City has my favourite of the Riddler side missions in the series but I've cleared his side mission in Knight every playthrough. It's oddly addictive even though I've been through it a dozen times by now lol
I think city’s are really fun, like they’re actually kind of tough, knights are just plain fun, using both characters is so cool as well, just a great side mission 💙🦇
Same. I suppose it's possibly the bigger variety in Knight's Riddler side missions both in the main quest parts themselves and the different puzzles that have to be solved to collect the trophy.
I oddly don't mind looking for trophies, its kinda meditative and really lets you see all the city has to offer. Whether its scouring the ground for informants or discovering every nook and cranny this side mission is a good time.
Agreed. It really is a meditative experience in a way. So meditative in fact that I have 100 percented every riddler mission in every arkham game multiple times (not a flex on my end in fact it's kinda sad) but it's never not satisfying to see the Riddler be completely humiliated. Not to mention Wally Wingert's amazing voice acting for Edward.
This is the exact reason I love these missions, you do everything, see everything and do everywhere the games has to offer, and it’s relaxing just checking off the different aspects of the trophies 💙🦇
Same. I suppose that I may a bit of a masochist & have OCD so scouring the city & its different interiors (especially in City for me) is always a meditative as you put it and nice tune out experience for me. Add to that the fact that I find the side mission in genuinely fun (except in Origins) with the different puzzles and Wally Wingert's performance. The only time I find them tedious is near the end when searching for informants to unlock the last batch of Riddler trophies on the map but they're dwindling in numbers and I'm just patrolling the city in detective vision.
@@BiggieCiggie01 One of the reasons why the side quest is never tedious or boring for me is Wally Wingert's performance, for me it's just as fun to hear them perform Riddler as his most smug at/towards the start as it seeing him slowly breakdown near the end. I genuinely want to see it fully utilized in a future Arkham game where he is/one of the main antagonists.
7I pretty much never thought The Riddler side missions were the nightmare they're meme-d out to be at all and I find the process of collecting enough trophies & scanning the riddles that unlock lore to progress through his next trail all accompanied by Wally Wingert's delightfully smug & thinly secure performance to be one of my most satisfying, joyful, and as someone put, meditative experiences for me in gaming. Riddler as a whole is a character that I've recently grown more appreciation for, and that, combined with my wish to see more of Wally Wingert's performance more utilized in a main story role has made me hope to see him be finally used as the main antagonist or one of them in the next Arkham game, most likely a sequel to Shadow.
I think 'Drain Pain' is the only segment of Riddler's side mission that genuinely made me hate Riddler, at least with the trophies it's entertaining with Eddie getting mad and calling you a cheater (and that one line about him mating you), I've replayed Arkham Knight at least 9x now, and every time Drain Pain is the only segment I put some background video on
Yea collecting the riddler trophies around the city is hard I’ve only did it once but I’m committed to do it again. And I use a guide for final exam room confuses me
The Riddler collect-a-thon, Own The Roads, and to a slightly lesser extent, Occupy Gotham, (and to a lesser, lesser extent, The Line of Duty) to me represent Arkham Knight at its very best. Besides the brilliance of some of the puzzles and knowledge checks in collecting Riddler's goodies/answers or raiding certain checkpoints, some of the challenges scattered out in the open world, whether it's a Riddler trophy or a militia checkpoint/towrer, serve as checks on parts of your upgrade tree, requiring certain otherwise optional gadgets or upgrades in order to take on. So (therefore), so much of the genuine fun especially on a first playthrough is sizing up an objective (trophy, checkpoint, tower, group of firemen) and needing to think for a brief moment how to approach it, going back and forth in your head if you're lacking knowledge or a requisite upgrade when the solution or tactic to not die/ fail/reset isn't obvious. Those moments alone are cerebral and engaging in a way that makes for a great gameplay loop. Plus in those instances where it's obvious (or you finally come to realize) that you need to come back after upgrading, it's a breadcrumb or teaser for you to follow to make Batman just that little bit more capable. it's additional motivation for grinding XP as you look forward to being able to do more stuff, not just to overcome that specific challenge, but out in the world and other missions as well. They're glimpses ahead at what you'll be able to do.
The same goes for those same moments when you're possibly needing to weigh whether or not you need the car or remote control of the car to complete when encountering an open-world challenge for the first time. For some it's clearly for Batman or clearly for the Batmobile. But some can be initially ambiguous or straight up cleverly obscure or conceal the fact that you need the Batmobile or remote to proceed.

Thanks bro! Glad you enjoyed 💙🦇

Drain Pain, as you saw, makes me extremely sad and seems to lessen my ability to play Arkham knight above the level of a 2nd grader 😭
Good job I’m checking out all of your videos!!!
Thanks bro! Enjoy 💙🦇
Still my favorite riddler side mission is from city
I think City’s trap rooms are better in terms of the mental capacity needed to complete them 💙🦇

Good luck bro💙🦇
The arkham games has my favorite riddler!
Agreed! 💙🦇
There's just one trophy I can't get due to my hand/eye coordination problem. Which is really annoying. 1 trophy

Why didn’t you mention Jim Carrey’s riddler man? I really like that one
You chopped 💙🦇
