This kit seems to have set off some retro talk as this is an old classic kit..Anyone remember Beatties model shop..A monster of its day..! Puma is a good looking vehicle..Good to see it circle again.Great video, thank you👍
Good video!! I built this kit roughly 15 years or so ago. For an ITALERI kit, it went together pretty well. Do remember having a warped main gun barrel, so used an aftermarket barrel. It was an enjoyable kit and hope you have fun building it as well.
I would love to see you do a tutorial on PE. I've returned to modeling after retirement and PE was not around when I was building kits in my youth. I must admit I haven't got the confidence to tackle PE at the moment so any guidance you could give would be much appreciated.
I would second that idea of having a tutorial for Photo etch. I too feel like I can't tack the PE for the kits. There are so much PE now that a dedicated video tutorial would be excellent.
PE looks great! That said I hate working with it. Just be sure to buy a bending jig to work with it. It sticks on with super glue. Loctite 495 works for me.
I like Italeri decals, I belive the guys that print them are really professional. The newer instructions are really nice. I like that you get a lot of different paint schemes for both German and Italian versions on many of their Italian and German tanks. Of course their kits are not perfect, but they have the right price for a lot of fun and a challenge too. Their paints smell the same and can be mixed with Vallejo model colour and I belive they must come from the same factory since they use the same 20 ml bottels as Vallejo uses for some of their products.
I think this kit came out in 79 or early 1980 because i started working in a model shop in september 1980 when i was 17 and they were on the Italeri shelf in the shop then.
Anyone have trouble buying stuff from hannants Lowestoft tried to buy one gun barrel the checkout stalls yet if I have three in basket go to pay pops up no bother I only want one , not impressed if its a way bumping the bill , italeri should've put metal barrel in to modernise the kit fully
I’ve never had a problem with Hannants and find them the most professional I’ve dealt with..Perhaps they had a glitch..Hannants are totally approachable if you e-mail them with a question.. Had some terrible trouble with another model suppliers..Can’t name names but they are very immature if you E-mail their Model shop..A very rudE-Model’shop..
Hi everyone, recently invested in a few models and have begun to build a kit for assembling and painting them though I have yet to buy a sprayer as I am hesitant because I'm ignorant as to which one I should buy. Looking for recommendations for a newb please and thanks for these awesome videos. Appreciate the high quality content.
Dragon is so fakkin'overated..& and oversnginerd! 50 parts for that usually takes 2paets, add to that rubbish instrutions + oddlyplaces plastic connections on their sprus🙄
Excellent as always and improving, Italeri.
So nice model and so nice unboxing! I will follow your next video! Enjoy!
Don’t know why I missed this but it’s nice to your reviews of the older kits.

Beatties was my "special treat" when I visited my dad's office in London in the late 60's.
@@ThePereubu1710 sounds a magic memory..There was something magic about Betties..Always a treat to walk into.👍

Enjoyable as always 👍
P.s. Editing went a bit off at 0:58 and 2:18 😉
タミヤとイタレリのコラボで発売して欲しい🙏
Isn’t this exactly the same as the Tamiya one?
*Thanks for this review, the add on are useful on most of the Italeri kits!*
Be good to see you have a go at this Jason.
Thanks for review and sharing.

Well there is a cracking idea! I’ll get right on that, thanks 👍

Their kits are very nice to upgrade, i have a ton of leftover parts from rfm and dragon kits, i plan on pimping up my italeri kits with them.

Love Italeri. Such great value for money for the non-rivet counting modeller.
Please jump this one up the build order. I want to see it built now! So I can pick your brains and copy! Thanks in anticipation Danny Cleary.
Nice to see something different. But these kits 😱 me ha had some scares in the past but Hay it's all fun .
The matchbox version was the very first model I ever built
😉👌
Class kit and way back then I built a few..
Look forward to seeing the build video. Would like to see a guide to using photo eich. Didn't use it when I was model making as a child / young adult.
Looking forward to the build. Great review 👍
i saw this model in the model store i went to but the box was so destroyed i didn’t wanna buy it in case some pieces inside broke
@Champion Scale Modelling what do you feel about the products of youre fellow country men at Humbrol? Do you like their enamel paints?

what was that editing ~ 1:00
Haha bad! I lost that bit and couldn’t find it, seems it jumped back to 1 minute 🥴
How difficult is it?
its a easy to build kit, did one in the 1980,and in 2015 always loved it.
Not bad for a 1980 tooling (with new parts added in 1996.
...AUSGEZEICHNET!!!!!!
Good model👍

Should have spent the few extra bucks and just got the dragon one
Few extra bucks? It’s £75 here without the extras it used to have, this lot came to £40
