Thats very common when u change the cv joints or cv boots. The opposite side knuckle comes out which need lining up into grooves n then needs pushing in.
Thanks @diykhan it was the bearings on the outside of the driveshaft. TBH anyone looking to do this just replace the whole driveshaft, much easier than seperating the cv joint. It was out and back together within 45 mins! Thanks for the video 👍🏼

Hi. Yes thats the other side of drive shaft not fully into the slot
U need to line up the grooves n then tap it into the slot opposite side to the hub.

This is a cv boot not cv joint ?
Some cv jont have a clipring of nock of only, some cv jonit have a clip ring you must open up before yoy can nock off
This one didn't have one.
Pain in the ass them transit mk7 and mk8 cv joints never been able to get them off
