Hi was the 60,000 miles round trip per person in main cabin or basic economy? Awesome video! I am planning my trip to Japan debating to fly Delta as well as sitting in the exit seats.
Tyty, it was Main Cabin, we did end up paying extra for the one exit row window seat around $129 but def worth it since could get up whenever we wanted.
Planning on a Tokyo trip this October. Seeing this video helped me in making a decision in not to fly Delta because of the food. It's the 2nd video I've watched in the past 10mins that mentioned the same issue. The food isn't appealing at all. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the video! I booked this flight but have never flown in a seat that I didn't have under-seat storage. Is it worth it to give up to be able to move around freely? I am thinking about my laptop and other time burners in my personal item I can access. Thanks again!
Thanks for the comment! Personally, for a 14 hour flight, I would book this over and over again. I stored my stuff above and didnt have a problem (I also have a mini bag for small items - phone, airpods, etc. that was helpful). Having the ability to walk / get up multiple times was sooo worth it, I think I got up like 6 times for bathroom breaks, walking around, raiding the snack station, etc.
It did and will say it is spotty, don't expect to be able to watch tiktok or instagram reels seamlessly, it'll lag. But good enough to check email or surf the web. if you or can get someone who has a t-mobile number its free. If not, then you have to pay a fee.
I'll be doing this exact flight in a couple months, nice to get a heads up what to expect.
How was your flight?
Nice I just booked the exact same seat as you on the exact same trip (ATL to HND)
Thanks for making this. I'll be taking this flight soon so i wanted to see what it was like.
Did Delta do hot towels in coach? American did them right after takeoff for the whole plane from DFW-HND. I was impressed.

Did wifi last the entire trip?
