One of my favourite lines in film
“You said wet shirt dont brake, not piss shirt bend bar” 😂😂
Oh please react to more Jackie chan. Rumble in the Bronx, who am i?, Mr nice guy, Armour of God 1 & 2, police story series, drunken master 1 & 2, wheels on meals, city hunter, gorgeous. All so good!
His best movies were in the 70s and early 80s...
@@ofenomeno1381 if we're being honest, all his best films were ones that were not produced in America.
WHEELS ON MEALS FIRST! And get Jaby to watch with them to give them fun facts.
First Strike
@@gio4868 believe it or not, that's part of the police story series.
Walton Goggins always play an antagonistic Western character 😂 😂 😂
He fits that character so well.
Except In hateful eight he's the sheriff
I HAD COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN he was in this one.. 😂
Made it better as a bad guy 😆
Y'all need to check out the sequel now. Shanghai Knights.
Yes please
I prefer knights
Yes
Ladies, your laughter and even snorting brought me back to when my family saw this in theaters. My mom was laughing so hard she couldn’t contain her snorting either. The whole theater was in fits. Such a great movie.
This is a really underrated flick, surprised other reactors haven't discovered it yet.
I agree. I actually prefer this to Rush Hour.
@@HenrikAskestadme too, rush hour trilogy is overrated compared to Shanghai movies.
Somehow I searched up one of the three reactions to this on TH-cam like 2 weeks ago, was surprised so little to choose from. Lovely to see these two having SO much fun with it - and a little silly I didn't just wait a week or two to go for some feel good nostalgia :)
Next Shanghai Knights
*double sworded up* "One more"
@@chrishouseincuno mas
Donnie yen is the baddie in that one too..
@@TheFerozuddin Don't forget the great Aidan Gillen as a secondary antagonist who plays into it so well
Yes!
Watch The Tuxedo starring Jackie Chan, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jason Isaacs
Y'all not liking Walton Goggins is hilarious considering how loved he has become nowadays.
Dude's killing it nowadays.
24 years he kept at it for the Spotlight.
This was the first movie I saw him in.
@@windandcloudshadow158 yeah, back in the saddle, just lost his nose :))
They dislike the character, not the actor. 🙄
This movie handled diversity better than so many things today. It felt normal back then to watch Chinese, Native American (I'm trying to get away from calling them "iNdIaN"), Euro Westerners, and a bit of Mexican woman share a story and be handled so well. Today, you'd be hard-pressed to find even a video game like that beyond 'For Honor' which barely has a story. Imagine a movie or game or show like this with folklore/mythology creatures from around the world being taken on by heroes from different lands. We need more like this ASAP.
This movie was half my childhood. I call my niece named Peyton,Princess PeyPey.
I miss this kind of movies
Chon Wang's wife in this movie was played by Brandon Merrill, a former model and multiple rodeo-champion. Unfortunatly, "Shang-High Noon" was her only movie. 😞
I can see why. Her poor delivery of that last line, which is pretty much her only line, always made me cringe. Sounds like someone reading it off a paper in a monotone voice.
She's gorgeous though.
@@Gutslinger Yeah I can see what you mean. But I think it might be on purpose because it's her first time speaking english in the movie. Maybe she had problems with the accent.
@@ReeN1995 yeah, shes born in colarado and raised in wyoming, not the easiest accent to shift out of, would have taken a couple years of lessons
She looks a lot like Catherine McCormack, the wife who gets her throat slit in Brave heart.
Been watching this movie since I was a kid. I just now realized that this is basically a western version of Rush Hour.
We need a third one, these movies are underrated
jackie chan is legitimately 1 of the most talented actors of this generation
He's a crap Actor, but one of the best Stunt Men.
@lokithecat7225 he's not a crap actor at all. He plays emotion pretty well and has incredible comedic timing.. especially physical
when u factor his longevity, choreography, comedy, emotion and stunts... he's easily 1 of the most talented in his genre
He's great actor you should watch more if his Chinese movies @@lokithecat7225
@@lokithecat7225clearly you have not scene enough of hi movies especially those made in china.
Shut up!@@lokithecat7225
Jackie Chan outtakes are the best!
Props for including the end credits. It should be mandatory for all Jackie's movies.
That axe-throwing scene where he throws them at the two Indians - that was a call back to Jackie's earliest Hong Kong film Project A Part II
So nice to see someone reacting to this forgotten gem. It's just so much fun.
I think this was my introduction to Owen Wilson, I loved him ever since. Somehow the two of their vibes just work so well together. And also surprising how the setting worked out so well! If you ask "can you see Chris Tucker as a fast talking cop?", sure yeah that makes sense. "Hey let's have Owen Wilson as a cowboy", a lot more surprising, yet possibly even funnier!
4:19 that’s what all young boys feels inside when there mother licks her fingers to fix his hair or clean his face
Success of Rush hour really overshadowed Shanghai Noon. Peak Jackie Chan.
PUHLEEEZ!! DO YOU EVEN KNOW ANYTHING BOUT JACKIE CHAN!!!?? 😒 PEAK JACKIE CHAN WAS ONLY THE 80'S AND THEN AS A WORTHY PROPER FOLLOW UP 90'S JACKIE CHAN !!!! DAT TOO IN HONG KONG!! DATS IT! 😑😒
@@rexxbailey2764 lol I was speaking for myself mostly. Loved this movie when I was a kid.
Yoooo, glad you guys liked it! I've ALWAYS thought this movie was underrated af 😝😉
Shanghai Knights please. Just as good as this one.
It's even better.
1:53 Fun Fact: This is Jason Connery. He is the son of the late legendary Sean Connery.
26:30, 47:07 the girls lost their shit !!!!!! They look so nice when they be laughing they asses off 😂😂
The fight with honour took me out too😂😂😂😂
Kristen snorts... hysterical!
That was literally rip snortin’ funny! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
thats soo funny. this was the first time, jackie chan have working with horses. i love that: pe pe pe, ke ke ke 🤣😂😄😎🤠
Shanghai knights next. They're both amazing.
26:42 Kristen has the cutest and funniest snort laugh I’ve ever heard.🤣🤣🤣
Do more Jackie Chan reactions!
Also for a similar vibe check out Bandidas with Salma and Penelope.
27:00 Kristen was already pig snorting laughing which is why I love her but then there was a horse sound and I couldn’t tell if it was her or the horse 😊 I love her
Wow finally someone does this film
Pls make sure you do the sequel too it’s maybe better
Kristen ❤❤❤❤
IT'S ACTUALLY NOT. 😑😒 ONLY THE FIRST ONE WAS GOOD.
So many Jackie Chan movies but rumble in the Bronx is a must...
Ladies, this is one of your best reactions! The snorts had me rolling!
Triple snort thats impressive
Omg how did I forget it was Lucy lui in this classic
Please react to +🔥
★ *Shangai Knights* (2003)
★ *The Tuxedo* (2002)
_/starring *Jackie Chan* & Jennifer Love Hewitt Wright*
The Tuxedo is so stupid movie man 😢
Tuxedo is the least interesting Jackie Chan movie.
Always loved Jackie chan movie. They always put the bloopers at the end
Most underrated joke is when they are looking at the wanted posters and Roy says, "Come on, that's not right" and Jackie responds, "I know, I'm not from Shanghai"
Just reading the joke again inside your comment was enough to get a 2nd chuckle out of me. This movie just hits.
Jackie Chan is one of the best action star, physical comedian, martial arts and stuntman I have ever seen. He is just like Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd, Gene Kelly and Jim Carrey. Jackie is similar to these guys whenever he's action and comedy and goofy attitude. But when he did action and serious role but no comedy Jackie is like Bruce lee and Clint Eastwood. Jackie is different to Jet Li. Jet Li is just like Bruce Lee. Stephen Chow is a bit like looney tunes, Jackie Chan and Jim Carrey. So many famous Asian actors from hong kong.
Lets hope the algorithm kicks in and all of our favorite reactor's chim in.
Finally someone does Shanghai Noon reaction. Very different vibe but just as good as Rush Hour. Jackie Chan movies always have two sides, one set in the old times/mythology, and the other having a modern setup like him being a cop. Uno mas? Yes, Shanghai Knights
This movie is a gem, and the sequel is well worth a watch too.
I love this movie, what a great reaction. Who knew the biggest laugh would be for a fart joke in the outtakes 😂. Thanks ladies
The drinking game is using hand gestures as you sing the song, throwing out fingers for the other person to guess, first one to make a mistake drinks, the song is:
One crab with eight feet, painted horns - what a big crab./ Blinking eyes, shrinking head,/ crawling, crawling everywhere./ Two and Two, who should drink?/ Three and three, who drink first?/ Five and Five, who should drink?/ Two and two, you drink first.
And the way you lost it over the deleted scene with the bubble bath nearly broke me.
Jacky is one of the Greatest !!! i watch him since the 80s
This goes well with the 1st Banderas Zoro, the original 3 Indiana Jones's, 90's Mummy and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Shanghai Knights!!!!! ❤
24 years later Jackie Chan and Lucy Liu are still 2 of the only handful of full time working Asian actors in Hollywood in box office films.
a walk to remember
shanghai knights
Jackie Chan - Gods gift to Entertain us ♥️
Jackie is a Planetary Treasure
It's something about people liking Jackie Chan based on what they see on TV and film, but when you read about his private life it changes your perspective.
Yes please, more movie reaction for Jackie Chan's , like rumble in bronx.
These two girls are funnier then movie! :) Good job
Watch a different kind of Jackie Chan movie. "The Foreigner" With Pierce Brosnan. It's not what you would expect. Really good.
I'll watch anything Kristen is in!
Jacky and Owen is a amazing duo. Sucks they didnt do more together
I always thought the same. This was one of my most favorite movies as a kid.
man i wish they don't get old. i want a Jacky Chen movie with Owen and Chris Tucker. the trio will be legendary
What a classic movie
Jackie Chan I love his style cuz it's like a defensive style
I love the peace pipe part
I swear Shanghai Knights is better than Shanghai Noon and I have a deep love for them both.
This VHS was in constant rotation at my house growing up
You guys should definitely check out some Jet Li films like Fearless, Unleashed and Hero
First time I saw Jackie Chan was him with the great late Danny Aiello and beautiful and talented Moon Lee in "The Protector". I loved it, somehow these days the movie seems forgotten. It is a great buddy cop story
Time for Shanghai Knights!!
Poor, poor Luke Wilson. B/c he "doesn't do it" for Kristen, he has been relegated to the scrap heap of the left swipe. Guy probably does charity work on national holidays, sponsors a boat load of orphans, works at a soup kitchen when he can, but he "doesn't do it" for Kristen so... so sorry, Luke! 😂🤪
Doubt that he gives a fuck.
It's the broken nose I think
@@user-wr9on9ff4d Take it easy, chief, it's a joke.
@@Vulcanerdwhere was the joke? Just sounds like you are projecting insecurities
@@user-wr9on9ff4d lol.I doubt his bank account does either. 😂😂
The dog is drunk...
Kristen's sober... No booze needed here! 🤣
Magneto used this line (26:19) when Quick Silver saved him from prison:
I don't know Karate but I know crazy.
the chinese drinking game is a number sequence game where you have to get the pattern right faster and faster till someone messes up and then they drink. basically a musical tongue twister.
Everyone’s reaction to that blooper 😂😂 47:05
This movie is a cult classic and a legendary one, has more parts 😉
My childhood best movie
Chan is a former member of the Chinese Theater Society. One of his personal heroes is Buster Keaton; if you go back to watch some of his work you'll see where Jackie drew many of his influences.
There is a sequel; Shanghai Nights. Not as much physical comedy, but still well worth watching. Set a few years later, in London.
In the early 70s Robert Redford & Paul Newman did Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The ending was a nod to that.
"I don't know karate, but I know crazy." is from a James Brown tune. Young Magneto says the same line in X-Men: First Class.
Shanghai Knights.
Just some good silly fun. Pure popcorn entertainment. Glad you enjoyed it.
Texas... and Florida, Achara. Not really kidding, either.
You beat me to it.
Yeah, I'm in Florida...you're not wrong.
You must be from California
@@andreww1225 I am not.
damn crazy texans
I totally forgot Walton Goggins was in this. Same damn thing happened a few days ago rewatching The Bourne Identity.
I thought he was an unlikable actor that would fade into obscurity but just shows ya what an amazing actor he is. The Hateful Eight made me like him such a good role!
Owen Wilsons brother Luke Wilson is in a movie called idiocracy (2006) its a great comedy @Cinepals
If you enjoyed this film watch Shanghai Knights.
You Legend
THE SECENE AT 30:00 IS A OWDED TO DRUNKEN MASTER........
Watching Kristen's reactions is fun! hahaha
Rob b hood...one of my favorite jackie chan movie
The sequel is awesome too
You know Jaky be hitn that bong
wait until you guys watch the sequel
Y'all better react to the Sequel as well... Shanghai Knights
"Rumble in the Bronx" and "The Legend of Drunken Master" are both must-sees if you like this movie. R.I.P. Anita Mui
SHANGHAI KNIGHTS!!!
I love watching you 2 laughing it’s beautiful 😻
Lucy Lue Best princess
Prefer Luke to Owen....
Shanghai Knight is also hilarious.
Please react to Shanghai Knights, The Medallion, and The Tuxedo ❤❤❤ great movies with Jackie Chan ☺️
where can I watch that movie?
I can't believe I forgot how much fun this movie is!
CAUSE COMPARED TO THE REAL JACKIE CHAN, THIS WAS FORGETABLE! 😑😒
Because of this movie, Uno Mass has joined my family's vocabulary.
I’m not sure what’s worse: the guy using spit to flatten his hair or the sound Kristen made when she saw it happen 🤮🤮🤮
Ok the only reason I am watching this is to laugh with Kristen and her wholesome laughter
Next Shanghai nights
