    Thanks for making these videos. It's strange that there are no install videos of the oem lips, they look so good.

    I absolutely love the color or your WRX brother!! I’ve only ever seen a handful (3) of WRX’s on Khaki Grey. 💪🏽

    Definitely loving these oem install videos! Can’t wait to see the sideskirt video next. I too just ordered the full sti oem kit for my 2019 wrx sti limited!

    Thanks for the video; looks pretty straightforward. I think I would still be nervous about the thought of having to drill into my car! 😰

      I hear you on the drilling. Good thing is the templates are spot on and you are always drilling in areas that are hidden from view. Same for the front lip and the side skirts that require many more holes. Using the different bit sizes is also key.

    On all spoiler applications, are these a smooth type of plastic, and have a primer finish so paint could be applied? Would want this to come out like a glossy finish. Thanks

    Great video. Do you recall what the part number is for these rear spats?? I looked up the OEM ones and it says it doesn’t fit the 2019?

    Nice series.grey; I'm sad I missed my opportunity to acquire one (new). The recent series.white is nice, but I don't like white cars. How many other rear spat styles did you consider? What drew you to this style?

      I really liked the STI front lip and side skirts and I wanted rear spats to match. That was mainly the decision point in addition to guaranteed fitment. When looking at the aftermarket kits available I didnt see anything better than OEM STI unless you are willing to spend a lot of money on quality CF pieces. My car is a daily driver and I see no point in spending thousands on a CF kit that will likely get damage with use.

    Great tutorial, thanks! Did you experience any gaps with the driver side rear spat due to the provided double sided tape not being strong enough?

    • @NoGaragE30
      @NoGaragE30  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, I do have a slight gap on that side towards the back of the spat. Should be an easy fix with some better tape but I havent bother yet since you cant really notice it. You have to be standing right on top of it looking down to see it. No issues with passenger side.

    • @tmelazzo
      @tmelazzo 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      NoGaragE30 I experienced the same issue, glad to hear I’m not the only one. Would love to see how you mitigate this in the future with better tape. I’ve tried multiple tapes but haven’t been able to resolve it... The Sti OCD is real lol

    • @NoGaragE30
      @NoGaragE30  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hear you on the OCD, Im the same way. Did you try one of the black industrial type tapes? My concern is damaging the paint with something too strong in case I want to remove the spat later. May have to just ignore it. Is your gap really bad?

    • @K03sport
      @K03sport 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      ... Have you tried making a clean edge with black silicone? Use blue tape to make clear, hard lines on the bumper and spat. Then run silicone in the joint. Smooth it with your finger, then remove the tape for crisp, invisible lines.

    Out of curiosity, can you still have mudflaps with these rear spats ?
    I want to buy these, but I'm worried about not being able to use my RA mud flaps .

      I dont think I have ever seen one with both installed, but Im sure it is possible even if it requires slight modifications.

      You may want to consider the OEM aero splash guards if you want color matched. They look really good.

    I got all the oem lip kit,but this is the only oem part i removed and sold,then replaced it with different one.this oem rear spat doesn't suit the flow of the lip kit alltogether and it sitting too high on the rear.it didn't even goes all the way to meet the exhaust finisher.check mine on my facebook to see my setup @ Jack C.
