Happy Canada Day and July 4th Weekend to my American friends!! ENTIRELY FORGOT to add in the footage i filmed testing the frozen s'mores so wanted to share my experience here.
1. Straight out of the freezer they were way too hard to eat (chocolate layer was like biting into a popsicle)
2. I think i forgot to mention the top layer of Graham cracker??
3. They were DELICIOUS - I cut mine into squares and stuck back into the freezer. I leave it out for a bit on the counter to soften when i want one

Spray cooking oil under paper it will stay flat , works for baking too

if you flip a muffin pan upside down, you can use it as a temporary "taco" stand for this kind of thing. My mom makes cheesecake "tacos" with strawberry filling on top as a garnish. its the easiest way to get the shells to keep their shape while they harden. for smaller shells you can use the mini muffin pans, for larger shells you can use the jumbo muffin pans.
For the strawberries: I do these all the time and love them! I cut the strawberries up super small, dip them in mixed berry yogurt, and freeze that. Then I coat them in chocolate and refrigerate (not freeze) them. They aren’t as cold in the fridge and they are so tasty with the flavored yogurt.
Couldn't you just put pieces of chocolate in a berry yogurt cup? Seems easier to me.
I watched it twice thinking somehow missed the s'more tasting. Glad to know I wasn't losing it 😂. I love ice cream and cake, so the taco recipe was my favorite.

Tip on using baking or parchment paper. After tearing it off the roll scrunch or screw the paper up like you would if you were throwing away bad poetry. Then smooth the paper out and it will stay put with no rolling up.❤
I buy my parchment at a restaurant supply store. It comes in big, full sheets, which I can cut down to fit my toaster oven tray or cookie sheets. I love parchment paper but I can't stand buying it in a roll. The curling up of the paper makes me unreasonably upset LOL. So just a tip to check out a local restaurant supply store... They will most likely have it. It will be enough to last you probably a lifetime but if you go in on it with someone you will have a bunch of sheets to use forever.
We lightly spray the cookie sheet with cooking spray(pam). And put the parchment paper on and then rub the parchment paper onto the cookie sheet, and it won't rool all the way up
I always do the scrunch! So easy
But if you scrunch it up, for this particular recipe the chocolate shell will take on the shape of all the scruchies...

I absolutely drink black coffee and eat plain yogurt. That’s hilarious. Also. I was VERY excited to see how those s’mores turned out. I’m not a baker, so that seemed perfect for me! Please advise how it tasted!
I do not drink my coffee black and I love plain yogurt with a drizzle of honey but I do drink my tea black
I also can drink black espresso, no sweetener, also enjoy plain yogurt and plain Greek yogurt, adding some blueberries or strawberries on top and mix it in super yum 😊.
I actually said “YES” out loud so emphatically that my dog started barking.

We dice the strawberries little before adding them to the yogurt. We also make them more flatten disk shaped for easy holding. Just drizzling the chocolate over the top is enough IMO.
Do you use Greek yogurt or another kind? I have regular strawberry yogurt I wanted to try to make them with as my mom doesn’t like Greek yogurt and I was wondering if it would work or if I would need something to thicken it up.
I think we need a separate segment for chris and his cocktails recipes.
If your parchment paper is driving you crazy, crumple it up and then uncrumple it. It won’t roll back up on you 😌
A great alternative to the s’mores thing: layer of Graham crackers, straight instant vanilla pudding, another layer of Graham crackers, glaze with icing sugar and a little milk/water (you can go fancy taking a bit of the glaze, adding cocoa, and then feathering it). Let soften in the fridge for a bit. SOOOOOO good (and easy)

I love roasted garlic ❣️ I keep it in the fridge all the time. I buy big bags of garlic so I can make a lot of it at once.
I use plain Greek yogurt in cooking. I eat it with fruit and Agave syrup if I want it sweet. I like a little bit of coffee in my creamer.😂
Those frozen yogurt covered in chocolate are soooo good 😋 I use either vanilla or strawberry Greek yogurt
I wonder if the ice cream/cake dessert would cut back on the sweetness if you did more of a spice cake. I'll definitely have to give this one a try. Maybe with a chai cake and french vanilla ice cream? Mmmm

A tip I have for parchment paper is to pull the size you need and then crumple it in to a ball. When you open it back up it lays flat, easy peasy!

You can take your parchment paper and crumble it up in your hands and then straighten it out. It's much easier and doesn't effect your parchment paper at all.

Yep, I'm a plan yogurt black coffee kinda chick. Also dark chocolate is best, especially when blended with orange essential oil. And yet, I have loved the channel for years
Tip for your parchment... wad it up into a ball (like you're gonna throw it away) and then carefully un-wad it... it will conform to any pan shape and not ball up on you. ❤❤

I like to use plain yogurt but I add my own toppings that make it flavorful and sweet! I might add a little of my favorite jam, fresh berries, candied wallnuts and cranberries, maybe some mini chocolate chips. I get to control the flavor. It can also kind of work as a healthier/milder sour cream substitute in a pinch

I too don’t like prosciutto, however, I had a sandwich where they bake it sort of like bacon. Makes it amazing, goes crispy, and you can still use it, and all the same applications. Yum! totally top trying your Barada toast. FYI, my sandwich was croissant fig jam Fontana baked prosciutto and micro greens.
I'm not a prosciutto girl, either. Always more cheese for me and hold the prosciutto 😂.
Yes! Frying or baking the prosciutto is the only way to have it! Crispy & thin with a bacon type flavor. I like doing a toast with honey goat cheese, fig jam or pepper jelly, with the fried/baked prosciutto!

Honestly I use plain greek yogurt as a replacement for cream or sour cream in recipes, because my lactose intolerant stomach will be fine with greek yogurt and so far it's worked out well for me. I hate black coffee so much so... might just be what you use it for that makes a difference!

I buy the Fage plain Greek yogurt, but I don't just eat it like that. I use it as a sour cream substitute. If you're ever able to get your hands on the Chestnut praline topping from Starbucks, it's really good on the plain or flavored yogurt.

There's this "modern" brunch place in my city that serves dishes you never really thought would work but they do. When i was there last, i ordered a sourdough toast with whipped ricotta with orange (both juice and zest), arugula, prosciutto, and candied blackberries. When i tell you that it was one of the absolute best toasts I've ever had, i mean it. I would've never thought about it, but it was so good
