Clear instructions and always nice to see a video of an assembly, before doing it myself. Also, good to see someone taking care during unboxing and installation... many others who received the printer from Creality really don't care and yank it out of the packaging. Anyways, thanks for this. Good content. Just subscribed!
You mounted the run out sensor and filament mount bracket in reverse. The spool holder collar should sit in the negative space of the mount and the run out sensor should be on right if you are facing the printer.
There is no wrong way. It's mounted? Filament passes through? Cable connected? Done. I could mount the run out sensor on my ceiling, if I had an extension cable.
@@3DRundown I'm sure it works fine I was just pointing out its installed in the opposite configuration in the manual/set up guide. Seems to have a little more range of motion to move with the filament when installed on the right
@@3DRundown On mine, the sensor cable isn't quite long enough by about 5mm, if you mount it that way. So it definitely needs to be mounted with the sensor on the right.
Outstanding and very clear walk through of the complete unboxing and setup instructions. Love your style and humor throughout - getting my KE later this week and I can't wait to put it together!
Truth be told, I blew these machines off... I didn't believe in them. But, I started throwing stuff at them, and, they are really surprising me. The KE, is indeed, a great machine.

just a question, according to the instructions, the run out sensor bracket is installed the other way around... I double checked after the cable wouldn't reach with the orientation you have it :)
Should be facing front, arrow down. It comes pre attached. Mine reaches easily. Official photo's show it on the other side, but that's an error, it comes mounted as seen here, and there are no mounting holes on the opposite side

This is the way. All Creality official imagery has it forward, and the photo on the box itself has it forward. I also built their machines for them, at ERRF.... Forward. Even if they wanted back (they don't), I would overrule.
@@3DRundown I need to push on this comment. The picture as well as Creality's own online videos, manual, etc has it showing the screws facing the top belts. In other words, the screws are hidden when looking at it from the front. Does the orientation actually matter? I am returning one from Amazon due to defects, but it was running up until when I'm disassembling it for return. I had it oriented the way the manual shows without issue (issue was a bent extruder plate causing it to cant outwards. I bent it back but....don't want a new item to be askew). @@3DRundown you’re right. I was downloading models specifically made for my printer and just shooting them over wirelessly. @3DRundown Ouch. This one seemed more like it was stuck on prints that pulled up in my case, but I suppose I should check these things better. When I return this printer and get a new one I will definitely do more disassembly and reassembly before using it. Apparently the build plate needs alcohol cleaning, too.
That could happen..... if the model leaves the print bed, and then sticks to the hotend, and the filament has nowhere to go, so it just builds up all around the hot end.
