That final battle with May.. I used Brave Bird Move (blaziken) and KO'd Mays Swampert and the recoil took out Blaziken aswell. Now that's what I call a way to end the game.
I feel inclined to always finish off the last story rival battles with starter on starter. It just feels right to do. Even in the older games where the rival chooses the type you're weak to.

Really worthy battle theme in its own right, but it's a shame that the actual climax of the song, which I was looking forward to so much, lost the foreground horns that made the original so heavy and substantial.
While I'm glad that May gets an almost full team & the Mega Evolution for her signature Pokemon(Which is proof that she's much better than she was in the GBA original), I'm just disappointed that there's no more rematches with her after her last battle. A bit better than before, but still being one of my least favorite Rival characters in my Pokemon gaming life(Better than Wally, but still not better than Serena from X/Y.).
