This is the best car repair video I’ve ever seen. Hands down. I’m gonna do some side work this weekend. The tensioner on the top is amazing, idk why all manufacturers dont do that. Thanks bro!

Fun and understandable explanation how to replace alternator, thank you.
I have a question. I have toyota corolla 2008 E140 1.4 d4d motor. There is a rustling noise when starting my car, the sound cuts out after start. A while ago my car had an oil leak. I think the problem is caused by Alternator. So, I don't know which alternator to buy.
Or should I ask: how to solve the problem of alternator failure due to oil leakage?
Thank you for the explanation 👍

You’re funny bro. Very helpful video.
Very nice video. I like the cordless tool that you used. What is it and have a link?
For 2015 and 2016 Corolla LE, do you have links to buy OEM alternators?
You can get the tool on home depot or harbor freight...
About parts, call any auto parts store, they have oem parts and aftermarket parts, you pick which one you want, the price vary
Thanks. Great help!
Glad it helped!

No problem
i have a 2011 Carolla le i installed an alternator on mine and i couldnt get the belt tight when i was tightning the tensioner it past the mark i made from tthe old 1 n the hole screw is all the way tight n its loose any answers
Perhaps is not the right alternator...or just make the belt tight enought....don't super tight the belt.
Thanks for watching!!!!
What was your solution?
😊😊
I took the tensioner completely off and the belt is still tight. I haven’t yet loosened the bolt at the bottom of the alternator holding it in place. Is that why the belt is still so tight?
Yes....don't be afraid to loose that bolt.
Play with it (pause)
Glad you liked this video.
