And just for fun, Mini Art is releasing 2 brand new PUMAS, one with full interior and engine. Not to be left out, Dragon juuuust so happens to be re-releasing their Puma with some extra goodies in the box.
You're a pretty good salesman Andy! My wife and (or) I will have to get one of these! Just built the AK boxing of the Dragon one. Loved it but i gotta build this one. Looks like its gonna be another winner from RFM!!! Excited!
Great review thanks As a fan of RFM’s kits, this is definitely on my shopping list! I reckon that this is going to be a great build, even though I did love Dragon’s when it came out.
Looks like a nice kit and the $39.99 price is very appealing. The up-coming Miniart kit appears to have a more complete interior, but if you are going to build it buttoned up or with a crewman in the hatch, the completeness of the interior won’t matter much. If they release the SdKfz 234/1, /3, or /4 in the future, the interior detail will matter a lot more. The engine compartment is a nice addition, too. It will need fuel injection lines added and perhaps some wiring, although this diesel engine does not have ignition wires, I believe.
Looks really nice shame the storage boxes on fenders weren't openable aswell that would have made a nice little extra detail on a dio hopefully it's hollow as easy enough to make a new hinge in fusion and print it now if wanted to cut them open!
what is it with manufacturers releasing the exact same vehicles.. the 1/16 th scale market is full of Shermans and Tigers. and new 1/35th now have Pumas appearing at the same time.. i just bought the RFM Sherman used by General Abrams , which looks pretty neat. We need more DIVERSE kits though... Matilda ... Centurion ... etc
That turret looks rather empty, I have to do some research to see if its missing something Edit: the turret is indeed incomplete, miniart's versions does have proper turrer interior.

It does look like a great build and extreme value is true.
I already put in my pre-order for the kit and the wheels. LOVE the Puma! Thank you Andy.
Great review Andy, thanks for sharing. I'm gonna get the Puma from you!

On order. Will be my first armored car in about 40 years.
Great review thanks

I'm a little surprised they molded the storage box lids in the side bins shut as well as the side hull hatches.

The old Itlaieri kit was pretty good by my memory and likely available dirt cheap.
Great review again Andy, thank you. I woud like to see how to cut off these resin wheels without damaging the tyre structure.
Ordered. Thanks, Andy!
Great vehicle Andy
Thx another great video
Bravo keep em coming?
Any builds coming up?
Oh wow I love the puma so much.
Cool model. Thank you for this review. 👍
Looks like a nice kit 👍👍
When's the pre order starting on the european website?

Based on the instructions, the wheels don't appear to be steerable as suggested on the box?
Posable, not steerable
@@andyconway5610 Looks like they aren't posable either, only option in the instructions is straight
It is sterable, there are clear "do not cement" icons on suspension hinges.
Why not include the weighted wheels in the kit, why make the modeller pay extra?
I think the piece of wire is to make the bucket handle
Will there be a full interior version coming in the future?
Not sure why you have only just heard about this kit? I have had one on pre-order here in the UK, for over 2 months now.

They know what sells well. I would assume very few people outside UK would be interested in Matilda or Centurion.
great now they have to make sdkfz.234/4, can't find it anywhere...
More than "out of the blue", it's because Miniart is realising its own Puma, but Miniart made a big fuzz about it, while RFM kept silent...
It be nice if companies would sell a version with all their upgrade sets included at a cheaper price then to buy all of them separately.
No photo etch?
pre order for this is not on your eu website
What was the wire for that was in its own bag?
it was for the bucket
@@AndysHobbyHeadquarters thanks! I've got one on preorder!
Nice!.. when I was a kid I built a trolley out of lawn mower wheels when I was a kid and I named it the Puma. The name came from this vehicle.👍🇳🇿
I Never Saw Puma In Action (Movies/Dokus) 🤔👀

Very nice, how much!
Did you even bother to watch the first minute of the video? Or you just wanted to be first to comment?
99.99 us like he told ya😊
@@jcwoodman5285 You replied to me, not the op and it's 39.99 NOT 99.99 😔😔

So the wheels cant be orientated? Pass
They can, look again.
