- This is a users simple guide for the FX Impact Airgun, and how to install the Side Shot Jumbo Mag System. If you have an Impact which is pre-change of 2019, and want to install the larger magazine then this is how.

Thanks Giles for this insightful video. I fitted my .22 kit purchased from Krale online to my MkK 1 gen 2 Impact this afternoon. A note to others that I experienced was that after the mag fitting and screwed the air bottle back I had a leak and could hear air escaping from the bottle. I removed and reattached but it continued to leak. I removed again and had a closer inspection of the threads on the impact that the bottle screws onto and noticed a minuscule piece of dirt, I removed it and then the bottle sealed perfectly. I may help someone else!
I just did my impact a week ago before your video. The one I watched was terrible and made me nervous.

Dear Giles, Tip to remove the old Part more easily: loosen the other 2 screws on the handle side also a bit.

mark2189xx they also sell the upgraded mark I gauges too. Very reasonable price.
Nice video Giles. I would suggest that you NOT remove the little balls until after you find out how the magazine fits. I removed all of mine, and then had to reinstall them so the magazine didn't rattle around and gave me a snug fit.

Thanks Giles for sharing info with us. I would like to get something clarified, I just purchased a new Impact and in the manual, page 10, it states that the gun is never to be fired without air pressure as it may damage the valve assembly and void the warranty. In this video at 6:30 you appear to do just that twice, which info is correct? Last thing I want is an broke new toy. Hardly a toy at these prices. Cheers, Billy in Canada

Greek Airgunners. I’ve watched the same modification on a US TH-cam channel. And they say yes you can still use the old magazine. But I don’t know if the impact is different for the US market.

Why can't FX Airguns do something on that air when we take out the bottle in such a expensive air rifle, it's terrifying and give a scary tendency of something wrong or blasting, FX should do something

Surely someone with a more engineering background than I could configure a plate that would put the mag on the other side for lefties.
and a reverse configured mag of course.
Gimmick
I'm not really impressed with having to change mag size to stay current. What's the reason for making such large mags? I always get a moment while hunting to refill. I feel this is just a way to get more money from the consumers. If they want to do something for the shooters, convince our countries to change laws to the same requirements so all air rifles are the same at manufacture saving FX a ton of time and money. I wouldn't mind paying less either.
BullBars1 This magazine comes in handy with target shooting especially when you’re doing quick fire.
A true upgrade to this POS would be to have it made in Germany.

If the United Nations and Agenda 2030 keep going forward in the USA like it is, we will be in the same poor shape this guy is. We will be living in a country without firearms freedom and our violent crime rate will jump through the roof. It is always bewildering to me how the citizens allowed their gun rights to be taken away over there. Apparently no one gave a darn about the fact that violent crime rates would skyrocket and actually did. I think the gun laws should have been written in a way that stated if violent crime rates do not decrease within a certain time from after the gun ban, then the law is null and void.
