    I’m actually loving the dry bar side, looks like a true salon blowout and knowing it won’t damage your hair as much as the revlon is a plus!

      I bought the drybar and I can tell it won't damage my hair. I'm so in love with it. I've learned that sometimes paying more will give me more in the long run. No damage means I don't have to invest later in treatments and my hair will look healthier.

    • @julia-ex7im
      @julia-ex7im 4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      why do you say it wont damage your hair as much as the revlon one? it is also a concern of mine but i dont understand how one is less damaging than the other..is it the materials used to make it?

    • @VladyblueGC
      @VladyblueGC 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@julia-ex7im yes, the materials. I'm using5their brand serum when I use it and believe me my hairs looks amazing. It lasts more than 2 days and it shines. I've been looking for great tool for my hair. I can touch my hair while I'm using my DBDS and it doesn't burn me. You have to try it to understand better. Results are like going to the salon, so if you do the math is cheaper compared to what you'd pay at a salon for a blow dry 2 times per week. :)

    Please remember to wear hearing protection. Hearing damage/loss begins at 85 decibels. Most hair dryers are between 82-87 decibels. Considering the fact that the dryer is also right next to the ear and we dry our hair often, hearing loss can occur.

    I had long thick hair and I ended up with shoulder length hair, because of the Revlon Brush, because of the extreme Heat this brush produces all my ends got fried, I kept using and getting my hair trimmed and using all kinds of hydrating a d moisturizing products and nothing until my hair stylist asked what tools I use to dry my hair at home and she immediately told me to stop using it, she recommended the Dry Bar, I went to Ulta, got it and now my hair is happy and healthy. The Revlon one might give you temporary smooth results but it does burn your hair strands, Sorry but I rather have healthy long hair, its a no for Revlon and yes for drybar

    So I actually have the Hot Tools gold plated, Amika, and the Drybar brush and the Drybar is by far my favorite. I have long, thin, fine hair. The Drybar gave me the most volume. I was actually disappointed with Amika. It left my hair too straight. Very meh. Hot Tools did a good job but it got waaay too hot and was completely damaging my hair the most so I can’t use it even if I liked it. I hope this video doesn’t push you away from trying Drybar!

    I thought you looked like you found it easier to use the Revlon, maybe because it's bigger and can capture more hair in it, but to me the Revlon looked easier to use. I also like how the Revlon turned your hair under a little at the ends, it gave it a more polished Salon look. The dry bar gives more volume but it flicks your hair out and I don't think it looks as nice as the Revlon side. Loved it thank you 😄

    Julissa if possible try it a few more times to tell us about the damage. You've had the Revlon longer. But I feel like after using it often for at least 3 weeks we will know for sure which one is better. Usually someone will use it 3 times per week, so damage is important 😬

    I have watched about three comparison videos and I would like to see a comparison video where she doesn’t start automatically with Revlon. Drying your hair, even with a simpler method as a hot air brush, tires your arm. Her results with the Revlon are always going to look better to her because she starts off with it when her energy hasn’t capped out yet. It makes the video slightly biased because, before she even starts the second half (with whatever new dryer she’s testing), she’s already tired out and you can see it in her face she doesn’t want to continue anymore. I wish she’d switch it up so every so often so we can get a more unbiased review.

      I have the drybar straightener and it has never damaged my hair compared to other brands. As much as I like how the Revlon brush covers more in less time, I have long finr hair so I rather use something that will protect it.

  • @forystviolet5861

    I'm wondering if the fact you did the revlon side first has anything to do with why the second side took longer to straighten out. The first side was more damp.. and the second side had time to air dry, creating curls and frizz especially at the roots. Maybe spray your hair with water as you go through your sections and it could be easier for you overall

    Love ur videos!!! I have curly hair like u!! I have the revlon brush and I’m obsessed with so much that on Black Friday I got another one!! For half the price 35$ I wasn’t going to let that one slip by!!! So if anything ever happened to my I have a back up!!! ❤️❤️

    Less heat doesn’t produce as much oils so the dry bar is amazing for blow out and revlon is more for straightening

    The revlon has damaged my hair so much because of how hot it gets. I have breakage. I’m now debating between the drybar and the T3

    I loved my Revlon until last month when it started to fall apart. The pins and bristles came out while I was drying my hair. Replaced it with the Hot Tools charcoal version. It also doesn't get as hot as the Revlon. But my hair looks really good. I took it with me to get my hair done last Saturday and my stylist likes it better than the Revlon. The Hot Tools version does cost more but I think its better quality. Luckily this drama happened close to Black Friday so I got my HT on sale for around $40.00.

    The revlon brush has damaged my hair!! I have thick, coarse, wavy hair. I only use it 1-2 times per week and I use a good heat protectant and all the olaplex products. I have had it about 6 months. It has broken my hair off. I just ordered the dry bar. Going to give it a try. I won’t be using the revlon anymore !!!!

      Same. I stopped using mine after I noticed so much hair in the brush. I invested in the Dyson and I love it so much. Wayyyyyyyyyy less hair in the brush. I would say maybe 5 or 10 strands per blowout.

    I like the Dry Bar side better. The Dry Bar side has more body but I like more body in my hair. You sound like you like your hair to be more straight. I have stick straight hair and I struggle to get body into it so I prefer the Dry Bar Look. Either way you look gorgeous and don't think you need to flat iron. Thank you for your honest review. :)

    I have both and I definitely think Drybar is better… I feel drybar makes me feel like I actually went to the salon and usually after a couple uses it feels much hotter than the revlon
