I bought a pair, and the AI features are not able to be used as I’m living in the uk 🇬🇧,been told that I could download the app via a vpn to get the same features, but I’m hoping that the uk 🇬🇧 version will be updated and available soon, they are still fantastic for me,as I’m not a big content creator, and learning more about them every time I use them, great video from you and thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge
That’s a bummer that you haven’t been able to fully enjoy the sunglasses but i’m sure it will be made available soon! I still wear mine every day and use the Meta AI throughout with random questions I get from family/friends or while even shopping. I mostly use it for the camera and listening to music and calls tbh
Heyyy! Thank you so muchhh! 1080p holds up well for horizontal crop on these for sure. I hope they make horizontal available too down the line. How do you like yours?
@@CanAhtam yeah I really like them. I am a Ray ban guy so I liked the styling and I really like the audio. I primarily bought them for the AI as you were using them. One feature I like is having it read something to me in Spanish like a sign or menu. I actually sent mine off to have prescription lenses added and should have them back next week.
Nice! I am a Ray-Ban guy too. Haven’t work anything but Wayfarers for a long time. I haven’t tried the translation capabilities yet. They told me about it at VidCon. I should definitely do a video on that at some point lol
Probably the only video showing how smart is the actually AI on the glasses…I looked All over and nothing this showed actual random questions….thank you
Oh wow! I am truly honored and also glad that I was able to provide clarity for what you have been looking for. I still wear my Ray-Ban Meta Smart Sunglasses and have been using Meta AI on it on occasion. Do you think I should make more videos covering Meta AI in different settings? Btw do you own a pair of them yet or are you in the market for one?
Oh shoot! I didn’t realize the same question comment here. Copying my earlier response below: I asked the same prompt as the ones outside while I at home to the sunglasses and recorded it with a wireless microphone. Lol imagine it screaming into your ears 😂😂😂
It still shoots in vertical due to social sharing on FB and IG purpose, but since it is 1080p it is easier to crop it to a landscape when I share on here.
That is so exciting! After I get the footages from my Ray-Ban Meta sunglasses via the Meta View app, I then crop them in Final Cut Pro as I edit my overall vlogs. Let me know how you enjoy them!!!
I asked the same prompt as the ones outside while I at home to the sunglasses and recorded it with a wireless microphone. Lol imagine it screaming into your ears 😂😂😂
It can shoot 60 second videos per video so i wouldn’t be able to do a full on long POV video unless i keep clicking every 60 seconds lol that would still be interesting
I’m thinking of moving to LA and you for sure got some decent vlogs. There aren’t any decent LA TH-camr vloggers from a male perspective, so There is definitely a void for you to fill…good luck
You should! Any idea where in LA yet? I appreciate you stopping by and your support. I know of a few LA vloggers but they either share food and restaurant or more Hollywood content rather than overall lifestyle vlog. Hoping to get this to somewhere in a few years. Got any tips or advice?
@@CanAhtam No idea where lol , I am currently in Chicago and moving across the country in your 30s is def anxiety ridden and complicated lol. But for some reason I’m just strongly drawn to LA and it’s nothing to do with any of the superficiality. And in terms of advice.. generally, you probably need to put vlogs out pretty regularly for you to grow. And in terms of of patterns I’ve noticed in successful vloggers would be more action and less describing or narration. A more nonchalant approach…sorta just rolling out of bed and taking people on a journey thru your typical day.. making coffee, getting food, going for a walk…making LA the main character …I noticed the simpler it is the better and more popular it turns out
Is it due to cold winters you want to make the move? I moved from Boston just because of that lol. Yeah i guess i could make the vlogs more chill but i keep thinking that it should have a point and not just be come watch me just do what i do everyday type of thing 😂 still trying to find my voice on here
@@CanAhtam Not the weather at all, I love the Chicago seasons.. love winter. I’m More afraid of the Los Angeles weather to be honest lol, I still can’t figure out if it’s too hot and how long does the heat last in LA. It’s seems their are periods of cold and coolness…which I like. What’s your take? For me la is somewhere people come to be creative and a bit free, though I do enjoy a good beach. I’ve been wanting to start a TH-cam channel But just haven’t got around to it.. I guess I’m just overthinking it. But I have done a lot of research into what kinda works for day in the life type content and the general psychology behind people watching stuff lol and what draws them in and keeps them engaged. I came to the Realization that it sometimes takes a long time to find your voice and be comfortable in front of a camera and most importantly look comfortable in front of a camera. But you can always fake it till you make it, right haha. The pattern that I have noticed that resonates with people are creators that they don’t care about what they say- not scripted or prepared, they’re just living life and happen to take us with them and they really don’t seem to put in the time to lay out the story, they let story tell it’s self
It depends on where in LA you decide to live. If you are by the ocean then you will get a lot of the foggy days around May/June and LA has a lot of gloom around those months. The summers are the worst in the Valley.

The crop held up pretty well well on the video. They need to unlock horizontal video. Well done.

Do you have any content shot with that yet? I’d love to see it. Drop the link 🙌🏼
I thought this will be shot entirely on meta glass, like a long POV footage
Edited: I heard there is 3 minutes of recording time with the new update
It can shoot 60 second videos per video so i wouldn’t be able to do a full on long POV video unless i keep clicking every 60 seconds lol that would still be interesting
Yes definitely three minutes of video capture now,and this can be changed in the settings
Whoaaa really?!?! I gotta update it today and give it a try!!!
