  • Isaiah Saldivar rejects the gospel of faith alone in Christ alone, and he rejects once saved always saved. This series will show how he misinterprets the scriptures to fit his way of thinking. The video used is titled "God told me some "Christians" will go to HELL." !!! We do not desire to degrade the individual, but rather we desire to expose the error in the teaching in hopes to spread the true message of by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone !!!

Solid question. I appreciate the honest seeking.
We do believe being homosexual is a sin, yes. Nevertheless, lying, stealing, killing and other things are sins. Many people point to homosexuality as a standard by which someone could never be saved, but such thinking is false. If anything, God looks at lying and idolatry worse… Still, the point remains; can they be saved?
      Yes. 100%
Jesus died for all sin of all people of all time. When one believes in Christ as their Savior (that He died for them), they are saved in that moment. They are declared righteous (spiritually). See Romans 4:1-8.
The homosexual does not have to stop being homosexual to go to heaven just like you and I do not have to stop lying, cussing, cheating or whatever to go to heaven. Going to heaven is not via turning from sin. It’s available to all, and anyone who believes in Christ receives eternal life.
Obviously we aren’t against turning from sin. The believer should stop doing sinful deeds, but that is because they are already saved. They were saved by faith alone in Christ alone, but their lifestyle afterwards should represent Christ. They’ll be saved for ever, but living a Christ like lifestyle brings profit to yourself and others, blessings, and rewards.

@@BibleLine with a viewpoint like this on salvation all I can say is Goodluck to you! And for the judgement as a TEACHER you will come under I say Goodluck to you! I say this because I don't want to waste your time or mine telling you what the scripture actually says because you knew it at one time and rejected it. Excellent Preaching Pastor Jesse...Love your videos...I do not see anywhere in scripture where it says it is hard/difficult to be saved...the passages Isaiha. Saldivar quotes are talking about the exclusiveness of salvation not the difficulty of salvation...the narrow gate is Christ there are many other ways that people will try to enter (good works, good works + faith, on and on it goes) ...but, only the narrow gate (belief in Faith Alone in Christ Alone) is the way in. There is no other... It is amazing how they twist so subtly all these verses...and take them out of context...I love what you said about the word strive...You are so right...the only thing difficult about salvation (if anything at all) are the obstacles that are thrown at unbelievers from the devil and false prophets ...I totally agree with you... he is being used of Satan in a mighty way...I pray his spiritual eyes will be open and he will believe what the bible says...this verse is my favorite because it was the first one given to me that really cleared everything up for me when I was an unbeliever:
    Ephesians 2 8:9
For by Grace are you saved through faith and, that not of yourselves, it is the Gift of God not of works lest anyone should boast.
If what Isaiha's is telling his followers in regard to salvation were true, we would all be boasting when we reached heaven because we did something of ourselves to get there... but thank God just the opposite is true or none of us would get in... for what does the scripture say...
    ROMANS 5:6-8
FOR WHEN WE WERE YET WITHOUT STRENGTH, IN DUE TIME CHRIST DIED FOR THE UNGODLY. FOR SCARCELY FOR A RIGHTEOUS MAN WILL ONE DIE: YET PREADVENTURE (the word peradventure means perhaps) FOR A GOOD MAN SOME WOULD EVEN DARE TO DIE. BUT GOD COMMENDETH HIS LOVE TOWARD US, IN THAT, WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US.

When the title of a video begins with "God told me"..... I don't even bother because I know it will be false doctrine.... Great video brother!
It's really sad when people flat out reject what Jesus did in their place... The blood atoning sacrifice for our sins 1 Cor 1:17-31/ Rom 3:21-26
They reject the Gospel of 1 Cor 15:1-4 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. ---> Romans 10:3 In other words they have not put their faith on Jesus finished work on the cross for their sins as the payment in full... It's Christ blood that purchased us as the only means to enter Heaven Acts 20:28.

I just wanted to say another thing that Jesus never said that the way is hard...Jesus said He is the way the truth and life... John 14:6
And... Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matt 11:28-29.
What Jesus did say though is in.... Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it....
Because you can only go to heaven through Jesus....
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 full verse....
And this is when someone believes the Gospel of their salvation ---> 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
    16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
    Eph 1:13-17
Jesus is that narrow gate which you have to believe in his blood atoning sacrifice for your sins... Your faith in Jesus opens that narrow door...
But broad is the way to destruction.... every religion out there who either denies Jesus finished work on the cross as the full payment for our sins or preaches work based salvation....

If you have listened to Isaiah’s testimony of how he came to faith, it is as follows: he was an atheist, his sister urged him to go to church. He went with his friend and his at the time girlfriend. And he was cursing God in the pews and making sexual remarks about the women in the church. Apparently there was an altar call and he goes up and says to God: I don’t F ing believe in you and he says something along the lines of: God if you’re real, I will give you everything. Then he supposedly hears the voice of God saying, : Isaiah I don’t want 99% of you, I want all of you. And that is supposedly how he got saved. Note how none of this included the preaching of the Lord Jesus’ death , burial , and resurrection for the sins of the world and that belief in him would grant you forgiveness of sins and the free gift of eternal life. None of that… I am convinced Isaiah remains an atheist, he started a cult and uses this to manipulate people and make money off of it. I believe all his stories are either twisted versions of the truth or flat out lies. He is a goat who deceived me and many I know, stay away from him.

A lot of sheep who are genuinely looking for the truth but are still in spiritual infancy can get easily distracted by these teachers (I haven’t heard enough from Isaiah to call him false yet). For instance, I used to watch Sid Roth 4ish years ago and now I realize he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I don’t know his heart, but just the way he talks, acts, and prioritizes production and viewership over JESUS and the TRUTH is enough for me to know to stay AWAY. I pray all Christians pursue God and His truth in the word continuously so they may also be able to discern true teachers from false teachers!
Sid Roth has had many people on who preach their own visions and not ones from God. The one guest I remember seeing and whom - I fully believe - loves the Lord our God with all his heart, mind, and soul, is Randy Kay. I fully believe Randy died, went to heaven, and was given a great testimony from God. Heaven is for real I don’t believe, Jesus Calling I don’t believe, but Randy I believe because his testimony doesn’t glorify our desires for what WE want heaven to be like, but it glorifies the LORD’s awesomeness! It is not about how heaven will be so great for us because we will etc etc, but it is so great because GOD and his power is fully revealed!!! We see how little we are and humble we become because we will have no choice before our father God! But that is the point!! The joy is that we don’t deserve to be there, yet God says we belong there and he gave His son so that we may be there with Him forever!! I can’t wait to see Jesus in his full power and light!!❤️❤️

Jesus warned us of false Christs. I always thought that meant someone showing up claiming to be Jesus- it can. But NOW I realize what Jesus meant. He was referring to “false anointed ones”. And Isaiah is a prime example.

What kind of Bible he was reading? I checked the verses myself and I found them completely different in mine, especially Matt 7:22 I noticed was changed in Isaish's bible. almost as if the mention of works by those people called Jesus, "Lord, Lord," were removed.
    Matthew 7 KJV
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I not too long ago fell upon this guy's channel Mr Salvador... And wow you certainly do have to know the word of God to not get deceived by some of these people, there was a lot of things he said that was good and I liked his enthusiasm and what have you But then I Heard him saying things that definitely made me realize he was focused on works... A lot of "don't do this and don't do that" and if you do this and if you do that You're not saved type thing... I think the thing that really deceives people is the same thing that deceived me years ago when my understanding wasn't clear, which was people that spoke with authority and what "seemed" to be a genuine love for God and his word.. The thing about knowing whether or not you're saved, and that you have the holy Spirit..... But the thing about these people who continue down a path of error is that if you really have the holy Spirit, it's not that you can't get something wrong, I've done it plenty of times, it's not even that you can't be deceived but if you get deceived you won't stay there if you have the holy Spirit!! so you have to wonder about these people who continue to follow a lie, whether they are a teacher or someone listening to the teacher... If the holy Spirit isn't pulling you out of it it's either that you don't have the holy Spirit or your life and relationship with God is so quenched that he can't speak to you, you can't hear him.... Both extremely concerning..😢

    • @rebeccaj7164
      @rebeccaj7164 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

Yes exactly! I think it boils down to the fact that the gifts of the Spirit are different to a genuine knowledge of God, salvation and His word. I believe many have an encounter and a touch of God - some go on to truly receive the free gift, whereas others take a path of continually 'working' their way to salvation for the reat of their lives. Both saved and unsaved can have a prophetic gift but the saved clearly are saved. Someone could receive prophecies still yet be dangerously hardened to grace through faith. The trouble with trusting in self is that fear is at the root and until that is gone, someone can remain deceived their whole life. I definitely agree with what you say about the 'authority' though - it's very misleading. Certain preachers sound 'right' to man but in the end their ways are death!

Thank you, Pastor Jesse! I spend a lot of time on TH-cam, usually watching "Christian" videos. I use parentheses because they are not all Christians as I understand the concept. One of my pet peeves is the plethora of videos by "Christian" providers teaching all about why so many "Christians" are going to Hell. Many of the most popular religious teachers have made videos similar to Mr. Saldivar's. It chaps my hide!
Don't they have anything better to do? No, they don't, because it's all about money. As you succinctly put it: "fear sells." I guess these guys sit around planning their next videos and they think, "I don't know enough to accurately teach about other issues in the Gospels and I need to pay the rent, so I'll just cause my brothers and sisters in Christ to doubt their salvation. That'll make me some money."
A couple of times, Mr. Saldivar said, "I don't want no one to go to Hell." I my opinion, this man needs to see to his own education before he presumes to teach others. I don't' claim to be an English teacher but I did learn basic grammar in elementary school. It's not that complicated. Personally, I think many of these "teachers" should learn the correct usage and definitions of English words before they attempt to teach others about God's Word.
One more thing, believing is simple. That doesn't mean it's easy. I completely agree with your teaching that believing is the narrow way. Everyone wants to add to or even effect their own salvation. It's just too hard for many to believe it could be as simple as "believing."
The beauty of the Gospel is that it is so profound that the most intelligent minds can find a universe of meaning within the unfathomable depths of the ineffable tale of Jesus of Nazareth. And yet, the simplest, most humble minds can (even more easily) grab hold of the sublime gift sent to us from Heaven. God bless.

We are to expose and rebuke false teachers. Once someone gets the gospel wrong, then how are they to witness about anything else. He doesn’t have the Holy Spirit nor is he relying on being covered by the blood of Christ. He thinks the salvation that he couldn’t earn, is also one that an imperfect man can maintain. Isaiah is misleading hundreds of thousands. Pray that God would save him and that he would repent.

Isaiah already said it, it’s scary, in the video Ono Diamanté used calling out Isaiah, Isaiah said you serve God out of fear. What a terrible way to live, living under condemnation, scared, fearful, would lead to so much stress and depression that you might go to hell. WHY? Because Isaiah says Jesus isn’t enough and it puts the trust/work/righteousness onto you.
I’m so glad I have 0% to do with my salvation but to believe one time event.
I like what Ono Diamanté said when calling out Isaiah, “ you’re not good enough to earn salvation but somehow you’re good enough to maintain it, guaranteed if you could lose eternal life you WOULD”.

You will only live under condemnation feelings if you are living in willful habitual sin. If you stop practicing willful habitual sin the feelings of condemnation will stop. Those who are not living in willful habitual sin do not live under feelings of condemnation because the Holy Spirit witnesses to them that they are pleasing God. The terrible feeling one has when practicing willful habitual sin is allowed by God to drive us to repentance while we are still living. Because a professing Christian who dies in willful habitual sin will be rejected by God on the day of judgment. Do not be deceived. We are warned many many times about willful habitual sin in the new testament. We are not saved by works. And by works that means the things we do for God's kingdom..i.e.....feeding the hungry..clothing those who need clothes...visiting the sick..paying tithes..church attendance..etc...but we HAVE to live holy. Holiness is not a work. Holiness is the proof we believe the gospel and that Jesus is Lord. Those who do not strive to live holy do not live God..they love sin

You are twisting scripture to make it say what you want it to.
Where in scripture does it say HAVE to live holy? It doesn’t.
Jesus said you MUST be born again. You SHOULD live holy. Do you see the difference?
ALSO God sees turning from evil ways as work- read the book of Jonah.
You’re trusting in your own righteousness. Obviously you don’t think being born again is instantaneous, but a journey of perseverance. Or you think you can lose salvation, but then Matthew 7, Jesus says I NEVER KNEW YOU. So that cannot be a believer who lost salvation.
Good luck if you think you can live your life sinless, NO CHANCE!!
Trust in Jesus for ALL sin paid, past, present and future.
It’s totally asinine to think you weren’t good enough to earn your salvation but now somehow your good enough to maintain it.
How you live has nothing to do with going to heaven if it did no one would go and if your honest you’ll know that’s true.

      Okay.
What about “whatsoever is not of faith, to him it is sin?”
What about “to him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is sin?”
Hop off the pride horse. You are a sinner until you die. You will never attain to the standard of righteousness of God. This is why faith alone in Jesus Christ saves a man.
The believer who continues in darkness, sin and unbelief (having already believed) will still be saved, but he will be lacking rewards and blessings. He will have little fruit to show at the Judgment seat of Christ. Still saved nonetheless.

Funny Ono diamanté just did a video where Ray Discomfort is asked the question if he sins.
You should see his answer, absolutely absurd. He tries to redefine any possible sin he would do as unwilling as opposed to willful or practicing. So the sins he does won’t count as sin or accidental sin, won’t receive punishment or judgment for any of his sins.
This is what their theology makes them come up with, because if they’re honest they know they still sin, they’re not as holy or righteous as they think they are. Impossible to make the flesh perfect.

@@BibleLine in all due respect to you what about the warning Paul gave in 1cor 6 9-11? He told the CHURCH, those who already accepted Jesus, to Not Be Deceived, that fornicators, covetous people, homosexuals, etc. would not inherit the kingdom of God? Therefore Paul was tell BELIEVERS that it was possible for them to fall into the deception of believing that they could go back into these sins habitually and still inherit the kingdom because they were Believers. Paul was warning Believers not to go back habitually into the things they WERE cleansed of and think they would still inherit the kingdom. I write these comments in love alone for my brothers and sisters in Christ. There is no other way to interpret this passage UNLESS PEOPLE TWIST IT TO FIT THEIR DOCTRINE. Guys this is serious. Every true Christian knows in their hearts that these things are true. God disciplines His children when they go back habitually into these types of sins so that they might repent and be saved on that Day. The reason Christians feel horrible when they go back into these sins is God is disciplining them to repent. But it's a wrong teaching to try to cover these horrible feelings with the doctrine that it doesn't matter what sins I commit after I have believed that I cannot lose my salvation. Listen guys Jesus said there would be so much deception in the last days and si many false teachers and false prophets that even the elect could be deceived. Please brethren I say this in love. Before it's too late repent of these habitual deliberate sins before it's too late. Grace is the divine enablement from God to resist sin and live holy. Not the licence to keep on sinning habitually deliberately and Grace will cover it. Please heed this warning. Our souls depend on it. Read the whole counsel of Paul on salvation and not just one verse. I say these things out of love not condemnation for I am in the same boat as everyone else.

However, because of the many references to sin in that passage, it feels like I cannot completely settle on that I'm very confused.

Makes me believe you don't have to be a believer to do that since Demons flee at the name of Jesus whomever is proclaiming it.

Salvation is by Grace because no amount of effort can pay for the blood of Jesus. In all comparison to the best of efforts it is like rotten meat, However living in Holiness and serving God is not works, its actually loving Jesus like he said " If you love me follow my commandments" Paul says to work in our salvation with fear and trembling. There are many examples in the bible of people who left the faith such as Judas, Annanais , Saphira, Demas. DO NOT BELIEVE ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED. This is not what the bible teaches. If you take one verse out of context you might support your point , however you cannot silence all the verses thar prove otherwise. Look at the parable of the unwise servent who is thrown into outer darkness, or the parable of the fish, who are the fish in the net? Those that come to church from the REAL CHURCH, those who listen to his voice. God will split the Sheep from the Goats, this is the split of the Church, so like Jesus said "Strive to enter through the norrow gate" The Lord is merciful by giving us the Gift of repentance and creating time in Eternity. Cleanse yourself and be prepared for he is coming soon! Jesus is coming! You only follow the bible you can become a pharisee they also only followed Scripture you follow only Prophets you can become like Balaam who loved money and false prophecy. We have Both the Scripture and the Spirit of Truth to guide us. God bless you all.

@BibleLine *Jesse Question from the 10:20 mark of the video
Does all of this essentially mean (in belief) that if I commit a sin, and believe in what Jesus did for me. That it is *key* to not self-shame/sabotage my self-esteem about my choices. Because I *Believe* that upon my death. Jesus will come to resurrect me, as he did by giving himself for me?
    Or in another analogy...
When Jesus dropped me off at school (Life) and said to me. "I will be back here to pick you up when you get out of school at a particular time. (Life)" That I, in that case in good true faith & belief will trust Jesus will pick me up from school when its time for me to get out? Is essentially the key requirement in all of this confusion?

I understood what pastor Isaiah Saldivar said, because it is written in the Bible. Matt. 7:21 - 23 Those who didn't live a holy life will never enter in the kingdom of God. And without holiness no one will see the Lord. ( HEB. 12:14.. Meaning fake Christians are not going to hell, but those genuine believes who believes and live a holy life will enter the the kingdom of heaven.

I have a question 🙋🏿‍♀️ How does John 3:36 line up with your reaction to this video? From what I understand the Pharisees of Jesus time were rebuked for placing a strict emphasis on the importance of our works. My understanding would venture to say Jesus was rebuking Legalism in it's formative years. Matthew 23:25 is Jesus rebuking Pharisees for being more worried about outside appearances than the condition of the heart and the obedience to God's will. So my conclusion would be that while works cannot equal salvation, our works, fruit, character is very much subject to God's judgment. I'd love to hear you unpack this. I believe this topic is very important. Thank you in advance for your response! God Bless you and Keep You! ❤

He didn’t not say difficult is the way. That’s an NIV bad translation. Difficult implies we have something to do with our salvation but it’s a free gift by faith. Matthew 7:14 KJV - “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Just found your videos and I'm liking them immensely. I would like to point out that I looked up Matthew 7:13 and didn't see where in the scripture there was a root word used for "strive" in the scripture or the original Greek. I checked the 1611 KJV, NIV, and the ESV. none of which had a correlation with a root word in the Strong's concordance. He has listed Matt 7:13 but quoted Luke 13:22, so i looked up the Strong's concordance for "Strive" there and it means to struggle. If you look at the definition for "struggle" it means "to proceed with difficulty." Jesus said many times that following Him would be difficult in this life. I don't believe that struggling could be considered "works" in this context. I looked him up in google and found the church he claims to attend and their statement on salvation in their "We Believe" section does not support Isaiah's statement here on "Striving" (working) to enter the narrow gate. It states that "Salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned through our own efforts." Not sure why he's using a translation with added words that weren't present in the original Greek. Its important to understand that Jesus IS the narrow gate. The "entering" of that narrow gate is accepting the gift of salvation through grace alone by faith. Jesus also has told us repeatedly that our works will not give us salvation and equated them to dirty rags. When He said to them "depart from me, I never knew you" he is saying that you did not accept what he did for you on the cross as the complete payment for your sin... you still tried to work for it. It doesn't mean that we should negate the call to repent, but repenting alone is nothing if you don't accept the gift of salvation through grace alone by faith. God bless you all.

I have an honest question. I've seen some of your videos regarding "works/fruit doesn't show you're saved or not". Honestly, I know some of the things the Calvinists believe are pretty confusing (like the concepts of "genuine faith" and stuff). I also believe that salvation is by faith alone. But I have a problem and a concern with this: if someone says they believe in Christ, but continue to live in sin, with no regard of Jesus' commandments and stuff, do you think they've been born again? do you think their profession of faith is genuine? I understand there's the category of carnal Christians. And that's true! But what about all the passages of scripture that talk about "hypocrites" or "apostates"? What about the whole book of Hebrews? Are the passages of Hebrews not warning these "fake Christians"? I mean, they literally say that people will not scape if they neglect the salvation, that God isn't pleased in people who shrink back...

    • @BibleLine
      @BibleLine  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Solid question.
Yes, salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone. I’m glad you know this, and you recognize carnal Christianity as being a true fact.
It is a terrible shame for a believer in Christ to fall away into apostate or carnal living behavior. We do preach against such because there are great warnings against it (such as Hebrews and Corinthians).
The main thing to remember is that the believer receives full forgiveness of all sin. See Acts 13:38-39 and Roman’s 4:1-8. Once your sin is forgiven, you are no longer condemned. You are passed from death to life, and you possess eternal life.
Hebrews is really warning against Jewish Christians going back into the sacrificial system as though Jesus’ payment was not sufficient. They believed, but they lost sight of Jesus being enough. That’s the main reason for the warnings. They neglected the original way they were saved and instead went backwards to looking at the blood animal sacrifices.
The consequences of such warnings is never loss of salvation, false conversion or hellfire. The consequence is sickness, sorrow, physical death, loss, and etc…
I hope this helps. Please ask more if you desire clarification, specifics or think something is still off. I appreciate honest comments like yours.

      @miarymr8337 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@BibleLine Hello! I appreciate your answer. I agree with most of it. The fact that Hebrews may be talking about animal sacrifices. And that for saved people, sinning brings sickness, sorrow, etc. Although I've never thought about it that way, it makes sense and it's biblical. However, I can't help but think there is something missing; I hope you can tell me what you think.
Do you think that there are people who say they believe in Christ but maybe have never really believed? I'm saying this because of:
      1. "OSAS" can be seen in the Bible. And believing is what you have to do to be saved. And that's literally everywhere in the Bible.😅
      2. But there's another thing that's also in different points of the Bible. It basically conveys the idea that a true believer will inevitably show fruit and obey Jesus, like John 14: 15, 15:10; 1 John 5:3 ... and also, 'Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. ' Hebrews 3:12-13 (Which gives me the feeling that "unbelief" ends up, sadly, in apostasy...)
My point is, that even though the Bible does support OSAS, it also warns against people professing Christ and ultimately departing and not necessarily ending up in heaven :( Maybe they never truly believed? Do you agree with this?

    • @BibleLine
      @BibleLine  ปีที่แล้ว +1

@miarymr8337 I don’t agree with you on that. I don’t think there is a line between “professing Christians” and “believing Christians.” Assuming these “professing” ones have the gospel correct, then it is assumed they profess what they have already believed. Nevertheless, a person doesn’t have to out loud profess, call, manifest, speak or tell anyone anything in order to be saved. Believing is accepting the facts of the matter as true. Therefore, to believe in Christ is to change your mind from unbelief to belief in Christ; you believe that He DID die for YOUR sin.
If someone believes in Christ, and they end up tell me they have done such; I can no reason to suggest they aren’t saved. The amount of fruit or lack thereof is not the determining factor of their salvation.
      Will they be convicted? Yes
      Will they be chastened? Yes
Will they obey? Up to them.
Will they fall short? Most likely.
If salvation was proved or determined by the amount of fruit you bear, then we automatically fall short because no one (with a sinful nature - so everyone by God himself) can actually bear fruit to the standard of righteousness before God. This is why Jesus had to die. We can’t keep the law, the standards and the righteousness needed to be perfect.
This is why Jesus ate with publicans and sinners. The Pharisees believed their own righteousness was enough. Fruit as proof or evidence of salvation is a modern day Pharisee notion. You are ultimately looking at yourself.
Why do I serve God? I look to the cross.
Why am I saved? I believed in what Jesus did on the cross for me.
How do I know I’m saved? He keeps me saved according to that initial faith in Christ. I hope this helps, honestly.

Amen! Those who have trusted only in Christ to be saved from their sins cannot be those knocking to get in. Why? Because scripture says we're *already* in! That's what these passages below teach. We are already in, not waiting to be. Our body is still here, but will one day be changed when Christ returns for us (1 Cor. 15:50-52), but the spirit born of God is already in heaven with Him and through Him. We are spiritually joined (quickened with) Christ for eternity.
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: Ephesians 2:5-6
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Colossians 1:12-14

He lied if he said God told him some Christians go to hell. God didn't say that to him either from the Bible and certainly not out loud. If he heard someone saying that to him is wasn't God, but a demonic spirit. That's why the Bible talks about "doctrines of demons". You just witnessed an actual example of that very thing.
