Spicy nacho cheese Doritos are very much a thing, the bags look borderline identical aside from being a slightly darker red.
To me, they taste too similar to the nacho cheese ones
I get they’re the spicy version but they’re not really spicy, tastes like a better seasoned nacho cheese Dorito
Some other spicy Doritos are the Salsa Verde ones! Really good but hard to find

Rachel's iconic cookies, lemonade, and coffee lifestyle was one that cannot be duplicated with any amount of Gatorade, Sprite, and Mountain Dew.
The doritos "method" was 100% for show only. Definitely should have been an egg dip then coat it crunched chips like normal. I hate when people fake stuff. Infuriating! I love your attitude towards everything.
It reminded me of this video where they made an omelette in the chip bag, where they just boiled the bag in water after dumping in eggs

I didn’t watch the tiktok - I watch that group on Snapchat .. She really tossed the chicken in the chip bag and shook it. Then “lost” the cutlets 😂😂

I grew up making my own Baja blast at summer camp. Blue Powerade zero and Mountain Dew which is exactly how it’s made. I think the sprite might have changed the flavor a bit
The Doritos chicken reminds me of “shake and bake” chicken we made when I was a kid, but you would dredge the chicken first, then throw it in the bag of dry coating. I think it would work a lot better that way.
I remember the shake and bake stuff. Not a huge fan. My mom wasn't the most talented in the kitchen though 😅 haha
Rachel, if you liked the second noodle, try a Bucatini noodles, the biggest one you can find, they're sooo good! I am Sicilian and that is my favorite noodle for entertaining. Also, NEVER BREAK YOUR NOODLES....only acceptable for kids 🤣.

I've been making doritos chicken strips for years, it's my kids favorite. And funny enough, I actually just helped my oldest kid make them in their first house last night!
So, I cut the chicken in strips, coat in bottled ranch, then coat in doritos (I've tried it with all flavors, cheese its, potato chips...the possibilities are endless!). Put them on a greased baking sheet, spritz with a little oil, bake at 400 for around 20 minutes.

I love that you also love the woman who makes everything in a cup. I haven't made any of her recipes but her videos are so soothing. I feel like she used a less processed brown sugar, I don't know if that makes a difference. I am not even sure where you would find less processed brown sugar. I do often do the Tasty mug blueberry muffin for breakfast when it's one of those days that requires a baked good start.

I've made the "Baja Blast" drink a few time but made it with the blue Powerade and Mt Dew and it actually tasted like it, in my opinion

I’m from Ireland and never tried the original but have heard about it so often from friends so would love to try a similar flavour. We have Powerade and mt dew. Is just them or sprite too?

my mom has made this for years. Instead of using egg, use mayonaise. Put the mayo in a bowl, put the doritos in a bowl and then do your thing. The mayo helps keep it juicy.

Your Doritos chicken recipe reminded me of one on weight watchers for baked chicken tenders but instead of breading use crushed honey bunches of oats. Can eat with a honey mustard dip but I loved it on its own. It truly was 10/10.

So funny! Love your channel. This made me think of another chicken coated recipe using “beer nuts.” One idea for another video is all the recipes you can do with “beer nuts” or Bombay mix. I have seen a ton of recipes that show how versatile these can be and they all start out looking a bit crazy. Thanks for a great video!

I've found that a crowd pleaser for parties is a Dorito taco salad. It makes a lot and is great to have with other pot luck or cookout food. I prefer the version with Russian salad dressing vs the first one I came across years ago that used Catalina salad dressing. That giant spiral pasta is very interesting!
Dorito taco salad is a must at family gatherings. We mix Russian and French!!
Crush the Doritos, coat the chicken in the egg/milk mixture, then coat with the Dorito crumbs! That's always what we did when I was a kid

yes there are spicy doritos, they have spicy nacho doritos, spicy ranch doritos, flamin hot doritos, but that chicken looked really tasty and yes i do snap my pasta in half, mainly linguine and spaghetti lol

I do a chicken tender dish that is coated with crushed captain crunch cereal or Frosted Flakes (the captain crunch is better but they both are great). It’s a dish that I ate at Hard Rock Cafe and it is delicious!!! It’s one of my kids favorite chicken dinners.

We do a recipient my mom calls crispy chip chicken, we takes lays, sometimes flavored, sometimes plain and put spices. Then we dip the chicken in egg or milk and have a separate bowl with crushed chips, it is so good
I'm only 6ish minutes in but I wanted to mention crumbing chicken with salt and vinegar chips is really good. I did it back in highschool and honestly, I'm craving them atm 😂

I make Baja blast at gas stations and usually do half mt dew, a quarter sprite and a quarter Powerade
I saw a video on microwave hacks and tips that said if you place items to the side rather than right in the center of your microwave, they will cook more evenly and have fewer hot spots. Maybe you should test that out with Myrtle…Yes, I took the liberty of naming your microwave after Moaning Myrtle due to her troublesome and jealous character and in the hopes that she’s just feeling insecure as the only appliance without a name. 😂

I make the chicken, but cover it with mayo, then Doritos and shredded cheese. I bake it in the oven with an short broil at the end. It’s my kids favorite!!!
