I am a single mother my daughter is now 33 and married. I was one of those mothers who thought my daughter was perfect until one day she said to me " mom i am not perfect i am going to make mistakes" she was 15. That statement woke me up from my fantasy. She has turned up to be an amazing young woman whom i am so proud of. Communication is the key!

I'm am not exonerating the Nigerian boys of wrong doing but I am saying that 17 years for their offence is too harsh and they should have served their sentence in Nigeria. If someone came to me and said to me that my sons had behaved wrongly, I would listen to them and discipline my boys myself. @@blackallday ok. But why don't you mention the parents of the scammers? It seems you don't think those boys don't matter also, are they not humans who deserve better parenting? All those Nigerian Scammers are they orphans, who have no parents, are their parents emotionshionless? Don't you think their parents have lost their children?
How many prisoners in US die mysteriously? Don't you think their lives are now in danger in a US prison as black kids who caused a death of a white child?
You trying to shift blame, lack of accountability, causes you to be shortsighted.
It seems as some black people in Africa / Nigeria needs to check their moral compass and start to be accountable. Wrong is wrong especially if it is now a norm in certain countries that crime is an acceptable value and only victim's are wrong and judged.
A drug dealer is not wrong, the sex-trafficker is not wrong the victim is wrong why was she walking in the street. The human-body-part ritualist is not wrong, the one killed should have tightened the security of their homes. The car highjacker is not wrong people should buy bulletproof cars so they don't get killed. That's the mindset of some (not ALL) Nigerians, when analyzing crime.
