This is exactly the video I was hoping to find, also you're so gorgeous! I like how you went straight to the point and showed all the steps, love your hair!
I purchased it and I love it!! You can always use it on the low setting if you don’t want to put so much heat on your hair. I have layers in my hair and it works just as great on my shorter layers!
Thank you for this video!! As a white girl with thick, curly, frizzy long hair, I’m always super frustrated with videos/products that advertise “good for curly hair” or “good for thick hair” and then they only show white girls with smooth hair. My hair actually resembles yours and your experience pretty much matches mine. Now to browse your other videos to see what products you use :)
I know the struggle girl! Thanks so much for watching! I’m so glad u found it helpful and I hope how I worded what I said, wasn’t offensive! I think it came out wrong 🤦🏽♀️ lol
@@LeaToshiye nope not offended at all. I think you were spot on. There is never enough diversity in product advertising and videos - it’s not a good product IMO if it only works on smooth, mostly straight hair 🤷🏻♀️
Great video! Just a tip for everyone who has long, thick, frizzy hair (like me)... make sure you let your hair air dry about 80% before using it and use a good spray in conditioner/heat protectant right before. It will cut the drying time in half and less damage. It will come out super smooth!
Yes! 100% agreed! My hair was basically try and then I just re-wet it slightly with water. It would take 10 years to blowout if it was straight out of the shower 😆
this is the exact video i was looking for. most of the ones i found are girls with think straight/wavy hair but u have the same kind of hair as me LMAO. love how honesty u were too. ty for this video omaga
Oh also, I use mine on dry hair because with our curly hair, it pulls on the bristles and bends them. By using dry hair, it’s better and straightens the hair better with out texture
I just bought one and played with it today !!! OMG it’s the best!!!! I have curly hair a little bit more curly than hers and a little bit above bra length. It works so good and so fast!!!!! I found the best result with going in with the cool setting like she said and then switching to hot. I love this tool !!!!
Exciting!! I’m so glad u love it! I do too! It’s become one of my favorite ways to wear my hair too instead of super straight or curled! Thanks for watching love! 🤍🤍
Thank you for this video! I couldn't find anyone with coarse thick curly hair like mine to see if it actually worked. Like you said, most other videos are of people with thin hair that's already straight.
Beautiful boo!! Thanks for the review! I just bought it to try for the holidays. Only other suggestions I have that I'm going to try is starting with the top section of hair that way your arms don't get tired until you reach the bottom section which isn't as important/visible. Also going to try putting each section in a roller to keep the shape and smoothness as long as possible. Fingers crossed!!
Watched this video a year after I bought the brush because I just couldnt get it to work on my thick wavy Egyptian hair! I could never get my roots to dry because I used the highest setting and didnt want to burn my scalp or damage my hair..But after watching your video, drying my hair and roots with the cold setting then switching to the hot, brilliant! I can actually get pretty close to my scalp and go over the roots as much as I wish, then quickly smooth it with the hot.. THANK YOU!
wooooow, girl...I have VERY similar hair - it's longer but always used to be super frizzy wiithout putting TONS of product in it to keep my curls up, and just got my 'covid hair' cut...my stylist gave me an awesome blowout, and I couldn't believe it...I always HATED the flat iron, made it look dead. I think I'll try this out, thank you so much for the review - people don't usually have my type of curly, thick, frizzy hair! AWESOME to see!
Of course! I’m so glad u found it helpful! I agree, the flat iron can make it so dull & flat (for a lack of a better word lol) and a blowout gives it so much more body & volume! I hope it works well for you!!
So glad I found this video! I just ordered this and had no idea it could work with the cool setting 😲 I've never used a blow drying tool before so I think that'll be very helpful to keep me from damaging my hair too much
My hair is 36" long just as thick and frizzy as yours. I'm glad I found your reviews I was worried I Wouldn't find someone with my hair type. Thank you for that !!! 💖💖
I love this brush. I didn't buy it before thinking people showing it had very thin and straight hair and mine is pretty much like yours. However, I'm blown away by it. Great video and tips.

Im Puerto Rican and Venezuelan have thick wavy frizzy hair and my go to was always using a flat iron but my hair stylist recommended using this brush, I was skeptical bc of my hair texture so I looked up videos and it was all like thin hair or straight hair girls using it until I found your video lol Thank you!! :)
White girl here. Buttttttt, unfortunately I don't have the stereotypical white people hair. Mine is thick, kinky, course, frizzy. So glad to find a straight to the point video with someone with similar hair! Also, you're gorgeous!
Lol I feel you.. I wish I had stereotypical Asian hair! Or honestly more curly hair..if my genes would just pick a side! 😂 I’m so glad u found the video helpful and didn’t take offense to what I was trying to say. Aw thank you so much!! ❤️❤️❤️
I just bought this tool after wanting it for a year. My hair is just passed my shoulder, but I have THICK, wavy, frizzy hair. I’m hoping this will help. You would think I’d bust this out the box right away but not yet. I guess It intimidating since I rarely do my hair. Anyway. This is my fist video I watched by you and now I’m subscribed. Let’s get you to 10k this year!!!
I think it will help a lot on your hair! And trust me, it’s a lot easier than it looks when you’re using it. You got it girl! Thanks for watching & subscribing! 💜
Mahalo for this video, I have super long thick, Polynesian hair and have been wanting to get this. It’s on sale rn at Costco, titanium with 2 brush barrels. To make it smoother, going in one direction would be better. If u go under and back then change direction over and forward it tends to create 2 patterns and less smoothness. I understand why u did this; to dry both sides, smaller sub sections help. Your video helped me make a decision and understand what works. Thank u so much 🙏🏼💜
Thank you for this!! I know I'm watching a year later but I just got the dryer and didn't have a great first attempt. My hair is long, wavy, and frizzy. It did not come out smooth looking and I just used a flat iron after to help it. But I think I'll try again with my hair less wet and do the cool mostly with the heat at the end.
i agree with not getting my hair to look like that with a blow dryer and a round brush bc i suck at it so this product def made it so much easier and i finally got the blowout looked ive wanted
I have really thick and curly hair and I really don’t like straightening my hair because it always dries my hair but I feel a lot more confident with straightened hair, also it takes me 2 hours to completely straighten my hair and I was really interested to see if this would work 🙃
My natural hair texture is also course and wavy, so this was really helpful! Thank you. Looks really pretty, but seems like it would take just as much effort as using a round brush and blow dryer for me. I appreciate all the detail you included!
Of course and thank you for watching! I think the main thing that helps it just having the brush and dryer in one hand but you could be right! I haven’t blown my hair out with a blow dryer and round brush in years just bc it takes so long and never comes out as smooth for me 😩 but some people are skilled at that! lol
Hey Girl, I have short asymetrical bob with french bangs - this does miracles with my hair and works as a charm on event the shortest hair back above my neck (I have the Titanium Pro version of the Revlon One Step)
Found and got this at Costco today for my 32in hair and was worried it wouldn’t work on long hair, but seeing it worked on you I feel better about buying it lol haven’t tried it out just yet.
@@charliemcsweeney it mostly makes it straight, the ends do curl a little though! If I go straight from the top roots and twist it, it gives volume up at the top, which is also really nice!
I am so glad to see your review. I am white, but I have long, thick, curly, frizzy hair. I just both the same hair dryer and I'm planning to try it out tonight.
I am a mixed race. I have curly hair and was so excited to watch this review. Your hair type was closer to mine and was really looking forward to it. The start of your video mentioning white girls and the way you spoke I find really disappointing. I dont feel race needed to be mentioned in this video. Aspecially seeing as your hair appears to be wavey. Unsure if you had pre brushed out curls or not. Love your channel and your reviews and understanding you have your opinion but I have white friends with intense curls that would of benefited from this video if those comments where not on the opening.
Great video! Question: I like you usually let my hair air dry, then go in with a flat iron. I tried this Revlon tool and it definitely took me a LOT longer than the flat iron (and arms did get tired!)... I guess the advantage is less damage than the flat iron? Or do you feel you get a better result? Just curious what your experience is. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and sorry for my late response! The flat iron is faster if my hair is already dry but it does make it faster if I had to also dry my hair and style it. And the brush gives my hair a different result and feel if that makes sense! It’s smoother and softer than using a flat iron! I do love my flat iron tho lol it’s just a bit different in my opinion! Thanks again for watching!! 🤍🤍🤍
im white but i have SUPER thick SUPER wavy hair. i used it for the first time today and i have mixed feelings. I feel like it left the top of my head really kind of frizzy and did not flatten out the kinks at all. So i was kind of disappointed because i have a lot of wave near the roots of my head that this just didnt straighten out very well. With a little practice i feel like i could make this faster than a straightener, and I'm glad it was only 40$ because im not completely sold on it. I feel like id give it a 3/5. I do feel like theres less damage than a straightener just because my hair still smells like product whereas my straightener leaves it smelling burnt.
Haha, I'm a super pale white blonde, with big, voluminous, frizzy hair like you. Thank you for the video. Got to see it works with my hair structure as well.
You sound STUNNING! Thank you for understanding my wording.. I totally didn’t mean to offend anyone 😩 thank you so much for watching & im glad you found it helpful!! 💗💗
I just bought this and am excited to try it! White girl here haha but my hair is like yours. VERY thick, VERY curly, frizzy, and hard to tame. Have yet to find a product that truly works for my hair (even though they say it does..yeah right). Thanks for doing this review!!
I like that you’re straight honest and mentioned these informations. That’s why I liked ur video. I just wanted to know did it make it shiny and soft ?
I recently bought this.its very cool but after using the style gone with in 10 minutes...how can i maintain the style without hairspray ( because it makes my hair not nice)
Might be white but finally found someone with the same thiccccc wavy frizzy hair type. So frustrating that it took me so long to find someone with a similar hair type doing reviews
I'm a white girl but have thick wavy hair. And everyone I see who uses it has straight thin hair. I dont even blow dry regularly cause it takes so long. So thanks for this review. I'm wanting to buy it but hesitant.
I feel you lol also a white girl but with very thick curly/wavy hair, my natural hair doesn't even look natural if that makes sense. Just brought the brush hoping it makes my hair washing days much easier to style and dry
I'm Italian with lots of long, curly, thick hair! This video was so helpful, and I am planning on getting the product because of your recommendation. Thank you! And I subscribed to your channel, 'cause it's aaaawesome!
Hi everyone i have a question I purchased mine about two weeks ago it was on sale at Canadian tire but I noticed that some stores have different packages with different instructions on the box just wondering why that is and I’m wondering if there are fake ones that they sell too at different places i hope I didn’t end up getting a fake one because in all of the reviews that I’ve watched before purchasing it they all claim that it gets really hot now i only used mine twice for like 5 min since i bought it but I didn’t notice that its too hot
Hey, I hope you see this soon! I wanted to order this exact one from Amazon, but seen a lot of “malfunction issue” comments. Is yours still holding up or has it burnt out or anything?
Thank you! For my haircut, I usually just get trims and even out my layers. I’ve had this same haircut for a very long time! I have a lot of layers bc my hair is extremely thick and course so if it’s one length or long layers, it’s too heavy and looks crazy lol I actually cut my hair myself for like 3 years so now, my hairdresser just touches up what I had been doing :)
Lol if your hair looks like then your picture then it’s beautiful! Ya, all the reviews I saw were white girls with straight hair. I WISH my hair was straight/easy to tame too!
Thanks for this! I too am in the wavy/curly club, though with low density and fine hairs with tons on flyaways. The roots is my problem area, but I noticed you don’t go very close to the roots. Can you say anything about how the drying is close to the scalp?
I actually do go all the way to the scalp but when it’s on the hot setting you gotta do it quick bc it’s REALLY really hot lol u can always use product for your fly always! 💜
Lol, I thought it was big and heavy too. The bristles bent so I got the hot tools one that has a longer cord and feels an it better. A friend of mine just got a titanium version that revlon came out with and apparently it’s a smaller barrel which I then assume is light and can handle detailing. So for your short layers, maybe it’s even better?
Ooo I’m definitely gonna have to try that one! My hair is short now and I’m still playing around with different things for short hair so thank you for sharing!! 😍🤍
I have a cheaper version of that kind of dryer. I don't think it takes me 45 minutes maybe 1/2 an hour and I have longer hair than yours, mine is waist length. But I am white. Maybe it took so long because you used the cool setting otherwise they are super quick. Or it could be because your hair is coarser than mine.
Hi love!! I really love this video! I just purchased one and I can’t wait to use it!! Quick question … what is the name of your hairstyle? That’s the kind of haircut i want but don’t know how to tell my hairstylist lol

Thanks!
this product is the most suitable here. amzn.to/2J79dqN
Thank you! It makes me hair so soft!! My hair isn’t the shiniest no matter what I do but finishing oils help! 🤍
My hair is exactly like yours, needed really to see this video...thank u so much
You’re welcome! I’m so glad it helped!

I recently bought this.its very cool but after using the style gone with in 10 minutes...how can i maintain the style without hairspray ( because it makes my hair not nice)
Hey girl. Loved your video. Just curious what type of hair cut so you have ? Layers?
Sorry for the late reply! Thanks for watching! I just have a haircut with layers starting from my chin all around not just the front!
I have thick, course, curly hair and I cannot figure out how to use it and make my hair smooth. Maybe I’m not using the right products?
We have the EXACT same hair I’m so happy I found this review thank you 🥰❤️
So glad you made this video I have the same type of hair as you do, but more unruly. Great review/ tutorial ☺️
I’m so happy you found it helpful!! Thanks for watching! 💜
Might be white but finally found someone with the same thiccccc wavy frizzy hair type. So frustrating that it took me so long to find someone with a similar hair type doing reviews
Absolutely needed this review clapped at your intro exactly !
I’m so glad you liked it!! 🧡
I’m a white girl with the same hair type as you. Came here to see if it works on OUR hair. Thanks for making it.
Yes i love to see it! 🙌🏽 thanks for watching!! 💜
Wondering why u do the cool setting first?
No offense taken lmao. My hair is like yours, but shorter. I am glad I found your channel. New subscriber!
I’m so glad!! Thanks so much for watching & I’m happy to have you as a new subscriber!! 🤍🤍🤍
I'm a white girl but have thick wavy hair. And everyone I see who uses it has straight thin hair. I dont even blow dry regularly cause it takes so long. So thanks for this review. I'm wanting to buy it but hesitant.
Jessica Colby yes thick wavy hair! I honestly love it! It’s my go-to now over flat ironing it!
I feel you lol also a white girl but with very thick curly/wavy hair, my natural hair doesn't even look natural if that makes sense. Just brought the brush hoping it makes my hair washing days much easier to style and dry
steakorchicken let me know how u like it!! I’m excited for you!!
@@LeaToshiye thank you!! :)

Hey can u please tell me the name of haircolor?
what haircolor is this i love it
Hey, I hope you see this soon! I wanted to order this exact one from Amazon, but seen a lot of “malfunction issue” comments. Is yours still holding up or has it burnt out or anything?
Hi! Oh no :( I haven’t had any issues so far with mine! 🤍
@@LeaToshiye Thank you for getting back to me so soon! I think I’ll take a chance and order it (:
gurl i have short curly hair and it works i love it!
Is this better or the rush brush volumanizing dryer?
Omg thank you needed this review!!!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!! 💗
Girl whered u get your spray bottle for your water from? Thank you for the video .
Amazon! Thanks for watching 🤗
Thank you from another long, thick & coursed haired girl! Is this the old or new version of the tool? 🤔
Love your hairstyle 😊 how would you explain your style to a hairdresser???
Shoot, I’m white and I wish I had easy to tame, straight hair. 🤔
It’s not burning the hair to much?
I have a cheaper version of that kind of dryer. I don't think it takes me 45 minutes maybe 1/2 an hour and I have longer hair than yours, mine is waist length. But I am white. Maybe it took so long because you used the cool setting otherwise they are super quick. Or it could be because your hair is coarser than mine.
Hi love!! I really love this video! I just purchased one and I can’t wait to use it!! Quick question … what is the name of your hairstyle? That’s the kind of haircut i want but don’t know how to tell my hairstylist lol
Aw thank you! You’ll love it! When my hair is long, I always just get trims and ask for layers starting at my chin or a little above!
