the music and your voice and the translation are very good. actually understandable songs in toki pona are a rarity you know. though videos by kala asi are even more of a rarity. this video is a treasure
youtube showed me a video titled "my playlist for doing literally anything" in the related section here and truer words have never appeared on my screen
I like this version more than i thought i would. Toki pona really works well with folk and blues and whatnot, i think that has to do with a certain universal idea behind how music and language interact.
If I had a penny for every time this was translated in a language there isn't a lot of music in (Old French and toki pona) I'd have two pennies, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
@@kala_asi and the alphabet bro? What kind of alphabet is this? It very pretty very charming in fact.🤙🤙🤙 . Do you know more about sites that teach toki pona with this alphabet, channels here on TH-cam and blogs, sites?
@@SinilkMudilaSama the writing system (logographic not alphabetic btw) is sitelen pona There are plenty of resources listed on sona.pona.la/wiki/Learning_resources Theres also stuff on the official tokipona.org website.
i didn't expect to find a toki pona version of one of my favorite songs, guess it will be my primary "learning tool" now
not sure if it was intentional but i love how the sitelen pona chosen for Wasinsan have mostly negative meanings (weka, anpa, ike, nasa). pona a!
it was intentional
