Chronic Illness Weekly: Getting Furloughed, Make Up & Hormones || Week 117

- This week on Chronic Illness Weekly things were starting to feel like as 'normal' as they could in the strange times but then suddenly I was furloughed and although it makes perfect sense the shock of losing another huge aspect of my life got to me. I start my make up looks inspired by characters and people in my life, mostly Disney related, as a way of making sure I get up and dressed. Have a couple of teary meltdowns as I reveal what's been going on in my personal life but very quickly discover the emotions were very hormonal as I end up with another unexpected period. (I apologise for all the tears in this video) I also have lovely catch ups with friends through the magic of zoom.
Chronic Illness Weekly is, you guessed it, a weekly vlog showing you my life with Chronic Illness. I share my experiences with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome ( EDS ), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome ( POTS ) and Chronic Migraine. I fight chronic pain and fatigue and many other symptoms on a daily basis but I try not to let it stop me.

Oh Jenni sweetheart, I’m so sorry to hear that you and Mike have split up. Relationship breakups are hard enough anyway without the virus on top. It’s removed so many of our coping strategies that we would normally take advantage of - going out with your mates and getting drunk, throwing yourself into work etc....but you are coming out of it and you will find someone who loves you for you when you least expect it. And your mascara was absolutely amazing! You could be an influencer for whatever company makes it! Take care of yourself xx
Thank you, it's been very up and down for a long time so not a huge surprise but obviously just awful timing and tough with being away from my friends. I've never really been single so this is at least a chance to get to get to know myself a little better. Haha I was in shock I'll be droping loreal a message haha :P
After Covid consider starting your own business doing something you really like. You could work on the business plan now.
I do love my jobs I miss them a lot I'm hoping I can focus on this platform for a while which is especially good with EDS awareness month coming up. I've got plenty to be getting on with when I have the energy and motivation :P
