You gotta give Delta credit. As far as American carriers go, they are at least trying to bring us back to a time when flying was a better experience.

I flew with delta November last year from Heathrow to Winnipeg and I was very impressed with the service on the plane and the food was out of these world.out of ten would be 10/10
The “extras” (cheese and crackers, as well as other snacks) are in the galley at the back of the plane.
Delta offers the best economy class experience among US carriers on US-Japan routes.

Did you fly first class from Schiphol to Atlanta or economy class? Because I will fly next week with delta the same route and I’m excited to see what they offer.
When they said cabin i was thinking sitting by yourself.
But i thank you for sharing this video. Delta is not a bad flight i flew them before to go to Guyana. The first class is awesome

Nice video. I recently flew in Delta first class on the A330 200 series from Phoenix to Atlanta and they had either a bistro box or a market box. The items which were contained we're mostly snack items no real hot food served.
This flight was transatlantic tho so maybe that has something to do with it 🤔

Wow, they really 'upped' their game on the food that newer version of the meal looked really delicious.
The service looked nice although I feel there was less food but then all US carriers need a lot of work on their inflight food service for their international flights as they just don't compare to the international carriers. Thanks for a nice report!

Great video. I flew Delta to CDG and liked the level of service.
I’m a diamond medallion and usually fly in Delta one. But last year had an urgent trip close to thanksgiving and delta one price is just outrageous. So decided to fly long haul main cabin on a350 dtw pvg and pvg sea on a339. Wow. Amazed with the service and FA attentiveness. Of course i was able to sit in the exit row for free thanks to my status and delta comfort on the way back. They had more food option in Y than in J!!! Really impressed with meal service. Large portion, delicious and unique presentation. Even the menu card is better than me3 or some asian carrier. The welcome drink was a nice touch as well of course. The only improvement i would ask be better dinner roll, real silverware and better hot towel.
R they as good as asean flight? Like s pore jal or korean air

I think before it was better dont you think they cut so many things for example before you had drink and snack before your meal and you had cheese and crackers on the dinner tray but now they're all gone plz next time show us galley where they put snacks what do you think about this new service I think size its the same as before but they cut so many things !
The quality was very good, however, I do agree with you. I always enjoyed the little extra things. Hopefully delta will take note and replace the extras! Thanks for watching!
Delta Has great economy class and premium economy. But horrible delta one class (for flight that aren’t the new suite) because they lack a good lounge and updated seats. And now it’s impossible to redeem miles or points without going bankrupt
Yes, Delta is good, but it is impossible for me to pay 700€ for a one way transatlantic flight. I have only one found a flight with Delta that my family could pay. Guess I will need to stick with Lufthansa, KLM or American then..

Flew delta one last year London Heathrow to Arizona. Great trip !

I flew the "elevated dining experience" on their A330 Detroit-Amsterdam in Jan 2020. It was atrocious. They advertised an appetizer..... you think that'd something you get before the meal right?? Wrong. It was just a side dish. Literally just the regular salad that comes with your meal. It was that, the main course, and a tiny roll. It was a disgrace.
To compare, I flew the same route and plane in June 2018. We got the main dish, roll, salad, fruit, and cheeses with crackers. I would so much prefer the old experience. What they're doing now is making you think they give you more but they don't. It's a disgrace that they advertise the side dish as an appetiser as an excuse to not have to give you an extra side dish like they did before. Even United and American gave me more than this. Oh and did I mention the pre-landing snack? 2018 was a box with yogurt, granola bar, and a muffin. 2020? A cold roll the size of my palm.
The crackers are at the back of the plane. Besides, you can choose the appetizers now cuz nobody eats salads. And aren't all appetizers served with the main meal in economy? Even the BEST airlines.
@@AshmewStudios An appetizer is something served before the meal. It should not be called an appetizer, it should just be called a choice of side dish. Also why should the crackers be at the back? You're gonna make 200 passengers get up and go to the back when your crew can easily add it to your tray?

Sir, are you serious? That food was fit for a feed lot, not humans.
