Hi bro - amazing review, definitely sold! Can you please tell me where you bought your full height bed rack and roof rack from and what brand/model it is? Thanks!
@@nizarfakhoury appreciate it! Promo code thedarkyota saves you some money on the tents and the rack. It’s Xtrusion overland. You can DM on ig if you need help with your rack
It’s my favorite tent so far. Trying the high country now. Bruce is only 80lbs and Kevin is 105lbs or so. I just throw them over my shoulder and start climbing 😂
How is it in the wind? The fabric looks very loose and seems like it would flap around a lot and make noise. It's a sweet looking tent, but to me the screens are backwards. They should be on the outside.
It actually does really well in the wind. It comes with some strut locks to reinforce the struts in heavy winds but I've slept in it with high winds. It's not going to be any louder than most other tents on the market. The screen placement has never been an issue for me and I've never wished them to be reversed before. Tent wise though this thing has been a dream to sleep in in most conditions. 90% of rooftop tents will be somewhat round in the wind but this one doesn't bother me. It shines in so many other areas. Go to their IG, I think they have a video of it in 50mph winds.
The diesel heater is really up to you. No matter the heater I always recommend getting a battery powered carbon monoxide sensor to keep in the tent. I routed mine through the window and front door. Worked really really well. I’ve had this setup in 0° and slept like a rock. For a heater check out casestudy builds on ig.
Hello! How are you doing? I try to Purchase the one like your and use your discount code, but it’s not in the stock, can u find an easy way to buy it for me?
Hey Sean, I checked with FSR for you and they will be back in stock in a week or two. Give them a call and they might let you order one. Just mention my YT video and my code and they should honor it for you.
@@johnkeller6285 more headroom throughout the entire tent and better storage inside. You can keep more in this tent which means less setup and in the morning you have the same height roof across the platform. I also don’t like the idea of a wedge when it’s cold. The cold material is closer to you while sleeping making your bedding colder.
A lot of times camping in a tent, moisture inevitably gets inside and bedding gets damp / musty, we live in a more damp corner of the US but have you run into that at all?
I'm in Colorado but your tent shouldn't be allowing moisture in. Unless it's cold and that's just condensation from people being in the tent. That's very common but if you use a diesel heater it'll take care of that in those colder temps.

@@The_dark_yota done. Thank you!
And its skinny at the top of the ladders, so its better that way you did it too! I do that on my GFC! 😅
This looks like a great tent. We have a Berner too...ours weighs about 120 lbs. How the heck do you get yours into a roof top tent?!

@@The_dark_yota thanks.
How do you connect your diesel heater and which heater do you recommend for this tent?

Where can i buy the awning attachment to the notch?
It’s all from GoFSR
Why did you choose this style of tent vs wedge?

What wrap is on the truck?
Custom wrap by Lucid Wraps in Denver. You can get it from him
Very solid review of an awesome tent. I can't wait for my Gobi rack to get here so i can get out there. Is this the long or short?
Appreciate it! This Is the long
What about in the rain?
Does great in the rain. What’s your actual question
