Thanks so much for the video. Handy to watch in preparation for repairing a write off with minor front end damage. Rads and intercooler all fine but crash structure and radiator supports are broken. I couldn't just let the poor Alfa die.

Now i beleive i have air in the system because my coolant temperature will got o 90 degrees C then drop to 80 degrees, back and forth

I am just doing this job on my 09 155bhp Tjet, that has had damage, the damage is to the air conditioning condenser & radiator. My problem is that all the bumper bolts are rusty, the NSF arch bolt broke & ripped the eye in the bumper corner, & 2 of the OS arch splash guard screws had no screw heads left, & worst of all, all 4 blind captive nuts underneath are broken & spinning, so I now need to decide if I want to cut the bumper or front panel to access them...
Also, both headlight bolts (under the arch) are also rusted & seized, & broke when I tried to remove them.
I wish Alfa had used stainless fixings!

Sounds horrible, I wish they used stainless material too... There is so many spots on these cars where it really shouldn't be so rusty already. Hope you can fix it soon

@@itsaboutcarsyt tell me how often you change oil on your Mito, it should be changed once a year or not less than 10.000 km, I prefer to do it before 8000 km. -That will keep you mair brick working healthy and zero problems . Of course respect specification 5w40 Fiat S2 and C3 is most important.

@@postaraco I had a lot of talks about oil with the multiair and since I am not 100% sure yet I can't make a video about it, but last time I just went for the recommendet Selenia pure energy for multiair- and that was after 1 year. I don't wait for a certain km range since I don't drive this car as much as others

    • @postaraco

@@itsaboutcarsyt Yes my friend debates about oils it's as old as auto industry. Selenia is OK because it is follows Fiat Alfa recommendations, and there stops, Main problem with Selenia oiis is they have poor oxidation stability, which are found between 10% and 13% , so for some 5-6 k km this oil will be ok, but for longer period NO, because oxidation will lead to deposits in MA unit and possible problems with it.

What is the name or part number of the long HOSE that you are taking off and putting back behind the radiator? I need to replace it but it looks impossible to determine what part number is!

You can take a look on Alfa Romeo 7zap website for part numbers
