Nice video... I have the exact same pressure washer. Had it for about a year now and its still working as good as new. I never had a problem with the cord kinking up. I always fold it in semi-circles, (similar to how you would fold a rope or extension cord... not round but oval shaped) from the plug end all the way to the unit then I just lay it over that front plastic piece with it folded as such. It always completely straightens out when I uncoil it to use it.
A good way to prevent cord from kinking up all the time is to get an $8 rotating cord reel from Home depot or some place. Pull it out fast, spin it back up fast. You would need to cut a slot in the side of the reel so the large plug-in on your cord would be on the outside of the reel where the spin handle is. Just hang the reel on your washer with a hook or something.
I got the SpX3200, more or less the same one but built in a horizontal way instead of upright. My main complaint are similar as yours withe handle, I also upgraded the trigger handle and also got a extension for the pressure hose so I can was all around the vehicle without moving the actual washer around to wash everything
Hey Chelsea. I have this same pressure washer. I hate that hose that comes with it with the long wand. Can you recommend a longer hose that will work with this unit that won’t get kinked up?
@@attention2detailswchelsea ok so I got the uberflex hose and the MV925 gun with all the quick connects for my sunjoe pressure washer. When I attached the hose to the washer it is leaking water from the threads. How did you get the leak to stop? Teflon tape?
It's not a bad pressure washer. Obsessed Garage tested them and they were not delivering the GPM and PSI they advertised. They will work for what you need though.
Un twist your hose more frequently. That happens with any cord that is attached to a hand tool that you rotate a lot without much thought. Every time I'm done with a cord or hose I twist it to straighten it out then roll it up properly. You'll never run into that issue again doing this. Good video btw. I'm glad I found it. I'm looking at one of these washers for myself
Im thinking about getting one of these. If I were you, after the warrantee expires, I would just replace the cord by wiring in a new, better quality cord.
I had to contact sunjoe for the warranty. If you go to their website you can have someone contact you about it they will help you troubleshoot to see if it is actually a warranty issue and if they can't resolve it over the phone with you they will send you out a replacement for free if it still falls under that 2-year window. Very easy process takes maybe 5 to 10 minutes

You have upgraded the hand gun as it was bulky Your hose used is another purchase and not relate to pressure unit and you need to get another nozzle. Nah - there are better options at similar price point with longer warranties.
Valid points. It may not be the best but for a two year warranty and $150 I've had a great pressure washer for two years. Would I buy it again? It all depends on if something better comes along. But for those starting out or limited on finances it's a great pressure washer that will get the job done. Even if it does break, I'll deal with the inconvenience at $150. What would you recommend better?

Sun Joe tells you to store it in warm place when it’s cold,so the tubing doesn’t freeze with water from previous jobs

I also use a flex hose but also purchased ample additional machine-to-wand hosing so that I do not have to pull the machine around.

Try a spiral cord detangler best purchase ever made saved me headaches and none of my power cords kinked again.

Im not sure but it might be replaceable if youre comfortable with electric.

There's nothing wrong with the cord. Yours is just a result of not taking care of it and properly storing it. Take the 10 seconds to untwist it.
Cut that cord off to about 1' long, and put a male plug on it, and use a good sj 12/3 extension cord.
Thats what my friend ended up doing when I gave it to him.
