    Interesting… you were using hose clamps. Are those better then original? Or it doesnt matter?

      I used hose clamps. I had to cut off the originals

    Hey, would you know the correct size of these hose clamps so I can buy the correct ones?
    I can't find the correct size anywhere

    it explain the brown color of the old coolent ? i have this problem on my giulietta

      If your coolant is brown you have oil in it and a big problem. It is probably the head gasket but could be a few things. Get ready to spend some money

      @@TheEddysGarage i mean, the tank has a brown cream but the coolent is pink or more like used pink

      @@user60835 just buy a new one. Brown means it is deteriorating and they hold a lot of pressure. Don’t get stranded when it blows

    Hi mate, how would you go about flushing the coolant completely. Is there a drain plug?

    • @TheEddysGarage
      @TheEddysGarage  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m sure there is a plug on the bottom of the radiator but I just did the tank without draining the system

    You can just reuse the original hose clamps, without special tools, just try to pinch them closed. Easyer than you think. The biggest advantage is, you cannot overtighten.

      I tried but gave up. Good to know that you can reuse them

    How did you burp the system?

    • @TheEddysGarage
      @TheEddysGarage  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No need to burp it if you don’t drain it or loose too much fluid

    Hi,
    Great video.
    Do you need to bleed the circuit on this vehicle or it does it on it’s own?
    Thanks

      I didn’t drain the cooling system, just the overflow tank

    Hey there, I think the coolant tubes are held on by Clic-R clamps. There is a special set of pliers you can use to remove and refit them (see the video link) th-cam.com/video/fWNG0qXCWJQ/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=MatcoTools

      I had the clamps and I wasn’t about to get special pliers
