First look and full build of very first Entry Grade Gunpla RX-78-2. It only costs $7 for buying a kit... seriously?? I was surprised by the quality. Nice silhouette. This kit currently exclusively available at Gunpla Base Tokyo and Fukuoka.
Apparently, EG RX will be released to the public next year. Stay tuned for new information.
Disclaimer: Some people in the comment section told me I'm pro. Thank you, but this is the first full build, and I am a complete amateur. Hopefully, I get better in future videos.

$7 for the Gundam kit. But only paint colour and decals are over $10 already, which excludes the airbrush. I got a lesson from Tamiya 1/24 cars. I bought those cars because of cheap. But once I have to buy paint, spray, masking tapes, extra decals, and so on, it is 2 times more expensive than a model kit.
But this video is cool and I LOVE IT. Great job. Potan Creates is one of the best channels on TH-cam. Cheers.
The thing I really love about Gunpla is that you can put TONS of effort into the cheapest kits and make something amazing.
Or you can just snap fit that PG and call it a day.

I'm almost done with my first time building a Gundam, I went blind and bought a RG of the Zaku II, lets just say mistake were made. I'm on the decal step right now and i'm crying.
It's never about the grade of the kit but the level of the modeler 🔥
This kit is SO much better than it has any right to be. It can hold poses so much better than most of my MGs or RGs.

Very awesome work! As someone curious about the hobby, its great to see just how far a beginner kit can truly go. Great showcase that it isnt all about expensive kits. Theres always room for improvement on the builders side.

Great to hear that! In the video, I used the template as a guide for drafting the panel line. However, it can be used by holding onto a kit by hand or stick with instant adhesive and scribe directly. That way, you can scribe the panel line with more accuracy. Holding by hand will be unstable than using instant adhesive but faster. It requires practice, though.
