I'd love to see this compared the the ROG Swift PG32UQR. Since they are the same price I'm stuck between which one to get. One is IPS and the other is VA. Flat panel vs curved. Ect.

I just bought this and cant wait to try it out ! Even when its overkill, this is a monitor you can have for many years to come . Dont have to think about monitors anymore
@@PatienceOverwatch I haven't noticed any difference weather VRR is on or off. I have never experienced screen tearing on the PS5 and I guess VRR is designed to eliminate screen tear like G-sync , similar to V-sync too but with significantly less latency... That's all I can say.
@@zoltanerdelyi5441 VRR isn't for screen tear. VRR is meant to make the game smoother. Eg. if your game runs at 120 but regularly dips to lower frames. VRR makes sure the game still feels smooth and you don't notice the frame drops.
I had serious scan line issues, primarily in blue and orange, with this monitor. The individual pixel lines were visible because one line would be a darker blue, and the one below it would be lighter, followed by a darker one, and so on. The only way to reduce this was to deactivate VRR (which made them less noticeable), but to eliminate them completely, you would need to set the screen to 120Hz with neither adaptive sync nor VRR enabled. I started reading about this, and it appears to be a widespread issue. I contacted Samsung, and initially, they claimed they had never heard of this before. However, they later admitted that it is a common problem with VA panels and this monitor in particular. Refunded.
@@kolysion164 Same here. It was nuts. A friend of mine hade the same problem and refunded. If i had known that i would have never gone for the monitor. For that prices scan lines is not OK what so ever.
I bought this exact monitor and right off the bat there weren't any glaring issues but a few days later I noticed that there are quite a few dead pixels scattered around my screen. I'm going to call Samsung and try to get a replacement. I've been reading that dead pixels with this monitor unfortunately seem to be a common issue.
Update: called Samsung support and they told me to take my monitor to the UPS store so that it can be shipped to a Samsung repair center for repairs. I'm not sure how long it's going to take but all I really care about is that the dead pixels will get fixed and that they get the monitor back to me within a reasonable time frame.

Apparently dead pixels are a problem with any monitor you get. During my research on which monitor to get all the reviews mentioned dead pixels and this was on all the popular monitors.
I’ve had 4 different gaming monitors in my 3 years of pc gaming, each one an update. Seeing this TRUILY future proof monitor is worth the spend in my book. (G7 Owner)
Also wanted to mention, the biggest pain about this monitor is the matte finish on the screen. Its kind of a pain to keep clean. Distilled water works the best at not leaving smuges.
Man I thought was the only one. I keep a jug of distilled water in my desk cab just for it. It's quite aggravating. I still haven't found the best microfiber clothe I must have it perfectly clean lol
I have the same OCD issue, tried like 8 different cleaning solutions from office depot and amazon. Nothing beats distilled water and using 2 different types of microfiber, one for cleaning and the finer one for drying. The screen generates some static, a decent air purifier will help collect dust particles.
To solve your mouse catching the foot issue, I'd just twist the feet more to the right and tilt the screen back towards you. Also if you don't need 240hz the neo g7 is very similar to this accept 160hz and will save you a bit of money

You can rotate the stand at the base by about 30 degree counterclockwise. Then use the articulating joint of the stand near the monitor to counter the direction - in order to center the monitor again. Might be worth a try.
I'm using this monitor and it's beast if you get it for a good price. I picked it up during Black friday for around $900 shipped. I also love how EVERY PS5 owner..God of War seems to be their only game.

When you get into monitors of this price range and caliber, manufacturers aren’t going to waste money trying to guess that the consumer will like the factory cable provided. Look at all of the options a person will decide when it comes to a cable: display port or hdmi, length, quality of cable, data capabilities, etc. Chances are when you buy a monitor like this you know the cable you want and the manufacturer was never going to guess what you wanted.
I don't know cables are pretty cheap and the should at least provide a cable that supports the monitors max capabilities. This being a pc monitor it would make sense to supply a display port cable I know it's easy and cheap to just get one yourself but there's nothing more annoying that finally getting your shiny new thing and finding out you can't properly test it out yet because there isn't a cable in the box
@@rorynolan2322 I understand your point of view but I’d argue anyone buying THIS monitor either has the cable they want or intends to buy their own cable that they want. If the manufacturer is going to provide a high end display port cable at 6’ long, the cost of the cable is at least double if not triple by the time it’s passed onto the consumer. If a cable cost the manufacturer $5 it’ll be $20 by the time you pay for it, if not more depending on how many companies are in the distribution chain. This is exactly why they don’t supply the cable on high end displays
@@od40k77 I'd disagree it's going to depend what there upgrading from I my old monitor happened to have dp 1.4 so I was fine to just swap out monitors but if you had a slightly older monitor then I'll likely only have dp 1.2 and wonder why you can't enable 240 Hz at 4k, you should never just assume the costmer is just going to know the difference. Also I don't know what you mean by high end cable? Any cable with the correct spec will do the job just as well as any other and those cables do not cost much, so I don't know why someone who would be in the market for a high end monitor like this would have a "special" cable in mind. I also don't agree that a cable is going to add 20£ onto the price if a cable would cost me £8 then it's going to cost them way less as they get them in bulk and the more expensive the monitor the less of a % increase in manufacturing costs a cable is going to add onto the price If your buying a 100£ monitor Vs 1000 the cable is making up far more of the cost of the product of the 100£ one meaning it's much easier for the manufacturer to eat the cost on the more expensive monitor. If you bought a ps5 ud be annoyed to find it didn't come with a hdmi 2.1 cable

Every cost that a manufacturer has ends up getting marked up anywhere from 1x to 3x (or more) by the time it reaches the consumer. I’m not going to explain business principles to you, but if you don’t know there is usually a 100% mark up each time an electronic product is bought and sold, you should stop posting comments on this subject. I don’t know how many high end monitors you have ever purchased but I have two very nice LG Ultragear monitors and neither of those monitors came with a monitor cable. I have my own cables, one 12’ and the other 15’. I’m glad LG didn’t bother to give me a cheap 6’ cable because it would’ve been a waste of my money, not LG’s. Samsung, LG, probably other makers that are producing high end monitors aren’t including monitor cables for a reason. You need to understand the product we’re talking about here. We’re talking about monitors that cost $800 or more. The people that buy these products are buying the monitor specifically and not the cable that may or may not come with it.

@@amirbarjakli3383 I don't know much about the consoles. Use only PC. But i am sure they also good for consoles to play games for this all settings. BTW, You can also use " Black Level " to low and this look very nice on games and movie but they allow max 60 Hz Refresh Rate on PC and Consoles.

I just got this monitor a week ago and I'm loving it so far however, I've been playing with the display settings and can't seem to find the best one. So my question is what are your settings that's been working for you?
1 thing to remember before buying this monitor is when using 240hz and actually achieving 200+ frames, scanlines become visible which is very obnoxious.
@@HumbleDude46995 My friend has 4090, and i have 4080 Super. Scan lines were big problems! As it has been for others i havev been talking to, no matter the card. I am glad that it worked out for you.
@@soro4494 Depends on game, games like CS-go etc no issue other usually run at 90-100 fps ultra settings, with dlss you can get more, this monitor is future proof, will relevant for 4-6 years easily
I bought the Neo G7 which is the same monitor but 4k at 165hz instead for $799. My 3080 Ti founders card cannot push 4k at 240 so i had no use for the extra capabilities. Can't wait to play on it.
@@MrKill_SC ye apart from Hz both monitors are very similar, both have the same 1000plus dimming zones the same HDR rating which just to clarify the 2000hdr that Samsung advertises is basically a lie the real performance seems to be 1200-1400 nits peak depending on panel lottery so just be aware of that and you won't be disappointed in this monitor. I have the g7 I'll give you a mini review because this guy kinda didn't talk about some things I have an oled TV so some of my perspective comes from being acoustomed to the picture quality that one of those provides Things that impressed me The black levels are very impressive in most senerios the contrast is getting very close to oled levels. Motion clarity is also very good not oled good but unless your a professional gamer you will be more than happy This does provide a very decent HDR image Cons although I said it has a very good HDR image it's not as good as an oled even though on paper and it probably measures highlights being brighter for some reason it doesn't look that way to my eye my best guess why is because mini led is always having to choose between absolute brightness and bloom suppression were the pixel level dimming on oled and literally make any pixel as bright or as dark as it likes. Viewing angles are pretty poor, not the worst issue as your likely to be sat straight Infront of the thing but something to note The curve is on the extreme side and may or may not bother you That's about it really it's an overall very good monitor and I'll likely be very pleased with it, I will say there are some very interesting monitors just on the horizon and it may be worth waiting just a little longer
Sucks though the 4090 only supports 120hz at 4k since they use display port 1.4 ,they don’t come w the new display port 2.1, unlike the new amd radeon 7900xtx

I have it rn and watch this video thru it lol. Best display ever… definitely get it if you have a beefy gpu to take full advantage. Don’t get it if you have a mid to lower tier GPU because you can’t push 4K at high refresh, it’s a waste of money at this point
But wouldn't it be better to upgrade the display first then the PC? If you can do 4k 60 then you can enjoy it still but then when you upgrade your PC it's like getting a new monitor too because now you're enjoying 4k high refresh rate, it's a purchase that will keep getting better as you upgrade your computer. If you have let's say a 1440p 144hz monitor and you're already capable of pushing that resolution at those frame rates why upgrade your PC?
You should really try out the fantastic LG EVO OLED C2 42 inches. The best monitor both for PC & consoles in my opinion! I myself are using it together with a high end GPU RTX 3090 and believe me when I say, it's the best experience I've ever had... 😊👌🏻
You must have a 4090. I had a 3090 before I got 4090 about 6 weeks ago. There is no such thing as a high end gaming PC without a 4090. The way overpriced and cut down 4080, and the 7900XTX disaster from AMD are both 2 tiers below 4090. This monitor is only for 4090 owners.

I'm just agreeing with the actual monitor review, the only way to really enjoy a 4k 240hz monitor is with a 4090. It's literally a quote from this video review. He says you will only really get the most out of this monitor if you have a 4090. And this wise man commented how he had just purchased the beautiful LG 42 C2. Unless we see an OLED go up to 240hz, there's no need to sacrifice the picture quality that the LG C2 offers. I had a 3090FE. I now have a Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090. If I still had my 3090...I don't think I would consider my PC "high end". That's how amazing this 4090 is. It is multiple tiers above the next group of GPU. Last Gen, the 3080s, 3090s, 6900XTs... were all kinda close to eachother. This time it's not close. I don't think there has ever been this wide of a margin before
Honestly I’ve had all monitors and nothing over 165hz is necessary. I’ve even had every Oled out and for the price of Oled that still isn’t worth it .. 1440 165 is fine for 85% of gamers.. I’d only suggest o led for people that want the best streaming quality for movies. For anything under 55” just get a damn 1440 screen or regular tv with 120hz
@MinimalisTech I hear alot of people saying 4k 240hz is overkill, but for games you need to utilize 240hz, can u just not downscale to 1440p. And in games you want to have 4k, you go back to the original settings, whilst accepting lower framerate? Making these specs for a monitor a VERSATILE monitor instead of OVERKILL?
I have one, the RGB lighting is absolute garbage, I've had to really muck about with vesa mounts to get it to hold up but I did the same ditched the stand and free'd up desk space
How is the ABL compared to the LG C2? The ABL on the C2 was bothering me a lot so I ordered a Neo G7 which seems to have the same ABL as the Neo G8 here. So I was curious if it seems to be brighter and dim less than the LG C2
How deep is your desk? Thankfully I play on very high sens and am a wrist aimer. I bought a new desk that is 140x60. I kinda hope that's enough for me to comfortably sit without having the stand in the way. Don't want to have to buy a a new stand lol

I literally have my Neo G8 boxed up ready for Amazon to collect. The scanlines are on every Neo G8 and it's so ugly, only visible at 240hz, the monitor does not like being in a multi monitor setup in 240hz, constantly losing signal, just going black when launching a game in fullscreen etc so imo it's actually a 4k 120hz monitor, it's lovely at 4k 120hz it truly is but I couldn't overlook these issues for the price, I'll probably get the Neo G7 when it's on sale.
I just bought this monitor and I'm so excited. That being said I still have a 3080ti and I am just going to wait a year or two for the 50xx series so I know for sure I can make use of the full 240hz. Hoping I get at least 100fps with my current setup

This monitor is for the high end gamer. I run a i9 12900k with a rtx3080. Im highly considering getting this monitor, i play BF2042 and i want to see if i can push 130+ fps with it.

I got recently the LG 27 GP29R also 4k 144 hz 1 ms as my desk setup for my PS5. Tht monitor is just amazing. THe 240 Hz is kinda overkill for the PS5 only
It fascinates me how no one is taking about the hdr feature, I literally can not enable it on my unit, when I do everything turn into super grey ish images

Yo! My desk is 25.5” deep. The monitor was about 11 inches from the back of my desk and the stems of the monitor about a whole ass foot. Would’ve been a better experience for me if I used one of my older bigger desk sure sure

VRR for PS5 : you need to change the monitor refresh rate to 120hz and the VRR option will be available in the ps5 picture settings ( just a tip )

@@PatienceOverwatch I haven't noticed any difference weather VRR is on or off. I have never experienced screen tearing on the PS5 and I guess VRR is designed to eliminate screen tear like G-sync , similar to V-sync too but with significantly less latency... That's all I can say.
@@zoltanerdelyi5441 VRR isn't for screen tear. VRR is meant to make the game smoother. Eg. if your game runs at 120 but regularly dips to lower frames. VRR makes sure the game still feels smooth and you don't notice the frame drops.

I had serious scan line issues, primarily in blue and orange, with this monitor. The individual pixel lines were visible because one line would be a darker blue, and the one below it would be lighter, followed by a darker one, and so on. The only way to reduce this was to deactivate VRR (which made them less noticeable), but to eliminate them completely, you would need to set the screen to 120Hz with neither adaptive sync nor VRR enabled. I started reading about this, and it appears to be a widespread issue. I contacted Samsung, and initially, they claimed they had never heard of this before. However, they later admitted that it is a common problem with VA panels and this monitor in particular. Refunded.
No scan lines @240hz like others have reported and shown. Not bad for 999 to myself Xmas present. I love this thing with pc and consoles.

I got the FV43U For 600 bucks cyber Monday deal, 4k HDR 144hz 10bit, HMD2.1 KVM, Type C port, 2 3.0 usb ports, QDOT Tech. I fucking love it.
For me, I think that looks fantastic but, also for me, it lacks a curve and that is a deal breaker.

I bought this exact monitor and right off the bat there weren't any glaring issues but a few days later I noticed that there are quite a few dead pixels scattered around my screen. I'm going to call Samsung and try to get a replacement. I've been reading that dead pixels with this monitor unfortunately seem to be a common issue.
Update: called Samsung support and they told me to take my monitor to the UPS store so that it can be shipped to a Samsung repair center for repairs. I'm not sure how long it's going to take but all I really care about is that the dead pixels will get fixed and that they get the monitor back to me within a reasonable time frame.

I bought a return from eBay at a discount that had a row of 4 or 5 dead pixels. I decided to keep it but they started working after a few days.

Apparently dead pixels are a problem with any monitor you get. During my research on which monitor to get all the reviews mentioned dead pixels and this was on all the popular monitors.

Also wanted to mention, the biggest pain about this monitor is the matte finish on the screen. Its kind of a pain to keep clean. Distilled water works the best at not leaving smuges.
Man I thought was the only one. I keep a jug of distilled water in my desk cab just for it. It's quite aggravating. I still haven't found the best microfiber clothe I must have it perfectly clean lol

I have the same OCD issue, tried like 8 different cleaning solutions from office depot and amazon. Nothing beats distilled water and using 2 different types of microfiber, one for cleaning and the finer one for drying. The screen generates some static, a decent air purifier will help collect dust particles.

To solve your mouse catching the foot issue, I'd just twist the feet more to the right and tilt the screen back towards you. Also if you don't need 240hz the neo g7 is very similar to this accept 160hz and will save you a bit of money

You can rotate the stand at the base by about 30 degree counterclockwise. Then use the articulating joint of the stand near the monitor to counter the direction - in order to center the monitor again. Might be worth a try.
I'm using this monitor and it's beast if you get it for a good price. I picked it up during Black friday for around $900 shipped. I also love how EVERY PS5 owner..God of War seems to be their only game.

When you get into monitors of this price range and caliber, manufacturers aren’t going to waste money trying to guess that the consumer will like the factory cable provided. Look at all of the options a person will decide when it comes to a cable: display port or hdmi, length, quality of cable, data capabilities, etc. Chances are when you buy a monitor like this you know the cable you want and the manufacturer was never going to guess what you wanted.

I don't know cables are pretty cheap and the should at least provide a cable that supports the monitors max capabilities. This being a pc monitor it would make sense to supply a display port cable I know it's easy and cheap to just get one yourself but there's nothing more annoying that finally getting your shiny new thing and finding out you can't properly test it out yet because there isn't a cable in the box
@@rorynolan2322 I understand your point of view but I’d argue anyone buying THIS monitor either has the cable they want or intends to buy their own cable that they want. If the manufacturer is going to provide a high end display port cable at 6’ long, the cost of the cable is at least double if not triple by the time it’s passed onto the consumer. If a cable cost the manufacturer $5 it’ll be $20 by the time you pay for it, if not more depending on how many companies are in the distribution chain. This is exactly why they don’t supply the cable on high end displays
@@od40k77 I'd disagree it's going to depend what there upgrading from I my old monitor happened to have dp 1.4 so I was fine to just swap out monitors but if you had a slightly older monitor then I'll likely only have dp 1.2 and wonder why you can't enable 240 Hz at 4k, you should never just assume the costmer is just going to know the difference. Also I don't know what you mean by high end cable? Any cable with the correct spec will do the job just as well as any other and those cables do not cost much, so I don't know why someone who would be in the market for a high end monitor like this would have a "special" cable in mind. I also don't agree that a cable is going to add 20£ onto the price if a cable would cost me £8 then it's going to cost them way less as they get them in bulk and the more expensive the monitor the less of a % increase in manufacturing costs a cable is going to add onto the price
If your buying a 100£ monitor Vs 1000 the cable is making up far more of the cost of the product of the 100£ one meaning it's much easier for the manufacturer to eat the cost on the more expensive monitor.

Every cost that a manufacturer has ends up getting marked up anywhere from 1x to 3x (or more) by the time it reaches the consumer. I’m not going to explain business principles to you, but if you don’t know there is usually a 100% mark up each time an electronic product is bought and sold, you should stop posting comments on this subject. I don’t know how many high end monitors you have ever purchased but I have two very nice LG Ultragear monitors and neither of those monitors came with a monitor cable. I have my own cables, one 12’ and the other 15’. I’m glad LG didn’t bother to give me a cheap 6’ cable because it would’ve been a waste of my money, not LG’s. Samsung, LG, probably other makers that are producing high end monitors aren’t including monitor cables for a reason. You need to understand the product we’re talking about here. We’re talking about monitors that cost $800 or more. The people that buy these products are buying the monitor specifically and not the cable that may or may not come with it.

Well better use with HDMI than DP.

If this not help then just restart PC in Windows.
Then is all good again.
I think DP is better than HDMI for that Samsung Neo Odyssey G8.
Almost zero issues for flickering or nothing at all.
I think HDMI got more issue.
This is just small problem, not big deal.
I did try only with PC Windows DP & HDMI.
I don't know about with Consoles at HDMI if have problem with flickering or other.

I just got this monitor a week ago and I'm loving it so far however, I've been playing with the display settings and can't seem to find the best one. So my question is what are your settings that's been working for you?
1 thing to remember before buying this monitor is when using 240hz and actually achieving 200+ frames, scanlines become visible which is very obnoxious.

I am too. My problem with the alienware is i want 4k not 1440 p , but id prefer ooed to va. But va with 1000 dimming zones is probably still very good

@@soro4494 Depends on game, games like CS-go etc no issue other usually run at 90-100 fps ultra settings, with dlss you can get more, this monitor is future proof, will relevant for 4-6 years easily
240Hz is really useful for frame generation because you can't framecap and tearing will appear.

I bought the Neo G7 which is the same monitor but 4k at 165hz instead for $799. My 3080 Ti founders card cannot push 4k at 240 so i had no use for the extra capabilities. Can't wait to play on it.

@@MrKill_SC ye apart from Hz both monitors are very similar, both have the same 1000plus dimming zones the same HDR rating which just to clarify the 2000hdr that Samsung advertises is basically a lie the real performance seems to be 1200-1400 nits peak depending on panel lottery so just be aware of that and you won't be disappointed in this monitor. I have the g7 I'll give you a mini review because this guy kinda didn't talk about some things

The black levels are very impressive in most senerios the contrast is getting very close to oled levels.
Motion clarity is also very good not oled good but unless your a professional gamer you will be more than happy
This does provide a very decent HDR image
Cons although I said it has a very good HDR image it's not as good as an oled even though on paper and it probably measures highlights being brighter for some reason it doesn't look that way to my eye my best guess why is because mini led is always having to choose between absolute brightness and bloom suppression were the pixel level dimming on oled and literally make any pixel as bright or as dark as it likes.
Viewing angles are pretty poor, not the worst issue as your likely to be sat straight Infront of the thing but something to note
The curve is on the extreme side and may or may not bother you
That's about it really it's an overall very good monitor and I'll likely be very pleased with it, I will say there are some very interesting monitors just on the horizon and it may be worth waiting just a little longer

Sucks though the 4090 only supports 120hz at 4k since they use display port 1.4 ,they don’t come w the new display port 2.1, unlike the new amd radeon 7900xtx

I like the monitor I bought it on sale 1077 after taxes but Turning on vrr and 240hz causes very little lines on blue colors

Ergotron HX Monitor Arm might be a bit overkill for this monitor but at least you know you'll be able to mount anything to it.

I have it rn and watch this video thru it lol. Best display ever… definitely get it if you have a beefy gpu to take full advantage. Don’t get it if you have a mid to lower tier GPU because you can’t push 4K at high refresh, it’s a waste of money at this point
But wouldn't it be better to upgrade the display first then the PC? If you can do 4k 60 then you can enjoy it still but then when you upgrade your PC it's like getting a new monitor too because now you're enjoying 4k high refresh rate, it's a purchase that will keep getting better as you upgrade your computer. If you have let's say a 1440p 144hz monitor and you're already capable of pushing that resolution at those frame rates why upgrade your PC?

You should really try out the fantastic LG EVO OLED C2 42 inches. The best monitor both for PC & consoles in my opinion! I myself are using it together with a high end GPU RTX 3090 and believe me when I say, it's the best experience I've ever had... 😊👌🏻
You must have a 4090. I had a 3090 before I got 4090 about 6 weeks ago. There is no such thing as a high end gaming PC without a 4090. The way overpriced and cut down 4080, and the 7900XTX disaster from AMD are both 2 tiers below 4090. This monitor is only for 4090 owners.

I'm just agreeing with the actual monitor review, the only way to really enjoy a 4k 240hz monitor is with a 4090. It's literally a quote from this video review. He says you will only really get the most out of this monitor if you have a 4090. And this wise man commented how he had just purchased the beautiful LG 42 C2. Unless we see an OLED go up to 240hz, there's no need to sacrifice the picture quality that the LG C2 offers. I had a 3090FE. I now have a Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090. If I still had my 3090...I don't think I would consider my PC "high end". That's how amazing this 4090 is. It is multiple tiers above the next group of GPU. Last Gen, the 3080s, 3090s, 6900XTs... were all kinda close to eachother. This time it's not close. I don't think there has ever been this wide of a margin before

Honestly I’ve had all monitors and nothing over 165hz is necessary. I’ve even had every Oled out and for the price of Oled that still isn’t worth it .. 1440 165 is fine for 85% of gamers.. I’d only suggest o led for people that want the best streaming quality for movies. For anything under 55” just get a damn 1440 screen or regular tv with 120hz

@MinimalisTech I hear alot of people saying 4k 240hz is overkill, but for games you need to utilize 240hz, can u just not downscale to 1440p. And in games you want to have 4k, you go back to the original settings, whilst accepting lower framerate? Making these specs for a monitor a VERSATILE monitor instead of OVERKILL?
I have one, the RGB lighting is absolute garbage, I've had to really muck about with vesa mounts to get it to hold up but I did the same ditched the stand and free'd up desk space
How is the ABL compared to the LG C2? The ABL on the C2 was bothering me a lot so I ordered a Neo G7 which seems to have the same ABL as the Neo G8 here. So I was curious if it seems to be brighter and dim less than the LG C2

How deep is your desk? Thankfully I play on very high sens and am a wrist aimer. I bought a new desk that is 140x60. I kinda hope that's enough for me to comfortably sit without having the stand in the way. Don't want to have to buy a a new stand lol

I literally have my Neo G8 boxed up ready for Amazon to collect. The scanlines are on every Neo G8 and it's so ugly, only visible at 240hz, the monitor does not like being in a multi monitor setup in 240hz, constantly losing signal, just going black when launching a game in fullscreen etc so imo it's actually a 4k 120hz monitor, it's lovely at 4k 120hz it truly is but I couldn't overlook these issues for the price, I'll probably get the Neo G7 when it's on sale.
I'm using my Neo G8 with 2 other 4k monitors. Never loses signal. Screen never goes black.

I just bought this monitor and I'm so excited. That being said I still have a 3080ti and I am just going to wait a year or two for the 50xx series so I know for sure I can make use of the full 240hz. Hoping I get at least 100fps with my current setup

Looks like it's got some backlight bleed top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right. Did you notice it?
It's the camera, Mini LED and OLED monitors don't have backlight bleed.

I got recently the LG 27 GP29R also 4k 144 hz 1 ms as my desk setup for my PS5. Tht monitor is just amazing. THe 240 Hz is kinda overkill for the PS5 only

Windows doesn’t do HDR. I have the ASUS pg48uq and I don’t like HDR at all when gaming. SDR pops even more. Weird isn’t it?

Yo! My desk is 25.5” deep. The monitor was about 11 inches from the back of my desk and the stems of the monitor about a whole ass foot.
Would’ve been a better experience for me if I used one of my older bigger desk sure sure
