    Awesome video Scott. If you want a recommendation for a hose you can get the flexzilla 25 ft that it comes with m22 fittings or the 50 ft like I did! 50 ft perform as well as the stock one, you don’t loose any pressure. Now with your pressure washer gun the set up is complete. Thank you.

    The Sunjoe SPX3000 uses a non-standard M22-15mm. Others use M22-14mm Beware. They are not interchangeable. A 14mm in a 15mm will leak.

    • @Smokey_A
      @Smokey_A 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you can account for that by buying an o-ring down a step to make it fit. I had looked into buying a hose for my Stanley (which I think is a rebranded SunJoe).

      @@jasonallen5835 You can get M22-15 to M22-14 connectors from MTM directly fairly cheap. I bought all my connectors from them when I simply wanted QD with OEM hose. I since have upgraded all to MTM spray gun and Lance with Kobrajet hose, best money spent. Now I am looking to replace my AR blue pressure washer to that Comet and use my MTM hardware instead of what comes with the Comet basic package.

    • @Big_Old_Dog
      @Big_Old_Dog 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@Smokey_A The Sunjoes have a 15mm male connector on each end of the hose, and the id of the female on the machine and the gun/wand is 15mm. If you buy a 14mm gun (the standard) the 15mm hose will physically not fit inside the gun (hence, you need a coupler 14mm on one end and 15mm on the other). If you buy a 14mm hose (The standard), it will fit inside the sunjoe body and wand but will leak because it's 1mm in diameter too small. Can you replace the o-rings to take up the extra 1mm? Maybe, but personally I'd rather just use a coupler so it doesn't start leaking the minute the o-ring wears. Bottom line is, you have to know what you have and what you are trying to do in order to figure out exactly what you need to make it all work trouble free. Many vendors on Amazon have packages setup to make it easier complete with connection diagrams to help you visualize the whole thing. Just wanted to alert people they can't just go to Lowes can grab anything if the own a Sunjoe or alike.

The hose also comes with the fittings so you don't need to purchase every single piece. The only one you probably need to find is the one that connects to green works which is also located at Home Depot. This is the less headache I found for myself after searching everywhere in my city. Drove and search everywhere online. Wish I did a video for this pressure washer even though it sucks ass

    All bad ,,,,it's just all bad ,,,to me ,,,. It will actually make me want to skip the vid,

    IT WAS NOTHING LIKE THOSE OTHERS WEVE ALL HEARD WAY TOO MUCH ,,, a variety of "intro noises". That have bout the same level of quality and all equally hard to listen to them and I really can live with out ,,. Is when it plays out during the whole entire video as the person is demonstrating how to skim coat a wall,,,,
    ANYWAYS ,,, for some reason I just had to get this out and vent for a minute ,,,

      You sure you got m22x15? I've only seen 14 in stores as they are more common for gas

      The motors on these cheap electric pressure washers die young and without warning. If you get 3 years of moderate use you are about average.

    This pressure washer was pretty bad for me lol. Leaking water first month of usage. Wasn't from the hose either. From the machine itself.

    *Now that's my boy Scott ruffling up the feathers of Detailers Mafia somebody in Florida is going to be disturbed. His 'clientele' has money to spend on the equivalent than brains. Your idea is what I currently have and makes 100% more sense than 'stainless steel adaptors' that have to be from EU. Who da F*&^ cares this is a proper set up for me if goes bad SO WHAT I'll buy a new one 10x over and I still will be ahead!!!*

      It’s a quick disconnect
      fitting. You can disconnect quickly.
      The threads on the hose and pressure washer are often recessed and hard to access. And the metal threads tend to corrode and create friction.
      The WC just snaps in place with no threads and no twisting. Much much easier. And the QC add swivel to both ends of hose which really cuts down on twisted hoses.

    It's worth the extra money to get brass fittings instead of zinc. The zinc corrodes and seizes up in no time. They're a false economy when you're talking one season vs. years of use.

      Kevin; it’s always cheaper to let someone else do all the work and then steal the ideas as if they are your own.
