The picture itself is due to aberrations related to satellite imagery and terrain exaggeration, a very normal happening and a trade off we have to endure to have this imagery in a user friendly way as quickly as possible. I can open Google right now and even see it from American proxy and the dam is still the same and there are no such aberrations. Thus this clip is reduced to a clickbait. Fortunately, awareness to this aberration is very common place so it can't damage too many people's perspectives.
