bother setting a trip each time I put gas on.
    -An easy access to under the seat cuz there is no way to access unless you unscrew the thingy.
    -The option to use the rear seat cover as a luggage (the old ones had that option but not this one)
    Other than that, I love riding this thing 😎👌
    I also had a Bonnie T120 which was an awesome motorcycle 😀

      Thank you for watching and sharing your experience. I didn't even have time to think about the lack of fuel gauge, that is crazy! Last bike I had without one was 2009 Bonneville
      How would you compare it long term to a T120?

      @@pintsizedbiker Short answer: The Bonnie is a better bike hands down.
      Long answer: The Bonnie was my first bike ever so I’m a bit bias 🤓
      The only reason i didn’t get a new one was because there is no Triumph dealership where I live. The one I had (2017 when it just came out) was imported from Austria so now I wasn’t willing to go through the same 😀
      Not having to deal with a chain maintenance makes life a bit easier with the BMW and also having a bigger fuel tank is a nice bonus.
      One issue I forgot to mention is that riding the BMW for more than an hour will make your hands feel numb and a lot. This could be an easy fix with handlebar risers but because it’s a new frame, the older risers don’t fit and no custom shops has new ones available which sucks.
      To sum things up, the T120 is a better bike when it comes to overall comfort and price and I heard that the newer models come with cruise control from the factory plus Brembos, which is great. The Bonnie still has character and it looks stunning.
      The R12 NineT feels and looks more premium, the tech is super nice and responsive, the breaks work flawlessly, suspension is on the hard side despite having adjustable front and rear and the torque is insane but the price is borderline offensive 😬
      Sorry for the long text 🧐👌

    Had an R9T back in 2017. Great bike, well made, handling, brakes, performance all top drawer. That steam roller clanking past reminded me of that Norton you tried before 😉

    Nice review, be interesting to see a bake off between the new R12nine T and the R9t

    The nearly stalling thing is also common to my Triumph Speedmaster. It's probably the engine mapping and the fuelling running very lean just above 1000rpm. It's also worse when the engine is hot and in traffic.

      @pintsizedbiker  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Seems to be a common issue with modern bikes. I can’t recall it on my T100 but I had it remapped years ago so might of long forgotten 😂

    I have one and am the same size as you. Could 11:59 do with a bit flatter seat, can then get both feet flat. Otherwise a great bike.

    Test rode one but retuned it after 10 minutes! That latteral movement was not for me and it felt very unstable when slowing down.

    • @pintsizedbiker
      @pintsizedbiker  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I didn’t find that, not sure if it was due to having ridden an original one 20 years ago maybe. Or perhaps I was just oblivious 😂

    I had this very bike from Bahnstormer last week for a day while my Scrambler was being serviced and did about 150 miles. I found it very smooth and actually like the new tech but it was far too small for me at 6' 4". I think the OTR price is a bit steep given that my RNineT was half the price and this certainly isn't twice the bike.

    • @pintsizedbiker
      @pintsizedbiker  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TwinPotMan that’s great knowledge price wise, has it doubled?? Where as new T100 aren’t much different to what I paid 5 years ago

      @@pintsizedbiker To be fair my Scrambler was v low mileage and nearly new 2nd hand when I bought it, but, even now outgoing but new RNineT Pures are selling for £11,490 on Autotrader against the full OTR price of £16,613 for the R12 NineT, which you tested, although there are already discounts of about £1k being offered.

      @@pintsizedbiker I agree, I really hate the use of gold on bikes, it's so naff (sorry TMF!) Also, why would you spec a retro like this with horrible little LCD instead of a clock?

    • @pintsizedbiker
      @pintsizedbiker  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@specialcircs they are ok on a sports bike, equally upside down forks aren’t really needed on a retro. Save a few pennies and just go with normal ones with half decent internal bits
