    This beautiful girl has an amazing tutorial on how to achieve a blowout on her own head, & y’all are mad and coming after her and her JOB because she said it may not work for curly hair??? If it works for you, CONGRATS! WE ARE SO PROUD. seriously, no sarcasm. If you achieved beautiful hair how you WANT, don’t make her feel bad about what she said, she’s probably clapping for your success. I hope y’all have a wonderful hair day, sheesh the negativity is disgusting.

      I have both and the revlon works great and dries faster but i noticed how hot the revlon tool gets and was causing damage to my hair even with heat protectant. I think they are both good but people need to be careful with this tool. I have no such damage or extreme heat with the dyson tools- blow dryer and air wrap.

    Curly girl here and let me tell this brush is a life saver. It’s the only straightening tool I use now. I almost never have to use a fleet iron. I use a flat throughout the week for touch ups. 20/10 recommend for curly girls

      I just got a price drop notification from google it said it was 15.99 at Walmart. I went to the website as soon as that notification popped up and its was 38.99. Thinking about getting this though 😭 do you guys rough dry your hair first? I read somewhere you need to dry the hair 80% or so before using it. I need this bc my dumb ass is avoiding working out because I dont wanna style everyday 🤣😂

    • @ItalianGoddess26
      @ItalianGoddess26  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't rough dry, I would just let it air dry a little, but if your hair is curly I wouldn't dry it too much beforehand so it doesn't get frizzy

    Watched this great tutorial, bought a Revlon as soon as Pandemic made it impossible to get my 2x weekly DryBar blowouts on my thick coarse hair -- while I will never be able to get pro-calibre sleekness, this tool has made it possible to walk around without feeling like a giant Q-tip head. Thank you, Samantha and thank you Revlon, so totally worth the investment. I have not touched my 3 times-as-expensive Super Solano dryer since.

    I want to let people know this also smooths my very curly hair. I understand that you need to let people know that it might not work for all, but it does for me! My biggest problem is that it makes it so soft and smooth that I keep wanting to touch my hair.

    I have 3a curly hair and the Revlon totally smooths it out with tons of body. It looks like a salon blowout. I know exactly what you mean though that for people that may have curlier hair texture then 3A ..really tight curls you may need to still smooth it out with a flat iron. Thanks for the review and Happy New Year1

    The only thing with me is my roots, when using products like these.... I really just wanna be able to get my roots good and in these videos when they blow dry, u don't get completely close to ur roots and ik that everyone has different textured hair which mine definitely is I'm just hoping that these all in one dryers can really get my roots but if not then it's no biggie if I have to run my flat iron on them but I will say I like how she put her middle 2 rollers up after she got done blow drying, that gave me an idea for my own soo, much appreciation for this video definitely purchased this myself and look forward to good results.... 🖤

    I want the drybar one because short of paying $600 for dyson, I trust their technology and brand with having their blow dryer for years to not burn my hair! They say the Revlon gets really hot. I also have curly hair (3b for reference) and this straightens my hair fully! I wait until my hair is 80% try and it works- just be careful because it can get very hot. But maybe it’s harder to achieve this for smaller curls, but it’s worked for me.

    Wonderful video thank you!
    Curly hair experience: I had bought it to use after I got well did my own keratin Brazilian blow out treatment thank you to youtube which was much safer then when I use to use do my own Japanese hair straightening which ruined my hair. Well I was impressed how nice my hair was simply after that - I still straightened it though as its recommended with the product I used. I have naturally crazy Hagrid from Harry Potter hair when I brush my curls out. My daughter has the same yet some how more course to the point it looks dead and damaged when I straighten it. She hates her curls, and I remember feeling the same... so I am not opposed to her straightening it. When I straighten her hair it looks dull dry frizzy and the roots will start curling on their own half way through the day. So tonight we decided to use this on her hair and wow... her hair was frizz free silky straight with a little swoop curl at bottom and volume. She was so excited saying she had never seen her hair so shiny and soft. It definitely might be more difficult for extreme curls, but my daughter has perfect ringlets but like mine it poofs into a giant hagrid frizz ball. Just would hate to see someone pass up on trying this thinking it absolutely won't tame their hair and even make it straight. The metal of the brush gets so so hot I feel like it acts as an iron in a way like a double whammy.
    Anyways thanks for the wonderful tutorial =)

    I'm biracial, and have a curl type 2C/3A/3B. My friend is not mixed, African American, has kinky 4A/4C and when I use this on myself on the rare occasion I do, and my friend, I get the hair straight and with body, as if I used a flat iron, but with the body you lack when you use one. So... Yeah not always true with everyone ❤️

    Oh, thank you for this video. I bought the Revlon Blow out dryer around the same time you did last Fall. I wrap my hair in a towel, put my make up on, then apply my hair products, blow dry a little with my regular blower and then start styling my hair with the Revlon styler, similar to you. I have fine hair and only use the Hottest setting to begin then bring it down to low, then cool to set. I like the product, it works well. I did learn a few tips which I will try today when I am doing my own hair, like sectioning it. I also put a few large rollers on top of my head to give more volume. I should use my Oribe texturing spray more often, thanks for reminding me. I use Garnier Sleek and shine on my ends and Shuga volumizing mouse on my scalp and ends. Thank you for this lesson. I am third generation 100% Italian. Ciao.

      C. Hellard - I finally found someone (Barbarella in South Milwaukee) who knew how to cut the 1940s Middy haircut (like a U or horseshoe shape.) I agree with you unless it is a rockabilly hair salon I can explain the whole haircut and all I ever got for ten years was a straight bob or a long in the front bob. They say they can do it but they can't. Not one hairstylist in ten years offered to find out how to cut it.

      Cosmetologist here! My favorite way to give more of a “V” shape is to split the hair down the middle, and bring it to the front. Cut it all in the front. Kinda of like one long face frame, and when you bring it to the back, it’s a V shape.
      For more of a “U” shape, a really easy hack is to have the client put their chin to their chest.. then cut a straight line. When client looks up, the line then becomes a U shape and I perfect it from there! :)

    I think the reason why it didn’t smooth out your ends is bc you let your hair air dry for so long maybe ?

    • @Heyimvalarie18
      @Heyimvalarie18 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think so... I don't recommend letting hair dry that long for a smooth blow out, didn't learn that either, but I guess that's what they teach dry bar employees.

    I'm a stylist as well, and I know you said your ends were damaged but it seems like you were really struggling to get them in. I'm guessing its because your haircut is super choppy and unblended. You should try blending them in and you would get better results. You have serious shelving going on.
