From Desert Dreams to Millionaire Paradise: Sheikh Mohammed’s Dubai Vision
🔔 Subscribe to our channel: th-cam.com/channels/XveQxL0kzDB8TFW4zkXWRQ.html
Our hero didn’t wait for a magic lamp to come his way. Instead, he became the genie, fulfilling not just his own dreams but those of millions around him. He transformed a barren desert into one of the world’s most prosperous and extravagant cities, complete with the tallest building, the largest mall, countless millionaires, and more of the "biggest" and "best" things you can imagine-all in the middle of a desert where, just 60 years ago, even camels wouldn’t willingly go.
How did he make the impossible real? That’s what we’re here to figure out together. Today, we’re telling the story of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the man who turned Dubai into a modern-day miracle.

"Emissions free electricity"? Not quite. All that concrete will have produced vast quantities of CO₂. Concrete accounts for somewhere between 4% and 8% of total CO₂ emissions. Sure, the CO₂ savings in production compared to, say, methane may eventually break even, but it'll take while.

@@tmada8270 I never suggested or implied anything of the sort. I also never suggested that nuclear power generation should be ruled out. I simply challenged the statement that nuclear energy is totally emissions free. It's not. Nor is any other form of electricity generation. In fact, I get frustrated with the hyperbole from (pretty much) every energy technology advocacy group. As an example, I have heard politicians who would normally not give a fig about our natural wildlife, bemoan the bird deaths from wind turbines. I have also heard green politicians, who are often staging protests to preserve our natural wildlife, say the number of bird deaths is insignificant. I'm not sure what to conclude on that point. Every technology should be evaluated in terms of emissions produced during construction, operation and decommissioning. Other impacts on the environment and economy should also be taken into consideration. The intermittency of wind and solar (particularly photovoltaics) should be taken into account also. These are not simple matters with simple answers.

As a haitian, I said not true. Haitians never took matters in their own hands. They destroyed their country, and blame it on every body else, except themselves. I know all the past problems, but at some point you have to move on, and fend for yourself. Instead, they destroyed themselves.
