I like the remake of this theme! My favourite part is at 1:16. It sounds so smooth and somewhat intense afterwards! They maintained and kept the overall theme of the ost while making sound fresh and new!

Funny thing is, Both HG/SS and OR/AS did the exact same thing. They copy pasted the Facility from the game that came before it. HG/SS has the Battle Frontier from Platinum. OR/AS has the Battle Mansion from X/Y :P.
I really wanted the Battle Frontier... Back in Emerald I couldn't beat the brains since I was noob who still didnt knew about good strategies, but now that I've have a lot of experience I wanted to challenge them once again in ORAS..
I didn't even entered in a battle with them. The Winning Streak for challenge them was bad for me. There is so many battles in the competitive that I can win, but I still wasn't able to get too many streaks (more than 20) in the Maison or in the Battle Tree (USUM). I don't feel I would like to have them in ORAS.
You can actually hear elements of other battle themes such as the Sinnoh Gym Leader/Elite Four Theme, Red's/Lance's Theme, and the Emerald Frontier Brain Theme mixed in there, just to name a few. This is way better than the original Frontier Brain battle theme on WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many levels.
It's like having a nerfed, tinier version of the Battle Frontier. I defeated 3 of them in my first run in the Maison, the one left I don't even tried to. In Emerald I only achieved to get to the Seviper girl, and I didn't defeat her
Why does everyone seem to think the Emerald version was better? Really the only issue with this is the fact that it was given to the wrong characters, not the music itself. I for one absolutely LOVE this version. It doesn't even have "less trumpets" like so many comments seem to be saying. Comparing it to the original version directly, the only major instrumentation change is the fact that the bass is replaced by a low string orchestra -- something that doesn't make it worse by any means whatsoever. If anything, it makes it better.
I also love this version better. It's much more cohesive than it's gba counterpart and because of the gba version, knows what parts to emphasize over others
I'm disappointed that we didn't get the Battle Frontier. It's the one thing I really really wanted to see done up pretty, plus I wanted a chance to play the facilities I really enjoyed back in Emerald only with the physical/special move split we have now. I've adored this game all the way through... in particular the character backstories, the drama, the Delta episode, but the Battle Frontier would have made it perfect. I just hope the Hoenn Battle Frontier appears in a later game because it would be the biggest waste of an opportunity to not remake it.

Some people believe battle frontier will unlock after a certain amount of time has passed like in the OR/AS demo. There was hidden missions that unlocked after a few days in the real world passed by.
These people don't disserve this theme only the frontier brains from pokemon emerald does but im glad they branged the theme back with a remixed version

No, Deoxys is also found in Ruby and Sapphire. But it remains in its Normal form. In FireRed, its Attack. LeafGreen, Defense. Emerald, Speed. I think that's how it goes.
in Gen 3 Emerald had the Frontier not R/S and in Gen 4 Platinum had the frontier and not D/P so expect that there will be no battle frontier in a D/P remakes. this is also the reason they didnt include it in the remakes. so the frontiers will be extinct unless a new generation host another frontier.

I love the Expert trainer class old lady saying those "gaudy girls" referring to the Battle Chatelaines. She's right. They're nothing but show thieves that stole the Battle Frontier Brain's theme. Also, that FBI looking agent guy that said he was done scouting the Pike Queen, the girl who said her Seviper shivered, which was more than likely Lucy herself (I can actually see Lucy starting out as a member of the Delinquent Trainer Class), the Battle Tower/Frontier model/construction project all probably just simple red herrings and hit me in the feels. All what could of been. The game was datamined. No more surprises found. All the demo data turned out to be final, which was quite a shame. Unless Game Freak is actually working on the Frontier for possible DLC in the future. Which I highly doubt. Even though Nintendo has been more open to the idea of DLC recently. Mewtwo for Smash Bros. 4 & Mario Kart 8.

From a developing point of view, ORAS and HGSS did the EXACT SAME THING: they both copy-pasted the Battle Facility of the game before them (Platinum had a Battle Frontier, so HGSS copied it; XY had a Battle Maison, so ORAS copied it!). So your argument is flawed. Therefore, your example is a FLOP.

GF starts to slack off these days, because they didn't even change the X and Y trainers in battle maison. That means they just copy paste battle maison. Even battle chatelaines has same pokemon with same items and movesets. In addition, they didn't remix most of legendary pokemons theme. These are the biggest evidences that prove that they are slacking off.
Why would they remix the themes? The only Legendary themes who should be remixed was the ones that are part of the original game, which they remixed (Weather Trio, Regis, Deoxys). Now, the other legendaries shouldn't receive a Remix, but I would like if some received their latest Battle themes (Suicune, Raikou and Entei with their themes from HGSS, instead of the GSC theme). Know, the trainers... Why would they change? Do you think the trainers in the HGSS Battle Frontier has different movesets than the trainer in the Platinum Battle Frontier? No, it's gonna be the same, because it's still the Sinnoh Battle Frontier. The same with the Battle Maison, they are still the Battle Maison, but in a different place.

Agreed. I think this actually sounds better than the original. But yeah, the Elite Four theme was really disappointing imo.
TheMagicalMaestro I actually liked the Champion theme. I will agree with the Elite Four theme though. At least it's still better than X & Y's version. XD
