    You can always use the atis for the altimeter I didn't mention that.

    Great Video!!! I have over 500 h in the G1000 (virtual) and I never know it had a TOGA mode. I also have a couple hundred hours in the FBW A32NX and I never knew what TOGA stood for!!!!

      I didn’t know this either. I always just set FLC to Vy for the climb-out. Now I have something else to explore.
      I got in trouble on a recent VATSIM flight where I got vectored unexpectedly and I wasn’t competent in getting back to NAV for the ILS. Your videos have convinced me to go back and re-fly it and perfect my G1000 work.

    I didn't see u use vs or flc to get to your altitude. Were u going to use only your pitch? And what are all the icons in the toolbar?

      This video is mainly on how to set up your flight director for takeoff or using toga mode for takeoff. This will lock in a pitch for the aircraft to maintain . Once you build speed then you could drop into flc to maintain a set speed. All the icons are addons that I use . I can't remember all of them
