How does the system make someone illegal?
By not allowing those who have received documentation legally to renew them before they expire. You apply for renewal today it take weeks or months to renew, during those weeks and months you are regarded illegal.
@@muholezarukumeta Yes because there is a lot of applications, people don't want to go to their countries or other countries. South Africa does not have the capacity even citizens are struggling to have their documents. There is a lot of problems in this country. People must get that into their heads n stop blaming everything on our government when they cannot hold their own governments accountable.

Services rendered to recognized migrants are funded by the UNHCR, the government reports to this organization each to provide a glimpse on the situation including all they to provide these services. Few weeks ago I did provide a report from Stats SA which specified how many foreigners the SA government takes in charge and how many the UNHCR does take in charge, the figures were clear, big number was funded by the UNHCR while SA only catered for a very few. So when trying to find solutions to the country's issues please be deep and not be blinded by political games. There is huge corruption going on that even if foreigners were to leave it wouldnt change much to your problems

My asylum expired before covid and system failed to give me an extension what should l do

We don't hate you but South Africans should come first. We are struggling and cannot afford to have this number of people in our country. Unfortunately some foreigners have taken advantage of our country in a bad way.
I still believe that 85% of SAans are good and welcoming people. The tough economic conditions is also a precursor to the behaviors displayed by the small number of SAans, I think we just need to support one another. For example, if you are a foreign with a job and able to assist a local without a job please do so in the name of African spirit.
