bought this for my little 10 y/o brother, and he is now hooked! bought more kits then he jumped the gun and asked me about the HG Neo Zeong...

I think so too, especially when the Beyond Global had rather extreme proportions that divided a lot of people
I've been watching hundreds of Gunpla videos for the last couple of months (bought my first model back in October) and I've only now found this wonderful channel. Honestly, this is top tier Gunpla content. Videos are well shot, edited, concise and give cool background information.

I just bought this and after making 4 hg gundam. This was an absolute joy to build and looks great! If you want someone to get into gunpla or build with you I highly suggest you get a couple of these!

At retail price, they're wonderful. I imagine they'd make great tools for learning to paint too

Was amazed how much fun this was. Was satisfying building it without tools and it's articulation is great for what it is.

I have bought this gundam..and i suprise with what it can do...took me 25 minutes to finished it...all i need now is an EG ZAKU
I would buy so many Zakus if they made an EG one...
the anime references are great, as well as indicating the episode for zaku I in the other video - which I wanted to see but too lazy to search the entire series

as someone that have lots of Starscreams littering the house, my spouse is beyond explanation now and just goes with it lol. stumble upon your channel while researching SDEX Nu (conclusion: get the BB Senshi '14 one lol), and your review is great! concise and quite funny at times, keep up the good work!

The BB Senshi #387 Nu Gundam really is a great kit -- lots of stuff out of the box, and the colors look great. It's definitely a solid choice over the SDEX
and also, any spouse that can accommodate a Starscream / RX-78 variant line-up is a keeper:)

One of the first kits I bought when I got back into gunpla after a long break after my first discovery. It’s a very nice kit, but doesn’t really hold up. Wish we got more entry grades.
Not gonna lie, I probably paid too much to buy the prize ones....
I feel you, I came close to buying the grey G3 kit for close to six times the price myself. At least it's still a really nice kit though

I once had this, and the american type. But sadly they both broke. I’m planning on getting a third one, and reinforcing joints with a coat of glue if they get floppy like the last times.

First time hearing about the drama, very eye-opening for me. And yeah, Bandai can be a scumbag more than sometimes.
For the kit, I got it much later after initial release at the retail price. And since the color separation was so good, I painted it to be a RX78--1 easily with mostly with spray cans.
Kinda glad Bandai didn't do (actually, they tried and couldn't do) the same with the EG Strike Gundam. The Nu Gundam though... Bandai's probably going "Alright, third time's the charm"

I wonder if the price of the boxed version has become normal yet or not in other regions. It really was insane when it was released like something in a zombie movie

My main problem with this kit is the looseness of the joints
I own this kit,and its joints have just become loose everywhere
The knees were the worst,so bad I had to glue them so they’d stop the kit from falling over
It’s a great kit,but it really doesn’t last
Ironically,it’s about as stable as the original RG RX 78 after a while
I totally agree. When I reviewed this kit, it was young and fresh and after a year, even on my size comparison one that doesn't move much, the joints feel quite loose. It's a sad price to pay for all the joints being done in polystyrene like the rest of the kit

There is a full weapon version with the beam javelin and gundam hammer and the bazoka form the bazoka version of this kit (I don’t know why they made a version with a bazoka and a version with a beam rifle why not give both like an hg ) the full weapon set also has beam saber blades it’s awesome I want to get it but its $17 I also want to get the American flag version
I know which set you mean. I sure hope people won't fight over it and send the price skyrocketing again... I want to review the weapons for sure, especially the beam javelin

the origin version is missing its yellow pockets.
Oh yeah, I kept them off because I couldn't take them back off for painting. It has a mix of parts of the early and late forms too
They'll get new builders deeper into the hobby and when they buy the MG deep striker they'll felt like it's a bigger disappointment and a waste of money compared to the Tristan.
I actually don't own the MG Deep Striker or know much about it other than it being based on the 2002 S Gundam. Was it not very good?
@@HobbyClubhouse imagine a RE but with a very old innerframe and it cost the same or more than a perfect grade.
It's honestly just overpriced and they never fixed or add anything new to improve the innerframe only some change to some of the outer armor and a new head.
And the things surrounding it including the big gun is RE quality but the build is about as good as an old NG.

@@HobbyClubhouse yeah,but my entry grade is broken in one month because of the ball joint leg broke last year,like damn but I agree it's is a good kit
And also c clips joints have tendency to loose quickly
You know, the same exact thing happened to me just last night as I was shooting. The stalk of the ball joint is offset a little to the ball and that seems to cause it to break
@@HobbyClubhouse yeah,the tips of you buy a entry grade just sand down the peg that connects to the thighs,I can agree it's a good kit but yeah

Look like the entry grade is more colourful and have brighter colour then another
